An Essential Customer Support Tool for any Ecommerce Business

LiveHelpNow has been a valuable part of our customer service tech stack. We've been using them for chat, knowledgebase and email over 10 years. Customers absolutely love the text messaging feature while forms and the chatbot efficiently funnel inquiries. Our staff, from tech savvy to beginner, find the agent workspace intuitive and easy-to-use. LHN's tech support is always on point, available and knowledgeable. They are also always improving their technologies so we have never felt the need to go out looking for another option (before we can wish for a feature, it's already added!). They have also built custom solutions for us. We highly recommend LiveHelpNow!

LiveHelpNow is a great fit for us

LiveHelpNow is a great fit for us. It offers far more features than we utilize. From a platform management point of view, it is was user friendly enough that I was able to take over managing our live chat and make needed changes on my own. The reporting functions are easy to use. The support team at LiveHelpNow is top notch. They have always been more than helpful. When I have a goal to achieve to help us provide better support to our customers but no idea where to start, I have contacted our rep at LiveHelpNow for solutions. When he didn't have an instant solution, he said give me some time to find a way to make it happen and he did exactly that. The one area that could use a little improvement is the self help articles. For me they would have been more useful if they had more step by step guidance. We have used LiveHelpNow for more than 13 years! They are great.

Terrible

Terrible. I had a major customer service issue that involved submitting a form. The form would not accept. I tried several times and did some troubleshooting. The page only froze and stated “cannot accept ticket.” My customer service issue with the company that uses them, were completely unreachable and kept sending me to this site…not thrilled.

Membership free took $34.90 out of my bank account

I've been on chat for proximately 45 minutes now with this live view they false advertised a membership since it was free I canceled it 5 minutes after I signed up for it cuz it was not what I was looking for and they took $34.90 out of my account I need that money for court this afternoon and they're telling me it's going to take 2 days to get my money back when the account says sign up with your debit card money will not be with drawed from your account I wasn't in the site 5 minutes canceled the account they took $34.90 out of my account so it's false advertisement and their liars cuz now I'm going to have problems with the court system in Illinois because I can't hey my fine with the court because they took money out of my account where I said they wouldn't now I'm going to go to jail because they will not give me my money back not fair at all sincerely
John Doyle and there's a guy named mark That's supposed to be helping you figure out what to do I asked him for phone number of this establishment he ignored me I need my money how hard is that to understand

I like it but ........

I find that, as an admin of the Chat experience, I have to buy an extra "seat or license" in order to get in and configure and see reports without kicking the Operator out of his/her session. An extra expense that is hard to justify in a small enterprise. Apart from this, I like everything that I have seen including the now usual emailing of the chat script.

Glad to hear you are liking the solution! The reason we require even an admin to have a license is because there would be no way for us to determine if that admin has any restrictions- that means they could take chats, generate reporting, etc, which allows them to have the same capabilities as an operator. We have considered having an option for only admins but we have not yet rolled it out. We will keep you posted! :) Thanks again!

Cool it with the surveys!

I had to ask a simple question and I used live Chat. Great! In the 6 hours since I've been asked to fill out three surveys regarding my experience. I want my experience to end! Leave me alone! You took a good experience and made it bad! You are like psycho exes who keep asking why I broke up with you and asking the same thing 20 different ways. Stop the madness!

In this day and age it is very rare to experience good to excellent customer service. Live Help provides excellent customer service.

Happy to recommend

My organisation uses the live chat software, it is easy to set up and very user-friendly without requiring you to have an in-depth technical understanding.

When I have needed to contact LHN! I have found them to be easy to get hold of and very efficient in answering my query.

Great tool, but needs a couple more features

We've been using LiveHelpNow for about 3 years for the ticketing process, handling about 15000 tickets annually through the tool. The ease of use and reliability of the platform is admirable--there have only been a small number of downtimes, and in all cases LiveHelpNow was right on top of it.

My only reservation is in having only one standard ticket form per account. I've raised this issue a couple times with LiveHelpNow and was always told that "someone would look into it," but there's still only one ticket template in the tool per account. Many businesses require different ticketing options for different types of requests, so it would be nice to have a choice of two or three different ticketing templates that our submitters could use. I know there's email-to-ticket functionality, but that's not as robust as having a ticket form in the tool with all the fields and categories we need.

Great feedback! We do take feature suggestions from our avid users into much consideration. This particular request for multiple ticket templates is something that our developing team will be implementing into our Ticket System in the future, unfortunately we do not have a specific timeline. However, we most definitely agree- this particular feature would boost the Ticket System significantly! Thanks for taking the time to share!

Dead-simple to implement and Feature rich!

We've been using LiveHelpNow for several years on our websites. It couldn't be easier to set up—but there are tons of cool features including:

- Analytics
- Mobile chat
- Translation (really great for chatting with people from other countries!)

...among many other useful features. We tested 2-3 different live chat systems before settling on LiveHelpNow due to the better features. Other chat systems we tried fell short of our needs.

The Mobile Chat is probably the biggest key feature I could recommend—it's a great way to ensure that the chat shows as "online" even if an operator is not physically logged into a computer. You can schedule it to be on/off for a set time each day of the week so that you can simply answer chats on your smartphone as they come in, without having to be sitting at a workstation.

The only negative thing I can think of is that on Windows PCs (Windows 8 and prior), the LiveHelpNow Alerter desktop software uses Internet Explorer. I use a Mac, now, and it's so much better and faster with Safari. I imagine there are some technical reasons why it uses Internet Explorer and I have no idea how it works on Windows 10+ systems—though I would guess that it works better.

You can, of course, use any browser to log into LiveHelpNow's website and chat from there. I just wanted to point out that minor issue/annoyance with the Alerter software for Windows. Other than that, it works great!

Lastly, I should say that the Support from LiveHelpNow is pretty great, as well. I haven't had the need to contact support many times—but the few times I have, I've never waited long and they've always been knowledgeable and able to quickly help me with whatever my issue is.

So, if you're looking for a live chat software to implement on your website, give LiveHelpNow a shot—chances are, you won't need to try another one.

Great product so far

Only been using the product for a couple weeks, but satisfied so far. The support team has been fantastic and I feel like the user interface of the application is fairly intuitive.

I am extremely satisfied with live help now. Not only do they provide full support which most chat software providers do not, but the staff is pleasant, knowledgable and always take the time to explain how their features can improve my website. Feature packed software

My company has been using Livehelpnow chat for years the staff is always pleasant, knowledgeable and are happy to assist us with any of our questions. We were getting over whelmed with the number of after hour emails that we were getting and loosing track of. But the CSR was able to show us how the Email to Ticket will help us keep on top of all the emails that come in. Along with being able to track our twitter feed. This will make my staff happy!

Outstanding support with impressive features

I used other chat software in the past and was not happy with the outdated features and the lack of support I received. From the moment I was on the livehelpnow website I was blown away by the quality of customer service they provide. The agent took the time to explain the features and benefits of using livehelpnow on my website and provided helpful links and articles to show me how livehelpnow can work for me.
