Eventual resolution

Terrible customer service. Ordered an extra bottle as need it for a spare when out and about. Not even been dispatched despite the supposed uk warehouse. WhatsApp messages go unanswered, as do emails. Don't bother ordering direct from them, find a different retailer that supplies this brand. Have now had to raise a dispute via PayPal to get my money back.

UPDATE

Lola and Lykke read my review and offered me a solution to the issues I had with my order. They kindly refunded me for the bottle with no issues. They acknowledged there are issues with the UK warehouse which has been affecting UK orders and deliveries. I am satisfied with the outcome.

Laadukas ja kestävä rintapumppu

Laadukas ja kestävä rintapumppu. Ollut päivittäisessä käytössä täysimetetyn lapsen kanssa. Kilpaileva malli aiheutti kipua pumpatessa mutta tämä on mukava ja huomaamaton. Kiitos myös jouhevasta asiakaspalvelusta ja nopeasta toimituksesta!

Asiantuntevaa ja ystävällistä palvelua. Olin ostanut Hobby Hallista Lola&Lykke pumpun, jonka kanssa tuli ongelmia. Hobby Hall ei koskaan vastannut yhteydenottopyyntöön ja sainkin Lola&Lykkeltä kuulla, että ei ole heidän valtuutettu jälleenmyyjänsä. Lola & Lykke hoiti asian erinomaisesti kanssani ja pahoittelivat tilannetta, joka ei valitettavasti ollut ainutkertainen.

Customs charges from UK warehouse???

Firstly, I have waited over 2 weeks for my order (I placed the order on 28th May) and then received notification that my order would be delivered this week. Then, despite their website showing that they would dispatch my order from their new UK warehouse, I have been notified by DHL that I need to pay £46 in customs charges before they will release the order, which I will not pay! I have contacted the customer service team at Lola&Lykke but not yet had a reply about the customs charges.

Hi, I am very sorry for the delay as it took a few weeks to get orders moving as usual from our new UK warehouse. All the delays have now been resolved and orders are shipped to our UK customers from the UK warehouse within a 48-hour delivery window. Your order was exceptionally shipped from our Finnish warehouse, as we wanted you to receive your order as soon as possible after being notified of the UK warehouse delays. There was a customs charge incurred but this has been refunded back to you as we do promise our UK customers they do not need to pay any customs charges. Our customer service has been in touch with you to offer a free gift in addition as an apology for the delay with your order. Despite the wait, I do hope you enjoy using your Lola&Lykke products. I have not received the products I have…

I have not received the products I have ordered almost a month ago . Customer service has been ok at replying but keep telling me the products have been shipped but the tracking shows that evri have yet to receive the parcel. Latest email told me the parcel would be there by 4th and it still hasn’t arrived. I’m now. Over £150 out of pocket and have not received a refund despite asking for one due to delay. I was offered 20% off which I took initially when I was promised the products would be with me this week and once again I was lied to.
When you order products especially a breast pump the delivery is key as the products are time sensitive I’m now massively in need of a pump and don’t have it . It doesn’t matter how good the pump is if it doesn’t arrive??!

EDIT
After the issues with delivery above I have now received the pump and can say it is very good. It’s user friendly and so easy to pump into the storage bags which are the best I’ve used so far. Suction is very good and easy have had the best output from a pump so far.

From ordering to receiving the order…

From ordering to receiving the order has been a total nightmare! Not to mention the lack of customer service, it has honestly been one of the worst experiences I’ve had.
I had to chase up about my order, it was not even dispatched until i contacted them. It then took even longer due to an error they made & i had to pay for the duty customs which should be Free like it claims on their website! Once I received my order, I open it up & it was a total mess! The state I received my order was completely unacceptable! I am very shocked at how appalling their customer service is too! I did not receive everything & it looks as if they sent me someone else’s used returned breastfeeding kit!! I’m not even sure if the breast pump even works. The boxes were already opened you can tell it’s not brand new. It was all ripped & damaged as well as the items been all over the place. There was no care or thought when this was sent out to me, it’s absolutely disgusting they would even send anyone’s order like this! I’m extremely disappointed & would avoid buying from this company. It has been over month since I’ve ordered & they’ve very slow to resolve the issue.

I appreciate your reply however there is a few things I like to make clear. This was not down to DHL as the outer packaging was fine, it’s your products & your packaging that was damaged. Items were missing such as milk storage bags & flanges as I showed several times through WhatsApp & email.

It was not a quick delivery it took 2 weeks to arrive.
I would also like to mention It does not state on your website that customers will be given a refund to pay for the duty tax… I was not aware of this at all & I had to chase it up & wait to be refunded which took a few days. Your website is misleading as it did not include customs duties & taxes. You should let the customer know that they are likely to receive an invoice from the courier, & that this will be refunded to them.

I did not receive an immediate response from customer service, I messaged on 22nd March on WhatsApp & I only got a response on there on the 5th April?? This is very appalling & definitely is not an immediate response. After I replied to that message on the same day when I recieved my order showing you the images of the damage which you can clearly see the kit you sent me was not brand new. It was a used returned product & it would not be in that state inside the box if it was brand new so I was clearly sent this kit on purpose. Inside the milk storage bag box it was a mess, wrinkled & looked like it was just shoved in. The other products you can clearly tell it was opened & shoved back in to the box.

I spent £237.60 you only offered me a £50 refund. I personally feel this is not good enough I should have at least got half my money back considering I got a used returned breastfeeding kit & how awful this whole process has been not to mention the state of my order came in as well.

I will provide images on your website & on here if it allows me to. I can also provide screenshots of the chat & show how many times I have had to contact customer service & how long it took your team to respond. As well as ignoring my enquiries multiple times.
I can see from other customers I’m not the only one who has had a dreadful experience hence why your company has a 3 star rating on here. Clearly customer satisfaction is not your main priority.

I did message on a business day yet your customer service still failed to respond multiple times! Please take responsibility instead of trying to blame others. It does not excuse you from sending a used returned breastfeeding kit or explain the state of my order & then trying to blame DHL when it was clearly not their fault??
Please stop making false claims. I did not ask to keep the whole order & then expect for a full refund too. I accepted a partial refund but obviously I expected more than a £50 refund for a used returned kit! I would have preferred to return the whole order but i do not have time to find & research for new pump when I am close to giving birth soon. I also cannot be dealing with your very slow customer service which has already taken a month going back & forth on emails instead of trying deal with it on WhatsApp which should have been more quicker.
Your company clearly has no morals & lack basic customer service. If I am paying over £230, I expect a brand new kit in new condition! It is ridiculous that you even think it’s acceptable & that you think a £50 refund makes up for this disgusting behaviour.

My order was not brand new. It was a returned item that was sent out to me intentionally. When I enquired about my order as it had been a week with no updates, 2 of your colleagues told me u won’t be receiving ur new batch till the next week. Suddenly within hours I get an email saying my order had been shipped.. clearly it was not from the new batch.

Hello, I am sorry that you feel the delivery was not up to our normal standards. Our customer service team has been in touch with you several times to resolve this. We had momentarily sold out of our breast pumps, which caused a delay in your shipment. As soon as the pumps arrived at our Finnish warehouse, we dispatched the order to you from Finland through expedited DHL express delivery in order to get the items to you as quickly as possible. Due to this reason, the delivery incurred customs costs at the UK end, but I think it is important to highlight that these were immediately reimbursed to you, so you did not need to cover the duty costs, as we communicate in our shipping policy. We pride ourselves on high quality deliveries, and as our customer service team has said several times, we apologize on DHL´s behalf for the damage in your shipment. We have offered you a free return for a full refund, as of course we want customers to receive products in good condition. Of course if the pump does not work, we offer a 2-year warranty replacement. In the end we offered you a partial refund as per our understanding, only the packing was damaged and the products themselves were in good condition. We would have also of course offered full refund when returning products to us, but you opted for the partial refund and indicated to our team that you wanted to keep the products. I am happy to share that have just launched a UK warehouse for local shipments and a super simple returns process for our UK customers. I would like to emphasize that as per correspondence with our customer service team, the issue has indeed already been resolved, with various options offered to rectify the situation. I am sorry to hear you still feel the service offered has been unsatisfactory. If you have any further queries, pls do not hesitate to contact our customer service team.

As we have indicated many times, we are happy for you to return the products for free for a full refund. We offer a quick and simple return process to our new UK warehouse. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you the possibility to keep the products and receive a full refund. You opted to keep the products for a partial refund. Please note your order did not include any flanges, so it is incorrect to claim you did not receive some products as you did not order them at all.

Further to your responses, as communicated before, we are happy for you to return the product to us. Once this has been inspected at our warehouse, we are happy to refund you the total product cost minus the partial refund that you have already received. Our customer service team has provided the return instructions to you. I must emphasize that we will only release a full refund for returned products that have been inspected at our end. We never send used products to our customers.

Responsive and Helpful Customer Service Team

After extensive researching of reviews, I've recently purchased their smart electric breast pump and I'm very much looking forward to using it alongside my Spectra Synergy Gold Portable breast pump.

After submitting my order, I realized that I wanted to add an additional item to my purchase and their customer service team was exceptionally helpful and responsive to my request. They responded quickly and added the item I needed right away. Great customer service!

I'm very much looking forward to using their product and purchasing from them in the future.

Excellent items and great customer support

I'm the satisfied owner of several Lola&Lykke items, one of which is their star product, the Smart Electric Breast Pump. I find it to be a great pump: comfortable, straightforward, powerful, lightweight, efficient, portable. My body responds poorly to pumping breastmilk, so I tried many pumps (including the trendy double wearable ones) to figure out whether the pumping output could be improved, but it's with Lola&Lykke's pump that I achieve the best results.
I'm also very content with Lola&Lykke's outstanding customer support: I had reached them with a inquiry about the availability of one of their products and they replied promptly and offered an amazing solution to it.

Return process is none existing

Return process is none existing. I received my order from their warehouse Ireland, but due to the belt not only not helping my condition but making it worse I have to return it Finland! Being heavily pregnant I have to go to the post office. The posting is at my cost. And the email makes a quite clear note not to save money on the cheapest way of posting as it’s completely my responsibility. So if I have to post it abroad via tracking mail.
Worst customer service so far.

Appreciate your reply, though not sure how a free gift of something I probably don’t need would be a gesture of good will…
As I’m not planning to order anything else ever from your company due to your customer service.
Returning my money including what’s spent on postage would be a gesture of good will.

Works super well and great after-sales service

The breast pump works super well. My baby could not suckle and I wanted to feed her on breast milk ... So I relied on my breast pump and used it several times a day every day for 8 months. I had a horrible experience with a different brand: it regularly stopped working. This caused me lots of stress until I found this breast pump. It made my life easy (in a moment that things were not easy...) and let me fulfill my objective of feeding my baby with breast milk. The after sales service is quick and very attentive.

Worst shipping time as I am waiting for…

Worst shipping time as I am waiting for more than 2 weeks now and a sloppy customer service. I got affected by their shipping time on ordering post partum belt and breast pump twice separately. I goty post partum belt delivered after 2 weeks or so
After ordering breast pump and chasing, I got an email stating they are waiting for stock and it won't be shipped for more than 7 days and no notification of shipping. If you don't have stock, please make it out of stock online rather than making the customer wait. This company sells sensitive products for women who are going through toughest phase of their post pregnancy and such a dreadful shipping and a sloppy customer service. There is no phone number or chat to speak to their customer service team, just a snail email. I will avoid it even if their products are good.

Item Didn’t arrive and poor customer service experience

I had an emergency c section and places and order for the support band on Monday 4th September before noon. On their website it states that “Transit typically takes 2-3 business days. Orders processed same day if placed by 12pm GMT on a weekday.”

I received a shipping confirmation for this order on Monday 4th, and I was eagerly anticipating its arrival. However, to my disappointment, nothing has been delivered to me as of today 13th September. I contacted the company and had to wait several days before I got any acknowledgement when the item didn’t arrive. I had to

via email, their website and PayPal before I finally got a reply saying that the item was lost and then another email saying it was still on its way. I requested a full refund as I found that this lack of transparency regarding my order's location has been quite frustrating, as I urgently needed the support band and I would no longer be at my home address I’d were to arrive any later than Monday 11th.

Yet again I have not heard back and will need to raise a dispute with PayPal to
Get my money back it seems.

We currently ship to the UK from our Irish warehouse, and due to AnPost delays last week, your parcel was stuck in transit. This is not very typical but sometimes unfortunately there are unanticipated delays with individual shipments. great product, excellent customer service

Overall great product and Excellent customer service.
Bought the smart pump before my daughter was born, not really knowing how much we would use it. Turned out to be a godsend and saved our BF journey!

Easy to use, easy to clean and store. Also Fits with philips avent bottles, and lola&lykke adaptor to pump straight into freezer bags.

Unfortunately after nearly a year, the pump stopped working, i think a motor issue (?) But Lola&Lykke provided amazing customer service and after sending a couple of emails and a video of the faulty pump, they sent a new set out to me which arrived in less than a week. Thank you so much for great customer service, will definitely recommend.

A couple of improvements would be the storage bags are hard to open out at the bottom. It would be good to have a simple screw lid for the bottle, rather than having to use the teat & lid (extra faff for cleaning etc when the milk is going to be stored or given in a different bottle). Great that it now comes with a storage bag.

Hi Imam! I´m so sorry you are disappointed with your shopping experience with Lola&Lykke. We do have a very flexible returns policy and will absolutely refund any faulty or dirty items. Our customer service was in touch with you regarding your return request earlier this week. The reason we ask for a photo of a faulty product is so that it does not need to be returned to us. If you have received a faulty product, we simply just refund it to you after verifying the fault digitally, making sure we minimize our environmental impact as we would dispose of the product after return anyway. Pls respond to the customer service email and we will process the refund for you.

Paras pumppu mitä olen omistanut!

Rintapumppu on ihan huikea ja ihanan edistyksellistä, että pakastuspussin saa yhdistettyä pumppuun, jolloin se on vieläkin hygienisempää. Paras pumppu mitä olen koskaan aiemmin kokeillut ja mulla on ollu ainaki 4 erin valmistajan pumppuja ennen tätä.

I absolutely love my pregnancy support belt!

I absolutely love my pregnancy support belt! It helps me with my lower back pain and I feel so much lighter when I use it. It gives a little bit pressure on the bladder, but it’s so worth it to walk around without the pain! Great service, kind, professional and quick 🙏🏽
