I went into millets Chippenham on Tuesday this week to enquire about a travel bag for my Son who leaves for Australia next week. I was greeted by a very nice and informative young lad (sorry I didn’t get his name) who suggested a bag they had in store which looked ideal for what my son wanted. I went in the next day with my Son and was served by the lovely Vicki who showed us how the bag worked, how much weight it took etc and also suggested a couple more things that he could take such as a light weight towel, adapter etc. All very reasonably priced which was fabulous as I was paying :) and it was great quality gear. A big thankyou to Vicki and I think Doug? and the young lad who were all very friendly, helpful and definitely all know what they are talking about.

I went into the shop to buy walking socks. They had the item I wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shop is small but has a good selection of outdoor and camping gear. It's great to be able to buy locally.

I went to Millets in Chippenham to buy a cap and came out with that and a rain jacket. Doug (ace salesman!) was very helpful and didn't try to sell me something more expensive than I needed. Plus I've always had good experiences with Peter Storm products.

Went in for walking trainers and was served by the legendary Doug who I previously saw on TV for his 60 years service. All the branch staff here are knowledgeable and so helpful. Got great service and exactly what I needed. What a refreshing difference to buying online. Clearly this branch is managed superbly as they have such low staff turnover. Well done team. Chippenham is lucky to have you all 🌟

Wandered in to your Chippenham branch to be greeted by the lovely Nicki who sorted me out with the perfect light jacket which was even on sale!

Doug helped me find a pair of hiking boots, gave advice on the fit and wearing them in, and was very helpful overall. Will definitely be coming back 5* thanks Doug

Friendly service and the lady gave me the D of E discount for the trousers for my son.

Lovely friendly staff happy to help and look for things in the storeroom.

Doug really nice and helpful showed me where the changing rooms were so I could try on the t shirts.

Went in to buy some cargo trousers and Doug was an absolute star, showed me to the best ones and gave me an in depth explanation of the product and made sure I knew what I was buying

I was so lucky to meet Brad in Millets in Chippenham, where I was looking for a pair of walking shoes for summer use. Brad was brilliant, he knew the stock well, listened to my requirements ( wide toe box), and was able to show me three walking shoes for me to try on. The first ones, Merrill walking shoes, were the ones I chose. Thank you, Brad, you were so helpful to me.
