Having had our online order mislaid by the courier, and an impending DofE expedition we were left in a situation of no equipment and payment for a large order twice until refunded. However upon calling our local store we couldn’t have asked for better service. James Davies not only arranged our refund, he took his time to piece together every piece of equipment that we needed, offered great advice, incredibly patient on a busy late afternoon, knowledgeable, and nothing was an inconvenience. Jamie deserves high praise. We certainly will be going direct to store from now on, and have recommended to our group to see James too. Well done, and thank you!

This morning I took in a parcel for drop off - I had not printed part of the required label so it wouldn’t scan. Sarah S went above and beyond to solve my problem so I didn’t have to take the parcel home and start again! Thank you so much😊.

Can’t fault the service at Newquay Millets. Served by Holly who has ordered online for home delivery twice now when items we needed were out of stock in store. Always a pleased to by from this shop as all staff are so helpful. Even our dog enjoys the shop as he’s guaranteed a treat.

What an impressive service. Sarah who worked there was so passionate and had so much patience with me. I was buying walking shoes and she let me try on different shoes and guided me through the whole process.

Looking for walking shoes for my oversize feet and so glad I ended up in millets in Newquay. Amazing service, knowledge and advice and an amazing price so I purchased two pairs of extremely comfortable Merrell shoes. Love them and already had several hours in them. Thank you SJ.

Me and my partner was out in Newquay looking for some hiking boots which we visited many shops, we pop into this one store millets & we had a look around and found the perfect walking boots we was after, the guy working there who’s name is James, was absolutely lovely, he bought us 2 different sizes as me and my partner had to size down 1 but James was amazing at serving us today 8th march 2025, and was even making general conversation with us which we felt so comfortable and at home at the shop with James, he was super amazing, excellent communication skills, & went above and beyond, I do wish more people like James existed in more shops!

Absolutely amazing service from James and SJ today.

Just popped in looking for a bum bag but found two amazing ski jackets thanks to them both and one was in the sale!

They were both super helpful and so knowledgeable about the products.......it was great to meet them and get such lovely outfits that fit perfectly.

Holly was so helpful with trying to buy extra wide walking boots. She brought so many different boots to try.
