Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry you feel this way, after your abusive WhatsApp messages to us however we believe it is important to provide some clarification.
We had been communicating with you for several months regarding sourcing a replacement Apple Mac Studio power supply before an order was eventually placed. There are no Apple Mac Studio Power Supplies available anywhere in the UK and we had one breaking and were the only company you found that could supply one which were your words and facts from online searches. Throughout the process we advised that specialist Apple replacement parts can take approximately no less then 5–7 working days for delivery. Working days do not include weekends or non-business days, which can sometimes cause confusion regarding expected arrival dates. Which we had to reiterate to you EVERYDAY wasting our resources.
At Minko’s Macs, we always try our best to source genuine and high-quality replacement parts for Apple devices, including Mac Studio repairs, iMac repairs, MacBook repairs, MacBook Pro repairs and Apple computer repairs. Some specialist components are not always immediately available and require sourcing through trusted suppliers which we informed this customer of months before he made the order.
Martin is adding weekends as working days to make his attack on us seem valid. We understand tiny delays can be frustrating, especially when repairing devices for customers, but we always aim to communicate honestly and provide realistic timescales rather than make promises we cannot guarantee.
Martin had a computer company that failed and now fixes devices from home with this Mac Studio being in his possession for over 3 months. This review is coming from a place of hatred, jealousy and envy. He wishes he had what we have and tried for months not to spend money with us but we are the only company in the UK with the part that he needed.
Minko’s Macs would’ve had this device repaired within days serving 10s of customers daily for complex logic board and micro electronic repairs across multiple stores daily. Just come to us and avoid this people doing home repairs with no accountability and TAX avoidance.
We have the best technicians in the country under our umbrella and have public places to serve you.
We have proudly supported thousands of customers across London for over 15 years through our Camden, Lewisham, Shoreditch and Wimbledon Apple repair locations, and we remain committed to professional service and quality repairs.

Excellent service
Excellent service. I had an emergency with my laptop being compromised. Minko let me come to the branch towards the end of the day and reset my laptop. Given what had happened this took some time and I appreciated it greatly given that it was such short notice and at the end of the day. The whole process was very thorough and Minko explained exactly what he was doing and explained what might have happened and what I should be looking out for. Highly recommended for any issues you may have with your Mac. He is super knowledgeable and helpful.

Wasted 4 hours and met with a £500 "surprise" price hike after my message.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Minko’s Mac Camden. I had been messaging the shop regarding a Mac Studio listed at £2,500. Based on that price and our correspondence, I travelled to the shop specifically to purchase the device on the spot.
The Issues or trap I don't know:
Sudden Price Increase: Upon arrival, I was told the price had suddenly jumped to £3,000. Increasing the price by £500 right as a customer shows intent to buy is highly unprofessional.
Poor Management Communication: The shop assistant was helpful and answered my technical questions, but explained that only the manager, Minko, could address the pricing.
Wasted Time: I waited in the shop for 45 minutes and tried calling the manager multiple times, even leaving a voicemail. I received no response and no courtesy call back.
In total, I wasted 4-5 hours of my time traveling and waiting. It is very poor business practice to bait a customer with one price and then become unavailable when asked to honor it. If you’re looking for price transparency and professional management, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

The Mac Studio was advertised for £3,000. Before visiting our Camden store, you offered £2,500 through Facebook Marketplace—a £500 discount—which was declined. There was therefore no agreed sale at £2,500 and no “surprise” price increase when you arrived. The advertised price remained £3,000.
You subsequently visited the store and again requested the £500 discount, referring to the distance you had travelled from within north-west London. Our colleague answered your technical questions but was not authorised to override the advertised price or a management decision that had already been communicated.
During the manager’s scheduled day off, you obtained his personal telephone number through Facebook and called it repeatedly—approximately ten times. Our team members are entitled to personal time and are not required to answer repeated calls to a private number, particularly when no appointment, purchase or return call has been agreed. Our official business contact channels remain available for genuine enquiries during working hours.
We were also disappointed that a one-star review was threatened when the requested discount and immediate access to the off-duty manager were not provided. Minko’s Macs welcomes respectful enquiries and reasonable negotiations, but we cannot accept repeated contact through private channels or the use of reviews to pressure our staff into providing a financial concession.
Minko’s Macs is an award-winning independent Apple specialist with 15 years of experience. When my computer died after 12 years of…
When my computer died after 12 years of dutiful service I didn't know where to put myself, especially when I discovered that Apple don't make 27" iMacs any longer. I had used it every day for making my art work and so this was a total disaster with a capital D! I spent more than two weeks scouring every computer shop between London and Croydon without any joy. And then I discovered Minko's Macs on Lee High Road in Lewisham - my saviours!!! For a reasonable price they supplied me with a refurbished 27" iMac including all the apps I had come to rely on. One month on and my 'new' computer has been working without any problems or glitches. So thank you Minko's. So, if you have a Mac which is having problems, then I warmly suggest that you go to Minko's who will provide you with a service way over and above the call of duty.
