Super fast and friendly service

When my computer died after 12 years of dutiful service I didn't know where to put myself, especially when I discovered that Apple don't make 27" iMacs any longer. I had used it every day for making my art work and so this was a total disaster with a capital D! I spent more than two weeks scouring every computer shop between London and Croydon without any joy. And then I discovered Minko's Macs on Lee High Road in Lewisham - my saviours!!! For a reasonable price they supplied me with a refurbished 27" iMac including all the apps I had come to rely on. One month on and my 'new' computer has been working without any problems or glitches. So thank you Minko's. So, if you have a Mac which is having problems, then I warmly suggest that you go to Minko's who will provide you with a service way over and above the call of duty.

Minko's Macs Lewisham did it again. I needed a new battery for my Macbook Air to a tight deadline, as I was flying out shortly afterwards. They pulled out all the stops and got it done in time, while being polite and friendly throughout. That's the second time I've had super-impressive service here.

I'm happy with the computer and the deal I got from the company. I wanted a good computer that did the basics, and the site recommended one that ticked all the boxes as advertised. I like the quick response and that's why gave them a 5 star rating.

I was working out of area at a satellite office in Lewisham when my Mac suddenly stopped charging. With important reports to complete and tight deadlines, I needed to get it fixed urgently. I contacted Minkos in Lewisham, explained the situation, and they were incredibly helpful from the outset. They allowed me to bring the Mac in without an appointment to diagnose the issue, with the possibility of carrying out the repair straight away.

The problem was identified quickly and, to my relief, the computer was fully repaired within two hours. They even stayed open later than normal to make sure the job was completed. The level of service was exceptional, and I can’t thank them enough for helping me out in a stressful situation. Highly recommended.

I brought in my gaming laptop, with broken hinges. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to fix it, as it wasn't a software issue + it's not a common kind of computer. But they confirmed it was something they could do before they took any money, so I already felt confident from the start.

I got my laptop back in a week, despite them having to order the parts from Europe. I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick this was, considering every other laptop repair place has held onto my laptop for weeks, only to not fix the problem.

asked for a quote on soldering switches on a small keyboard, they quoted 60 pounds per hour so 240-300 pounds. Essentially it takes them 4-5 minutes to do 1 switch

Really happy. Fixed laptop (massive coffee spillage) within the day. Very fortunate as I had old Apple -newer ones much harder to fix with the new Apple security - be warned . I went to the Whitechapel outlet, no one there but I called went to the Lee High Road outlet. Therefore really good experience from person on phone as well. Very happy - I don't normally put reviews, so this says a lot.
