I would very highly rate newsflare , as a dashcam user I upload to various sources online, I regularly get approached from various media outlets concerning clips.
Early on several outlets were given permission to use them and also sold them to press , however some do not pay up quickly if at all.
Newsflare have always paid quickly and give a 50 percent split on any sales you make but also can repeat sell. They will also chase anyone using your content without your permission saving you hassle. It's a great way to share things you catch with the possibility of making some money also.

I am a freelance photographer and photojournalist who has been covering events in Hong Kong over the past year.

I use Newsflare to pitch my videos to the likes of Reuters and Associated Press. The Newsflare team are very helpful, in giving tips and advice and even editing your videos to pitch to their clients.

Newsflare take 50% of your earnings, but they do work for the money.

I mostly use the smartphone app to upload videos direct from the scene, which I find works well. The only issues I've had is with connectivity, which has nothing to do with the app, but actual problems connecting to a 4G network in huge crowds.

I have been submitting videos to Newsflare since its early inception. I have found it a very handy service in getting my News videos seen. I have had good success having my work on multitude of News Websites as well as On TV as well.

My recommendation is if you are new to it. if you wish to upload content use the website as the phone app and apple app is rather problematic.

All in all it is a great service and is one of the best ways to get your video seen.

I've been uploading to Newsflare for over two years and thoroughly recommend them if you shoot news freelance or have a potential viral video in your hands. There's no guarantee of success in everything you upload (media might just not be interested!) but I'm incredibly happy with my success with Newsflare. My videos have been sold to outlets including MailOnline, The Sun and LADBible to name just a few (I'd be here a while naming them all). Payment within 24 hours to PayPal for direct sales is fantastic too! Definitely recommend.

I've been a member of the Newsflare community since 2014 and have sold a fair few videos through them - to various places - The Sun, the New York Post, ITV, and BBC among others. If you've filmed anything newsworthy, or anything that you think others might enjoy (think cute, fluffy animals, viral videos etc), try posting it with them. Nothing to lose, everything to gain, particularly living in London where newsworthy events occur on a fairly frequent basis! Payment is quick and easy, the website interface is easy to use, and there's a pretty good app as well if you're keen to shoot things with your phone. All in all, definitely recommend them.

Interesting business model.

Initial concerns at first but it paid off for some video that I filmed in passing.

Omg never share or give licensing to Newsflare! They are scammers! After my video went viral for more than 1million views, Lucy from twitter message me to have licensing and promised to pay me once I uploaded. After that I couldn’t sign in to my account in newsflare anymore, they didn’t response to my messages anymore, they are scammers! Don’t ever ever give licensing to anyone specially to newsflare! Don’t believe on their promises!

I thought they were a serious news company when I sold my video to them but they did not put my video on any news. They also said I would make money but I have not been paid. I will never use this company again.

Painfully outdated upload system, impossible to contact, extremely slow to respond with deletion requests, criminal payout percentages.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Awful. their spam bots keep flooding Liveleak with kitten videos and other spam videos sometimes posting up to 20 videos a day. needs to be stopped.

High Quality Service with High quality standards. Very responsive support and a pleasure to work with. HOWEVER Pricing Structure is brutal. They quoted £900 for a 4 week use of my material to a customer. Customer contacted me personally and we did a deal at £150.
