Having been a user of Nimbus for some time now, I was delighted to have John Miller expertly run me through all the recent new and differing levels of information that could be accessed. The training was focussed on my companies requirements and I had no hesitation in signing for the Enterprise Package and my company is already benefiting from the upgrade !!

In 2022, I signed up for a one-year contract with Nimbus Maps at a cost of £1,200. Unfortunately, during that year, I discovered that the software did not function as promised. Specifically, the software failed to accurately identify plots of land by the minimum land area, which was the primary reason for my subscription. It frequently missed relevant plots and included others that did not meet the specified criteria.

I contacted the support team via telephone and was informed that someone would get back to me, as the relevant personnel were unavailable at the time. However, no one returned my call. I tried calling again on a different day, but received no answer.

Since I was unable to use the software as intended, I allowed the contract to run its course and made sure to contact Nimbus Maps around three weeks before the contract's expiration to confirm that my card would not be charged again. To my surprise, I was told that it was impossible to cancel because I had to provide 30 days' notice. As a result, I was informed that I would be charged for another year.

Despite multiple emails and phone calls, Nimbus Maps refused to cancel my account, stating that the contract could not be terminated. My continued requests for cancellation were ignored, and my card was subsequently charged another £1,200.

As of October 2024, I have sent numerous emails to Nimbus Maps’ support team and personally addressed letters to the company’s directors, which were sent via Royal Mail signed-for service. I requested cancellation of my account and information on how to file an official complaint. Nearly three months have passed, and I have received no response to any of my correspondence.

Furthermore, I’ve noticed that the terms and conditions on their website have been updated multiple times over the past two years, without any clear record of the changes. This raises concerns about the transparency and consistency of their policies.

In total, I have lost £2,400, and I remain concerned that my card may be charged again. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with this company, as my experience has been deeply disappointing. For reference my name is John Baxter.

I canceled my trial a year ago and only purchased land registry documents from the company. Despite this, they saved my card details and have since made five unauthorized transactions of £120. This is fraudulent, as the money was taken without my consent. I intend to report this to the authorities and will also be claiming my money back through my bank. Be cautious of companies like this that don't listen and try to bind you to contracts without consent or a signed agreement. Beware of fraudsters. they have tried to take more transactions but it was a good job I froze my card.

We have found Nimbus very useful for commercial property searching and has some excellent features. We dealt with Sinead since booking the demo and she has proved to be very knowledgeable about the product and helped us quickly and efficiently every time we have required anything. Thanks

We use Nimbus maps almost daily in our search for investment and development properties. It has layers and layers of functionality which make it an invaluable tool.

Unclear with T&C's on renewal and don't inform you when your renewal is due so that they can tie you in for another year. No goodwill and just refer you to T&C's. Avoid or only pay for a monthly subscription

Financial conduct authority do not regulate nimbus maps. Be point fully aware of nimbus maps who may sign up on a free trial, will ask you to commit for one full whole year to sign a contract, and who's business it appears might not be substantial to FINANCIAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY. Yet I have not found this up their website at all. I say this due to unforseen circumstances, and as a matter of fact I've been threatened by the manager herself with lawsuits if I do not keep up substantial payments even while being in the free trial period and actually I used only as a consumer individual. I must say has NOT earned me anything during the free trial,when I once used this software, and even instead I am being treated like a business client. Be wary of unregulated companies who get you locked in on a subscription too etc. What's more, I am mum of a large young family, and am on a small amount of income each month, nimbus maps proposes to keep taking from me....and I've been told they cannot make me a full refund of money taken from the account that was pointful for my own family to feed. due to the software I'm very stressed out, with a little money on a shoe string budget.

Great platform with fantastic support. Recently had my renewal, spoke with them and got some great help with my requirements. Renewal was arranged with a few added extras and a trial of things I may need. All in all, a great service and response time. Help on hand that is human with a person touch. I took a while to find my way around the software and still get lost, but help is an email or call away always.

Our experience has been great. We utilise Nimbus platform to sense check our deal numbers which helps us to put forward our offers to vendors and agents with confidence. It is a valuable appraising tool (for estimated costs and returns) for our business and saves us substantial time and effort. Having an allocated accounts Manager Carly Igoe, with her support and understanding of our business needs has been invaluable for us. Where we had more complex technical queries, Paul Davis the Co-founder of Nimbus himself personally phoned to discuss and help clarify Nimbus appraisal methodology. I would rate this company as 5 star due to its customer focussed approach and the value you get for your money from the platform itself.
