The organizers went ahead when it was clear the weather was bad and there would be no show due to heavy rain. There was about 5 minutes of motorbikes and that's it. The rest was fluff like kiss-cam, interviews, etc. What's worse is the organizers and ticketek are refusing refunds even though people paid over $500 for a family to go. Never again and will be taking all involved to QCAT.

​The Nitro Circus ‘Off The Rails’ Experience at People First Stadium was not merely disappointing; it was a brazen display of corporate negligence and cynical money-grabbing. The event lived up to its name only in the sense that the entire production ran completely off the rails, leaving spectators soaked, sick, and robbed of their time and money.
​Negligent Management and Health Risk
​The central failure of this "experience" was the organizers' inexcusable refusal to heed clear weather warnings. Promoters had ample time to make a common-sense announcement to ticket holders, postponing the show by just 24 hours for the sake of safety. Their decision to proceed—putting performers at higher risk and subjecting ticket holders to dangerous conditions—was a cold calculation prioritizing profit over patron welfare. For those who traveled 500 kilometers and paid for multiple nights of accommodation, only to battle a severe cold and a returning asthma condition as a result, this lack of responsibility is nothing short of theft. We paid a premium price for a genuine health hazard.
​Bloated Prices, Painful Delays, and Pathetic Filler
​The high price point promised world-class, adrenaline-pumping action, yet what the audience received was the very definition of a washed-out train wreck. The opening 30 minutes were painstakingly boring, a desperate attempt to pad out the runtime. This quickly devolved into an insultingly amateur display when 45-minute technical delays brought the entire show to a standstill. These delays were "managed" with utterly pathetic filler: the DJ (Beat Box Billy) playing generic beats and organizers grabbing unsuspecting kids from the audience for impromptu, low-calibre dance moves. The lackluster compares, delivering relative BS, demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, serving only to highlight the absence of actual, high-quality entertainment. This ticket price was astronomical for what amounted to little more than backyard billy ard antics masquerading as an international spectacular.
​"People First" Stadium: A Cruel Irony
​The irony of the venue being named "People First Stadium" is sickening. If the organization genuinely wanted to demonstrate that people come first, why were patrons in open-to-the-sky seating left completely exposed to the elements? Both the venue and the Nitro Circus management bear responsibility. The organizers, specifically, could have mitigated the situation by providing complimentary rain protection—even cheap, lightweight plastic painting smocks that cost less than a dollar. The failure to do even this small gesture confirms that the entire operation was nothing but a full, greedy financial grab.
​The Nitro Circus claims promise of "adrenaline-pumping performances and jaw-dropping stunts" where "the impossible happens" are exposed as absolute bullshit. What actually happened was the utterly predictable: a poorly managed, overpriced, and negligent event that stole the spectators' money and health. Accountability is due, and refunds for this total shit show should be forthcoming.

I can't believe that they are allowed to get away with this. Purchased 8 tickets for myself and grandchildren, all we got for the money was 2 x 10min stints of a few bikes. The rest of the 3hrs was either total silence with no-one knowing what was happening or nearly an hours worth of some half wit with a microphone talking half of which you couldn't understand. Yes the weather was the reason for this, but the right thing to do would have been to cancel the event and refund tickets. Instead there was a stadium full of very upset children and parents who had spent a lot of money for nothing. Surely there must be laws regarding this type of situation with consumer affairs. Nothing but a bunch of theives.

Nitro Circus GC event at people first stadium was an absolute joke, does not and should not get any star rating. This event should have been postponed or cancelled as there was no show. All we did was sit in the middle of a storm listening to rubbish muffled commentary and watching the teams mop the ramps while it was raining, it wasn't lite rain,it was pouring. They started 30mins late and dribbling on and when there was some action it was maybe 10 mins and then they stopped, they went on more with the commentary that we could not understand had a break, after an hour went on again with the yelling and talking, we watched people run and slide on the ramps like a slip in slide, then throwing of a tire, oh and then they threw out some free t shirts, whoopdeedoo. When tricks started again which was only the motor bikes it was the same as what they just did before the break. We also had my neice and nephew with us as a treat for them which was a massive disappointment. This was so boring and frustrating, wet and miserable the organisers / Nitro Circus should give everyone at this event a refund, they chose not to postpone when they SHOULD have, they continued on with an event in a storm knowing they couldn't do much therefore this terrible so called event is on them and should do the right thing with fans / spectators. REFUND... tbh it was more exciting watching the sky light up.

Do not bother. We drove 500km to the Gold Coast to see this show.
A day or two before this event there were sever weather warnings even tornado 🌪️ warning and hail forecast for the Gold Coast and many other areas throughout the east coast.
We have been looking out for any announcements form the organisers and Nitro Circus… nothing.
Even hours before the event having severe lightning and thunderstorms with heavy rain they still went on to do the show. The only post they made before hand was on Facebook that they are monitoring the weather but the show is going ahead.
Few hours before the show the rain stopped and that was the only reason we attempted to go. (Our accommodation was only few minutes away the stadium)
The show started 30 minutes late with a lot of stupid and annoying unnecessary talk just to push the time out even more. One hour in we finally saw some motorbikes appear. We got about 8-10 minutes action and the rain started again. They said we are sorry but we need to wait with the stunts as the motorists safety comes first! That statement really annoyed and angered me. First of all you only care about the money. If you really cared about safety you would have cancelled the show all together as it was a 100% chance for rain , severe winds and lightning. They only care about to put any kinda of shit show on so they don’t have to issue refunds. They say they can’t control the weather. That is true… but you can listen to the sever weather warning beforehand. I can’t even believe that this event was allowed to be going ahead with all the weather warnings.
You should be ashamed of your ignorance and putting money before everyone else’s safety, even your Own stuntmen!

Very disappointed with the show on the Gold Coast. Several days of large scale severe weather warnings and large hail predictions, even for the night of the event. The show should have been cancelled, however they still attempted to proceed knowing they couldn’t do most of the stunts on wet ramps. The result was very minimal stunts, and only the motorbikes could perform. No skateboards, bike or other stunts were performed. Waited several hours for the “rain to pass”. Listened to terrible commentary for hours through muffled microphones which you couldn’t understand what was being said. Watched the staff squeegee the ramps most of the night rather than seeing stunts. More than half of the audience left after waiting hours for the show to continue. Bike stunts were repetitive. Too much time between stunts with boring commentary. Tickets weren’t cheap and the show was boring (or non existent for most of the night). Nitro Circus info states the show will go ahead even in the case of rain, but this is not the case. Wouldn’t recommend this show.

GOLD coast Show 2025 - absolutely a shit show, it should of been cancelled or postponed to another day not night. We had warning after warning about the severe supercell storm and weather that was coming and you still continued to take our money and go ahead with it for a show that literally went for 20mins of just motorbikes and fireworks, then for us to sit there while you guys take a break for 20mins after starting 30mins late to be told that there is a cell over us and to wait it out until 9pm in the rain for it to pass which it didnt. We left at 9.30pm as we had a 3hr drive home. You guys are money hungry and that show was just proof.

The organisers knew they would have to cancel because of rain. But they didn’t. We got 20 minutes if that of bike action. The rest was superfluous crap. Too much talking and yelling which you could not understand. Then we sat for an hour watching it rain before they cancelled it. If you can’t perform in rain and it is forecast rain, come clean cancel and issue refunds. A very expensive failure for families.

Wow the commentary was so loud and the yelling was not called for. You want hear the bikes jump nothing . The music and them screaming was terrible.
Tricks where cool but my son wanted to leave 15 minutes into it.

We went into the Nitro Circus event at Marvel Stadium with no particular expectations, but unfortunately left feeling underwhelmed. The show had the atmosphere of professional wrestling—overly staged and heavily scripted—which made the entire experience feel lethargic rather than high-energy.

The constant commentary and forced banter from the hosts often distracted from the stunts themselves, which should have been the real highlight. Instead of building excitement, it slowed the pace and diluted the impact of the performances.

While the athletes are clearly talented, the routines quickly became repetitive, with variations of the same tricks presented in long sequences. I had hoped for more variety, more genuine action, and less reliance on exaggerated theatrics and contrived rivalries.

In the end, the production leaned too heavily on scripted drama and not enough on showcasing the raw thrill of the stunts, leaving the event feeling flat rather than exhilarating.

Overpriced and honestly very disappointing. Repetitive stunts, long delays between each stunt and incredibly long delays to start the show when they advertised is was 6pm but didn't kick off until 7.30. Also if you're in the higher seating, expect to be ignored and invisible all night. No acknowledgement of any other sections where audience participation was concerned. All prizes and presentations happened on one section. Wouldn't recommend. Very underwhelming.

Really disappointing experience. The doors opened at 6:00 pm, but the show didn’t actually start until 7:30 pm, a long wait with restless kids. When it finally began, they were yelling nonstop into the microphones instead of focusing on the action. There were long waits between stunts, and not nearly enough of the exciting tricks we came to see. The music was also way too loud, especially considering how many children were in the audience.

After about an hour, we were so bored that we ended up leaving early. Overall, it felt disorganized, overly noisy, and missing the energy and thrill you’d expect from a Nitro Circus show.

The SEATED event was scheduled to start at 12pm. 12pm came and went and we were told we all had to stand up as they had 200 more people to come in. So basically due to pure greed they overbooked the event so much that it became a safety hazard. The overcrowding was unreal. My 4 year old could not see a thing because everyone was told to stand. My husband had to hold our son in his rooms for the full show. Wouldn't never have gone if we were told beforehand it would be a standing event. We paid for a seated event. Such false advertising also. Heavily marketed the event featuring the monster trucks. The monster trucks were on for a total of 10 minutes at the very end of the show. And all they done was drive up and down and drive over 3 cars. Wasn't worth the wait. The cherry on top was the captain America monster truck ( 1 of 2 monster trucks) broke 5 minutes into their part of the show and didn't even feature in the 4pm show. Wouldn't go again if you paid me. I will be getting a refund from eventbrite and will be telling everyone I know to avoid this! Also took us 40 minutes to get out of the carpark, no organisation to this event at all. There was many comments across all their social medias saying exactly as I am now and nitrostunt show has deleted the posts, deleted the comments and blocked me and many others. Very misleading at other families looking to book this event.

Way overpriced for what it is. Based off the pictures and ad I expected ramps and flips on bikes instead it was like a showcase basically driving up and down small section of the track. Few cool tricks but far too basic for how much you pay. We lost interest after 30 mins.

Wow, what a joke .I've been to well over 500 racing events and this BLOWS 1race 20-25 minutes grooming the track in between sucked announcers suck sense of humor so DRY. They suck u in for 3 hrs then race for 1hr for such a big name running this Show he's BLOWS ALSO. WHAT A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. DO GO IF U DO GET THETE AT 730

Purchased tickets. They canceled the event without notification. They aren't refunding tickets. No response on any social media platforms.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would! I purchased 5 tickets in November 2019 for a show scheduled for May 2020. Obviously it was postponed due to COVID and understandably so! Fast forward to September 2021, the THIRD postponement of the show! Nitro Circus, ALLOW refunds already! You’ve held my hard earned money hostage for way too long! What a bs experience and nightmare it’s been for everyone for over a year now but then to refuse to refund??? I hope a class action lawsuit gets slapped on this company and people get their money back. I’ll never support this company ever again!! Ps. Ticketmaster is just as bad for not assisting their customers!

This is a horribly run initiative, from the event coordination all the way down to the social media management.

They waited until late in the afternoon to announce that they would be postponing the show to later tonight. They didn't say what time, exactly. We've been under severe storm and flood warnings all day with horrible weather, yet they still refused to just cancel or postpone to another day. They actually had the nerve to instruct people to come to the venue, as planned, and wait in their cars!

Some people went ahead and went to the venue. Nitro circus social media was dead silent and everyone was left to speculate on whether the event would be called off for tonight, or not.

Eventually, after several hours and scouring the comments on the event page, I found out from a fellow customer that the show started at around 8:20 PM.

The start time was NEVER announced by Nitro Circus on their page. We had to find out what was going on from other people who attended. Now, because they chose to proceed (in the rain, mind you, and refuse to allow umbrellas??) we will not be given a refund.

I paid almost $200 for VIP tickets. For one thing, even for the people who went and sat at the venue to await word on a potential start time, there was absolutely NO VIP show. So, at the very least, a portion of all of our money should be refunded.
