I am perfectly happy with the service given so far. The materials arrived when expected and were very well packed.
The ony reason for only giving 4 stars is because I will only know that everything delivered is correct is when I come to install it. Weather permitting this will be done in the next week or two however, if temperatures take a downturn, I may decide to leave off until next spring.

We’re very sorry for the frustration caused by the delivery of your order. Unfortunately, we were severely let down by the courier on this occasion.
We dispatched your original order promptly, but when it became clear there was a problem with the delivery, we sent a replacement. When the courier then failed to deliver that shipment too, we sent the order for a third time using a different carrier, which thankfully arrived within 24 hours.
We completely understand your frustration at having to wait so long. We did everything we could from our side to get the products to you and kept in contact throughout, but appreciate that ultimately you just wanted your order to arrive when expected.
We’re pleased that you have now received your order, and sincerely hope that despite the difficulties with delivery, the products themselves prove worth the wait.

It is exactly what it is supposed to be, and arrived on time. Construction just finished, and relatively straightforward - not a one-man job though!

Quality, but not EasyBuild
I bought from Northern Polytunnels on the recommendation of two people who praised their quality and robustness. Now that my tunnel is built I am entirely satisfied. It is strong and functional.
However, the building process was difficult. EasyBuild this is not. The instructions are sometimes hard to follow and need to be rewritten from the point of view of someone who has never built one before. Most of the many component packs are labelled, but I had several with no label at all, so was left to
try to figure out what they were for. And twice I had to call NP because I had missing parts.
When you call the staff are very helpful, but it should have been right first time. Hence 3 stars, when I would have liked to have been able to give 5.

From pre-order enquiries through to post delivery questions the customer service was exceptional. I’m an absolute amateur at this and they used terms I could understand. Delivery was convenient and the product was very well packaged. The polytunnel itself is excellent quality and was genuinely easy to build (after watching the video a lot and working out what all the bits were). It took me and another unskilled “volunteer” pretty much a day to construct and it is solid. I’ve been able to achieve a build that the allotment elders declared “a very professional job”

Super helpful & Great product
Super helpful, great poly tunnel which my horses love & quick delivery. Also really responsive when I ordered the wrong size: changed and reimbursed the balance without quibble. The poly tunnel has been up for the best part of a year so been through a wet and windy winter and heatwaves. So glad I ordered (a fried had already got it and used it so it was on a recommendation).

It took 2 weeks for the plastic to…
It took 2 weeks for the plastic to arrive. One roll was a bit short, the other too long, both were heavily creased. Delivery was made only once I'd chased it up, communication perfunctory. Previous service has been good.

At the time, we were dealing with some short-term disruption in the supply chain for polythene which unfortunately affected lead times and availability on certain cover sizes. That issue has since been resolved, but we appreciate that doesn’t make the delay and communication any less frustrating in your case.
We do genuinely appreciate your past support and your acknowledgement that previous service has been good. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide the level of service you’ve come to expect from us again in future.

Top notch quality
Nearly four years ago, we bought a “rugged” polytunnel, which had sturdier hoop metalwork, as we are at the junction of two valleys that get hammered by gales from time to time. The tunnel was easy to construct owing to the clear instructions and on-line videos. It has proved resilient and the temperature gain inside has been impressive, given our location. Our lettuce crops in April and our onions have just been pulled in May. We opted for a single set of vents plus a front double and rear single door but in high summer a set of vents on the other side would be optimal.
All round we consider getting and assembling our polytunnel has been our most rewarding investment re consistent crop production.
