What an awful company with an absolute complete lack of customer service. Ordered a gift card (which was supposed to be delivered yesterday) as a present for a child but received no confirmation email. The payment is stuck on Pending on my bank account. Phoned them today but was told that I need to fill in some form. After insisting that I wanted to speak to a human I was given a phone number for the gift card department. They didn't have a clue. They didn't have my order, didn't recognise my email or name that I used to place the order. They then told me to contact my bank to "let them release the money." What? I shouldn't need to contact my bank to release the money. I couldn't cancel the order as they had no order details. Useless and diabolical. Avoid!

I am a limitless member and I went to see a movie on the 11/07/25 with my friend. 12/07 - i received an email from Odeon to say that i did not attend and if i miss some more they will apply restrictions. This is ridiculous looks like they scanner is not working properly.
Booked via mobile - defaulted to next available day - not the one I wanted
I am editing this review because the issue was fixed with no gaslighting or pushback by a lovely gentleman very quickly.
Careful selecting the date if booking on the Mobile site, it may book you on the wrong day and you can't tell as as you have to scroll down the page to select screen time (so you don't know the day is wrong). The online process to get a refund as a guest didn’t work either. Once the phone lines opened the following day the entire amount - including the booking fee was refunded with no fuss.

Website is so useful to genuine website designers because it sits as a continual example of how awful a website can be. They really don't care how it fails to serve customers. Hello Everyman. Hello PictureHouse.
MyLimitless Cancellation not Ideal
The MyLimitless email cancellation form was ignored even when valid and followed exactly and charging continued. The app chatbot was then clueless on top as only knows to keep asking to fill in the form.
What does work is the online help 9-5 Monday to Friday - asking the chatbot to give up and pass you to a human. Surprisingly fast and efficient and a refund processed for the historic failure to cancel. I'm back where I should be financially and the CS guy was excellent when I had found the way - but the original hassle was still very unwelcome.
Odeon Derby
Very comfy reclining seats with individual tables and lots of room in front of you. The rooms aren't crowded and the quality of the films is what you'd expect at a cinema, brilliant. Unfortunately the place is always cold, regardless of the weather outside its always freezing when I've visited and a jacket has been needed. The price of the tickets and beverages is ridiculously high and you feel massively overcharged however the limitless annual membership is good value for money and worth it if you visit more than once a month.

Odeon Leicester and Odeon Loughborough have lovely polite friendly staff who are always there to help if need be. They’re both great cinemas.
Tried booking on odeon in a busy day
Tried booking on odeon in a busy cinema. Prevented from booking seats I wanted as I didn't want to sit next to anyone and there's no large sections that are not booked. Tried booking sitting behind a booked seat in the same position and was prevented. Along with the expense and the forced guidance to seats online which gets in the way of booking leave a disgusting taste and makes me not want to go see the film, which should be a bit of an event.
Failed Upgrade
I have had a limitless card for 13 years. The last few years have been nothing but poor to say the least. Prices going up all the time pay extra for items that used to be included. The website and the APP are useless always freeze or don't respond. Whoopee you can upgrade online now until the payment is set up then everything froze. I don't know it it worked or not. Tried to phone cant be bothered to sit and listen to the same recorded message time after time.

Never buy someone a gift card for the Odeon, unless you hate that person and want to make their life a living hell!!!! It's a stressful experience. The voucher that was bought for me had expired before the purchase date. A gift card was purchased for me in November 2024, this gift card had expired in 2022. It is now 2025 and the voucher is still useless and doesn't work. After a lot of stress trying to get this sorted, I was given a new gift card number by Chloe. I thought brilliant! I've got the help I needed. It's not great! I have tried to book Jurassic World: rebirth. It still doesn't work. New complaint sent to the Odeon!!
Unable to cancel limitless membership
I emailed on 2nd June to cancel my limitless membership and I still haven’t had any response from Odeon other than an automated email to say they’re busier than normal - another months payment has now come out. Beware taking out this membership - it’s really easy to start it but near impossible to cancel.
Odeon - sort this out! If you’re running a subscription service you shouldn’t make it this difficult for your customers to cancel it.

Price - it is crazy to think vue chargers £5 and Odeon charges £16.
I bought vouchers through work to get a Discount. When the only seats that were together (Standard plus) I had to pay an extra £1 a seat then £2 booking charge. The voucher didn't cover this additional cost. We paid 3 adults and 3 kids, nearly £60! and that was with discount.
Seat I sat in was very narrow ( I am tall medium build and found it narrow) Seat swung backwardly so my 3 year old kept having to re adjust. The chairs were ripped and very hard to sit on.
Kids food option was good, screen was good but the price and the conditions withing the cinema were very poor.

I submitted the form which gave the SLA of 10 days. it's been 16 days, and I haven't received any response, and of course they took the money for the next month.
They also had the audacity to send an email stating that "they have higher that usual volume of requests".
No idea how to cancel it; maybe some pre-court action would make them react.
Sweltering heat, terrible customer service
Sweltering heat. Our chocolate had literally melted by about 30 minutes in. Near 20 quid a ticket for IMAX showing but was so hot couldnt enjoy the film. Eventually went out to complain and was told they would turn the AC on. Someone walking by overheard the conversation and he said to me and the staff member that he had to come out for air and had also complained.

Can’t believe they can operate like that. Customer service is non-existent and they even closed their phone lines. I tried booking tickets for me and my daughter a couple of times online and they both failed, but they still charged my card. Avoid at all costs!
