I’m extremely frustrated with this United One Bank Their infrastructure is severely outdated
OMG It’s as if I went back in time before there were computers I mean back to the Horse & Buggy Days I have five or six different Bank Accounts and One United is the worse as far as moving money around due to United has created a sever BOTTLE NECK due to their Snell Pace . I was once very proud to be apart of this Bank But I can plainly see they don’t care about Us

Fantastic banking experience

My experience with One United when communicating any problem is always one that is handled in the most professional and human (yes human interaction in this day and age) way!
I always recommend One United Bank to my friends any time they ask ne whom I bank with.

Customer service is excellent…

Customer service is excellent and they are providing a well needed community service. The app is easy to use and banking is no problem. I’d love the fact that whenever there’s an issue, please send me a text message or give me a call. Thank you.

Release my funds

I have yet to receive an email or phone call I done my application on January 30th 2026 they took the $50 and holding it for 2 days and I guess them days haven’t came yet. I just want them to release my funds and I’ll stick with the bank I have. Wanted to try something different and this is the treatment that I get, also I forgot to mention when I go to the website and chat with the bot it only ask for your birthday last four of social and I believe the address of something but after that it’s nothing so it’s literally no help at all. Can’t get through to them on the phone when you press 1 to receive a call back but keep your spot I never received that call so is this bank a scam or something. PISSED

Thank you for your feedback. When you authorized your opening deposit, the funds were placed on a temporary authorization hold while we reviewed your application. If an application is not approved, we immediately cancel the authorization so your full deposit can be released. However, your bank may take a few days to remove the hold.
You can contact your bank to help speed up the release of your funds.

The bank is trash

The bank is trash . Going back to normal bank. It's not interested in protecting clients funds and they don't care about us. I can do better. Black people beware it's not worth the energy

Thank you for your review. While we strive to provide excellent service and support to our community, we understand that you may choose to transition your banking relationship to another institution.

Per our Deposit Account Agreement, the Bank reserves the right to close a customer’s deposit account or terminate associated services at any time, without advance notice. If you choose to close the account yourself, the most efficient method is to withdraw the remaining balance via ATM, debit card, or our online funds transfer service. Once the balance reaches zero and all pending transactions have posted, you may contact us to finalize the closure.

This bank is HORRIBLE

This bank is HORRIBLE! I would not recommend you banking with them and please don’t sign up for direct deposit. I wanted to support them, BIG mistake. I just decided to try them out with a small deposit. I NEVER received my debit card which they boasted about. I closed out my account and still haven’t received my money. I did receive a letter stating I closed my account. Why not include my check in there? This bank is a joke and should be shut down immediately!

Instant Access: A digital card is provided within 24 hours of approval. You can activate this for mobile wallets (Apple/Google Pay) via the OneUnited Bank app. This digital version is active for 21 days.

Standard Mail: Physical cards typically arrive within 7–10 business days (up to 14 days maximum).

Account Balances: Rest assured that for any closed accounts, we issue a closeout check for the remaining balance.

On the Unity secured card

On the Unity secured card , there is no mobile app, the card can’t be linked to the one United website, and making payments are hard, I know that it’s a great reason for this , because one United Bank is a great smart bank , but what is the reason behind this .

OneUnited Bank is a good bank

OneUnited Bank is a good bank, but it has so many high fees. If your account goes negative, they don’t give you a day or two to pay before they charge you $37
