Happy with everything except...

Really happy with the entire process and end product. The only downside was that the order came from Australia, and I’d specifically checked through your website to see where delivery was from. Nowhere is Australia mentioned; in fact NZ Post is mentioned in the shipping section, but nothing about Australia Post (the main carrier). There’s even a Wellington address and NZ phone number. I didn’t want to wait for shipping from overseas.

Waited months for delivery, when arrived was wrong script. Do not use. Terrible.

I am extremely sorry for the delivery of your glasses and on receipt it did not seem to have the correct prescription.

I understand that we had delays in processing orders however the delay was not more than 2 weeks of the initial promised time frame. As per your email conversation I also see that you were informed that owing to the COVID-19 your order will take additional time to be processed as the lenses had to be sourced. The order was processed only after we received a confirmation from you.

I am sorry to know that after the long wait the glasses received were not suitable however all orders are shipped after stringent quality checks to ensure glasses as made as requested. Its been 2 months since your glasses were delivered to you and we never received any communication from you regarding a issue with the glasses until now. We would have surely offered you a satisfactory resolution to ensure you are not inconvenienced due to an error from our end. We are the only online supplier that offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all orders, all one needs to do is contact our support team to discuss available options.

As you are facing a issue with the glasses you can return them to be remade and rule out any lens fault or you can opt for a refund, kindly email us at support@optically.co.nz and a member of our team will assist you further.

Purchased glasses at the end of covid…

Purchased glasses at the end of covid lockdown for mum. They did take alot longer (nearly 2 months rather than 2 weeks as advertised) to arrive due to them being complex lenses which had to come from Australia. However when they did arrive they fit great, look great, are high quality and the price for transitional with blue light protection and premium lenses was unbeatable.

Happy with the glasses but delivery was very slow

I'm happy with the glasses but delivery took a lot longer than expected. Previously I've ordered from Zenni in Hong Kong and their delivery was much quicker than you were able to manage. If your website had been more realistic with its promised delivery times, I would have known what to expect and not been disappointed.

I am sorry I didn't read reviews before I ordered my glasses. I ordered and paid for them and expected them within 14 days as their website promised. After 21 days and still nothing I contacted them and they said the frame I chose was out of stock. I couldn't find another suitable frame so they promised to refund my money within 3-5 days. A month later and no refund and they are not answering my emails or phone call I am very, very disappointed and frustrated :-( ;-( SO within one day of posting this review I got my money back in full :-)

Shocking service

Shocking service. almost 6 weeks since I first placed my order and the lenses haven't even arrived at the lab. I need to chase them up to get any updates, and the timeframes keep getting extended. I understand delays due to Covid, but this does not excuse 6 weeks and poor communication. Have requested a full refund.

Really wish I had read the reviews…

Really wish I had read the reviews before ordering. It has been 2 weeks since I ordered and I have heard nothing from them despite several emails. They claimed shipping in 48 hours and regular updates but I have received neither. Please if you read this take do take the risk ordering from a company that doesn't value it's customers.

I am sorry to know that you have not received your glasses yet. As mentioned most of the orders with simple prescription are dispatched within 48 hours, as per our records your order placed on 01st May was dispatched on 04th May.

I wish to get to your attention that "we are experiencing considerable delays in shipments being delivered. Our delivery partners are busy trying to clear backlogs and currently facing delays of 2-4 weeks", which could be a reason that you have still not received your glasses and this is stated on our website as well to ensure customers are aware about the delay and expect deliveries accordingly.

If you have not received the glasses and do not wish to wait any longer we can process a full refund for your order as we offer 100% customer satisfaction. Unfortunately I broke the frame on my…

Unfortunately I broke the frame on my glasses during the week before Christmas. I managed to send a replacement frame and a script off before Christmas and was delighted to receive them back 2 weeks later. Will definitely use again.

My first frames weren't available but…

My first frames weren't available but it took 3 plus weeks to let me know that. They were still showing on the website at that time. So I chose some new ones and asked if they could be prioritised but it still took about 4 more weeks before they arrived. I was happy with them once I received them but the whole process took too long. On the plus side, once I got hold of someone at Optically by phone, they did follow up with several emails letting me know what was happening.

I Would Not Recommend Optically

From my experience, Optically I feel has no right to operate on the New Zealand internet like it is a NZ based company when all they are is an offshore business with a New Zealand web address and forwarding address, 1//Optically claimed that they had never received my frames that I had posted to there Wellington NZ address, fortunately, I had used track and trace,2// Then they clamed I had not sent my prescription for my eyesight WRONG.3// It took 3 months from when the order was made to the time I received my glasses back which were damaged with a dislocated hinge that Optically claimed I had sent them in this damaged condition. I had to take them to my optician to get them to fix the dislocated hing. All of this took mutable emails plus phone calls to there helpline each time with hollow promises that included weak excuses from them never receiving the frames to no prescription to damage then telling me they did not have the lenses. I have all the correspondence plus photo of the dislocated hinge.
