It is very difficult and time consuming to contact a human at Oxbury Bank. I am unable to deregister the mobile associated with my account. Th app keeps asking me to login for the Recovery but never logs in.

Very easy to open an account. The phone app/online web site are very intuitive and easy to navigate. It also feels good knowing your money is being put to good use while invested.

Oxbury Bank Easy Access Bonus Rate Summer Saver 1 - this was only on sale for a few days, thankyou to Money Saving Expert for listing this account - great interest rate until 24th December when I will move my money out and close this account!

Very easy process to apply and open account, good app with a few easily fixed limitations:

You can only have one nominated account to send withdrawals to, I can live with this but it would be good to be able to withdraw to numerous accounts.

On log in, and when making payments out, the app presents a customer intervention to "Authenticate" before requiring a PIN number input, this "Authenticate" step is unnecessary, the app could go straight to "Authenticate with PIN number" - please update your app.

Simple process, good customer service

I opened a fixed rate bond very easily with a competitive rate of interest. I can access my account via the App on my phone or online, which I like.

Site was easy to use. Good communication.

I managed to set up the account quite quickly and the instructions were clear.

App very easy to use. No fuss to open account and send instruction to redeem fixed rate bond. Recommend.

All good. Mostly kindness and understanding with/from staff on account of my limited IT skills and lack of knowledge. They were very patient!

Terrible experience.
My wife and I applied at the same time. Her account was opened almost immediately, but I have been waiting for five days with no account and no explanation.
The bank asked for additional ID documents. I uploaded them straight away and received confirmation that they had been received. Since then, complete silence.
Customer service is extremely poor, communication is almost non-existent, and the whole application process is slow and frustrating. Opening a simple savings account should not be this difficult.
I would not recommend this bank based on my experience.

It is always reassuring to be able to write a positive review of a bank after having had so many CS issues with others over the years. I recently opened an easy access savings account with Oxbury Bank which pays a really great rate of 5.01% for 6 months. You will need a smart phone and another device(eg laptop etc) to get the account running. I found the process relatively easy compared to some banks; no scanning of id documents or any such unnecessary hoops like that to jump through. After opening funding/withdrawals are conducted from the phone app via a designated linked account. I did a couple of small payments and withdrawals to "test" the system and it worked perfectly. The app is easy to use and is clear with a large keypad for pin numbers and other inputs(particularly attractive to the older generations).You need to learn to navigate around the app for best effect but it is quite straight forward. Paying in is pretty much instant but be aware withdrawals need to be made prior to 1pm to be in your linked account that day. Well done Oxbury Bank.

Could not open an easy access account because as a customer I'm not eligible only for newbies some banks reward loyalty this one doesn't.
