Poly-Blend Turtleneck
An absolute disaster for the modern, high-tech shadow operative.
I purchased this garment specifically to blend into the shadows of the local museum during my midnight acquisition of a rare, priceless artefact (a limited-edition comic book).
The initial fit was impeccable, lending me the menacing silhouette of a global mastermind. However, after one cycle through my mother’s washing machine, the fabric shrank aggressively. When I put it on for the heist, the collar was so tight it restricted oxygen flow to my brain.
This is the only scientific explanation for why I forgot to disable the pressure-sensitive floor tiles.
Furthermore, the fabric is a cheap synthetic blend. As I was crawling through the laser grid, the friction caused an intense static buildup. When I finally reached for the display case, a massive spark shot out of my finger, short-circuiting the museum's entire grid and immediately setting off the fire alarms.
To make matters worse, the shrinkage turned it into a midriff-baring crop top. Do you know how difficult it is to maintain an aura of terror when the police arrive and you are stuck in a laser grid with your belly button showing?
Two stars. I am currently drafting a very sternly worded lawsuit from my cell.

We must respectfully deny all allegations regarding failed museum operations, exposed midriffs, or comic-related incarcerations. Our knitwear is designed for comfort, not covert espionage. That said, we do recommend following the care label before attempting any future laser-grid manoeuvres. Wishing you a speedy release and slightly less dramatic laundry results next time.
