access denied to the PMI exam
I had paid and booked for a PMI certification exam on last 6th July but their platform didn't allow me to complete the loading of my photos in order to access to the exam. I pais almost 500 euros and i inmmediately wrote them on the help desk, receiving the answer they had opened a case number and they would have given an update in few days. I insisted calling them and an Indian agent, in a terrible English,answered me mentioning the possibility to have a voucher. Nowadays I'm still waiting for their answer via email and for the voucher. I have to reschedule my exam (in the meantime it will be changed with new topics and I should integrate my studies...) and I'm waiting for the voucher before spending twice....

I have no choice but to go through Pearson Vue for my professional licensing exam, as that is the only testing center used by the professional organization that manages licenses in my field. I receive disability accommodations for testing, and have previously dealt with Pearson Vue for my initial license; during that first experience in 2022-2023, I experienced NO issues at all. It was simple to schedule and even reschedule my test by contacting the company by phone. Now, in 2026, the experience has completely changed. I was initially told to use an online form to schedule with Pearson Vue, and after submitting it twice within a two week period, I assumed that the form link must have been broken, as no one ever responded. Then I tried calling using the phone number in the scheduling email; I called multiple times and each time waited for over 30 minutes for someone to answer, and no one ever did. I resorted to contacting my professional licensing organization to figure out how to proceed. I have now been back and forth between Pearson Vue and my professional licensing organization by email OVER and OVER again; each time my licensing organization contacted Pearson Vue, I would get a response within the hour. However, Pearson Vue did not take into account my indicated needs for scheduling based on the limitations of my work schedule ~ I said the same thing over and over again, and they disregarded that, offering me days of the week for testing that were outside of my clearly indicated parameters. Each time I declined a testing day that was not on the day of the week I need, they tossed me back into the cue, and this process has been continuing for WEEKS at this point.
If I did not have testing accommodations, it seems that I could simply select a date from an online scheduling system and be done. This absurd process so far has been beyond frustrating, and something has gone WAY downhill with Pearson Vue. Finally today after contacting my professional organization AGAIN, I got an offer that met my parameters, and was told to CALL by phone to confirm... which I attempted to do, but again, I waited 30 minutes without anyone ever answering the call, so I have attempted to confirm by email.
What is even more frustrating is that my offered testing date is more than FIVE months away. By that time it will have been nearly a year since I started the process of submitting my materials for this licensure test. What a racket!!! At this point, I can't WAIT to pass this test and never have to engage with Pearson Vue ever again. They are the absolute worst.

Terrible company I wish they would close down or someone would come and erase them as competition it would be so easy. They do not care about anyone or anything at all. They are the slowest most incompetent useless customer service representatives. They are all inside some foreign call center where you can hear 100 conversations going on in the background.
Terrible customer service
The absolute worst customer service I have ever had concerning exam booking. Booked a Microsoft exam through them back in February only for it to be cancelled for no reason - And I was NOT refunded. After going back and forth with their customer service, with whom I was passed back and forth to multiple people on almost every email and who all claimed my account with them apparently didn't exist, I gave up. I've tried booking another exam and am currently having the same struggle with the customer service team to see if this exam will get cancelled, why the last one was, and if I'm ever getting my money back any time soon for an exam that I didn't ever get to take and certainly did not cancel on my end. Can't believe Microsoft still partners with them.

Horrible customer service. Horrible program. If you can avoid working with Pearson Vue, AVOID them like the plague. They blame customers. They don't solve anything. Their program is awful and they take your money and then jerk you around even when you follow the "rules" as they lay it out.

They say to check in 30 minutes before, but they let you wait 1h and just after 1 hour they will ask to you to reschedule!

Just trying to get a date for maine Real estate law exam. Most user UNFRIENDLY system I've ever encountered. Ridiculous. Chat is a joke. Can't get anyone on the phone.

It’s beyond me that a company like this could be used by Microsoft for its exam certification! Ugly, unstructured, weak and misleading information, confusion throughout the process. And of course, an added stress for someone who is already stressed to take the exam. Bad Indian accent, rude customer service, and complete disregard to exam taker at a critical testing point! I actually think that Microsoft should be blamed for this as they have to quality ensure partners, and here they fully delegate the responsibility of certification to a company rated 1 star, only because there’s nothing less than one star to give, like ZERO. Microsoft should immediately take care of this and settle people’s claims. You can not be a prominent company that cooperate with thieves and less than desirable partners.

صارت لي تجربة جدًا سيئة مع Pearson VUE في اختبار الـ PMP. بدأت الاختبار أونلاين، وبعد أقل من دقيقة النظام فصل عليّ وأنا ما جاوبت إلا ثلاثة أسئلة. بعدها قالوا إني “طلعت من الكاميرا”، وهذا شيء مستحيل يصير في هالوقت القصير. ما أعطوني أي دليل، ولا صورة، ولا حتى لقطة من الفيديو… وكل ردودهم كانت نسخ مكررة بدون أي توضيح.
دفعت فلوسي، وضعت وقتي، وفي النهاية خسرت الاختبار بسبب خطأ تقني من عندهم، مو مني. بصراحة تجربة غير مرضية أبدًا.

Very bad
Very bad - during the exam I've got a 5 min warning the exam will finish. But to my surprise, the 5 min warning box did not close, waisting my remaining time, and had 2 questions left to answer. The agent behind did not help me within the 5 min remaining, thus screen froze.Even when relaunch the exam as per agent guidance, I have waiting for 2 hours to for my exam to resume. I have the feeling I will be still waiting. Surprised Microsoft is still using them since the service is so bad. The agents I have called to help me restart my exam were outside, limited English and not helpful at all.

They are so bad. Broken english at best with their fake English names that they are not even able to spell correctly. Wiliam. Goodness. Nothing but detest for that org.

If I could give them a zero stars I would. The software is buggy, the proctor validation is absolutely horrible and customer service is terrible with very limited English comprehension. I attempted to log in a good hour prior to testing, knowing from my previous experiences that it would take more than the suggested 30 minutes to get through their hurdles. The software fails to execute, and the validation process is goofy. Mind you, I'm using a brand new Windows 11 computer that runs beautifully. The combination of the website and buggy software is horrible.
Absolute Shambles
We are demented trying to chase down a new starter's certificate. It's like asking for the moon. I have all information but nobody can help. Comms are not joined up, teams are unhelpful and this is not helping the new starter's confidence.

I would give zero stars if I could. Absolute shambles from start to finish. Microsoft use them as their exam facilitator, which is mental at the Pearson Vue UI looks like it was designed in the 80s and was incredibly difficult to navigate. The customer service is as bad as literally smashing your face into a brick wall. All the companies that use Pearson Vue please stop! They are a disgrace to the industry.
How are they even profitable!!
Zero operational excellence . Not sure if they only have a handful of associates or if they are all working. Long hours waiting for someone to pick up the phone. When they do, they have no idea what they are doing. I was give the run around calling 5 different numbers the associates indicated could solve my problem. After a week (yes a whole week) I got to the right person and when it came time to pay, they payments department made us wait for an additional hour!! To add insult to injury, my selected date was gone!!!!The problem is that this company has no competition (or none that is available in my area), so they know you HAVE to go through them. Through in some competitor that is actually competent and see they improve

They make it extremely difficult to terminate the account . They will continue charging your account even after calling them to end your subscription. They inform you that you must login to your account in order to cancel even if you’ve never used their site to make payment. You may not have a way to login!

State alla lontana da Pearson ed affidatevi ad altri enti. Macchinosi, spocchiosi, maleducati. Due ore prima dell'esame per preparare il sistema che loro pretendono, arrivato all'orario dell'esame problemi continui e di diversa natura. Due operatori collegati consecutivamente che in inglese non "pulito" ma con sfumature marcate indiane che mettono in difficoltà nella comprensione chi deve sostenere l'esame ( gli esaminatori collegati si collegano sempre dall'India perché Pearson li paga a buon mercato). Totale dopo le prove con gli esaminatori 5 ore al PC per provare a sostenere l'esame, per poi vedersi inviare una schermata che annullava tutto , esame saltato. State alla lontana da questa gente

Pearson Vue seems to be a monopoly which is why they can get away with such terrible customer service.
Edit: I just want to say most of the customer's issues regarding payment could be solved if they used a better payment processor, and allowing different payment methods such as using Google Pay, Paypal, Apple pay etc as their payment processor doesn't accept some cards for some weird reason.
