Just picked up a new to me Mercedes E400 estate from Phantom with the help from Amir from the sales team. Amir has been extremely helpful from the first message I sent through to the handover of keys with some nice little extra touches like a bottle of wine, brolly and some cherished plates! This has by far been the best experience I've had when purchasing a new car.
I would highly recommend both the garage and Amir if you are on the look out for your next car. I will no doubt be a returning customer in the future.

Where do I start. Me and my husband bought our range rover svr from phantom in 2024 and had no issues with it at all. We absolutely loved the car it was my pride and joy. As we only keep cars for around 2yrs we decided to go back to phantom and see what they had in stock. We then found a beautiful rsq8 which of course we had to buy. We dealt with Gary all the way though and he was brilliant cant fault him at all. We have just picked it up today and we are so pleased with our purchase. We will definitely be back in the future as we wont shop anywhere else.

Alistair and phantom where amazing. There showroom was amazing to walk around, and the service and delivery of my new car was second to non. I can hand on Heart say I have never recieved such good service before. I would highly recommend them. Upon inspecting my potential new car I highlited a few kerb marks on the car and a stone chip in the bonnet. They set out and fixed all the issues. The car was immaculate upon collection.

Bought a car here having travelled from Sheffield and the customer service is second to none. They prepared the car for me for a weekend pickup as I am busy during the week and were attentive throughout the process.

What can I say about Phantom Motors, other than amazing. There attention to details and passion for what they do is rare to find. I want to share my experience with Phantom Motor Company in hopes it helps someone else avoid what I went through. Honestly, it’s been one of the most frustrating car purchasing experiences I’ve ever had.

It all started when I arrived to pick up my car. I had an appointment, but I ended up waiting for hours because the car wasn’t ready! It was so disheartening to see them completely unprepared. You’d think with a scheduled collection, they’d have everything in order, but that wasn’t the case.

The situation got even worse when I found out about an unexpected admin fee. Their website clearly states there’s no fee for Autotrader customers, yet when I went to finalise my payment, they slipped an admin fee onto my bill. When I questioned it, they referred to it as a "prep fee," claiming that Autotrader dislikes admin fees. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch.

Once I finally drove off with my car, the troubles didn’t end there. Just 30 minutes into my drive home, the oil light and tyre pressure warning lit up. I couldn’t believe it when I had to put in a full litre of oil, especially since they had supposedly serviced the car that very day. This, of course, was why I had to wait so long for pickup.

Things continued to spiral. When I got home, I discovered that the USB ports didn’t work at all. This led to endless phone calls with Phantom and their warranty company—about 20 calls! Can you imagine the frustration?

I decided it was time to have the car professionally checked out. To my dismay, I found that the rear exhaust mount was completely broken; the exhaust was held up by a jubilee clip, and the midsection mount was missing entirely. I informed Phantom about this as well, but it’s still unresolved.

I even went so far as to ask for the general manager to call me—he never did. It’s incredibly frustrating to feel ignored when all I wanted was to get things sorted out. I sent a detailed complaint email, but that, too, went into the void.

Looking back, I wish I had noticed the warning signs. During my pickup, I could see another customer getting upset over having to return a car and losing money in the process. I thought it was just a one-off situation, but clearly, it wasn’t.

In short, I urge anyone considering Phantom Motor Company to think twice. The beautiful website and shiny showroom may be appealing, but their customer service and post-sale support are severely lacking. They’re not accredited by the Motor Ombudsman, and my experience clearly shows they don’t take accountability for their vehicles. Proceed with caution!

Didn't realise the date and Ava and Elle were amazing again, booked me in at short notice for yesterday and made sure the MOT station got to my car straight away whilst I waited.
