I’m an amateur computer guy an old man my wife died last year. She left me 38 journals of about 40 years of her life and I want to abridged them and I’m I have most of them into Photomyne and just about ready to connect them to my new Gemini pro app where I can finish the arrangement. I’m thankful for Photomyne and get my fingers crossed that I’ll be able to figure it all out that is all.

I’ve been using Photomyne for many years and have scanned many old family photos.
The folders are useful and yesterday it didn’t take me long to find a photo for another family member who described it.
The ability to scan old photos to high quality is excellent, though it does take a long time.
Using the colourisation can be hit or miss, especially when the photo is showing its age.
It would be great to have an inbuilt touch up screen to manually fix the photos.

It is so easy and the quality that scans is incredible, photomyne has given my family the possibility to have a huge library than my mother created for many years in our pocket with our phone, how it saves them to the iphone library it is wonderful!! Love it totaly worth it

My mother died recently. I needed something to help me scan photographs quickly and create a way to organize all 200 photos into a timeline slideshow.
I found the Photomyne app and loaded it onto my iPhone 16e.
The app is amazing. It takes great-quality digital photos of whatever photo you have. In addition, it has features that allow you to tweak your photo, such as adjusting the lightness and sharpness and even colorizing it. It also allows you to sort them into separate albums for organization purposes. It also offers you a tool that uses AI to optimize the photo of choice for a very small AI credit fee. It works wonders most of the time.
I have scanned now over 300 photos. If I were trying to do this with my flatbed scanner, it would have taken me forever by the time I had to open each in another app on pc and organize.
This is by far the best app I have ever used on my phone. I plan to continue using it for the thousands of other photos I have. It’s quick, so sometimes when I have a moment, I will snap a few just to try and knock off a few more.

The only couple of issues I have had were that I accidentally deleted one of my albums, and there was no direct way to recover it on the app, so I had to get support to retrieve it. The other thing is, if the photo is rather blurry, when you try to sharpen a face, it can give you funny results, and there is no way to go back to the original photo. You have to delete it and take it again.

We finally got old family photos and Photomyne kept on popping up on Facebook. I decided to give it a try and have been totally amazed at what can be done with this app.

The photo restoration is one of the best. My son who is 44 now had a picture of.him and his girlfriend that they laughed at all of the tries to restore. They were 14 when it was taken. I used this app to restore it and then grok. It came out perfectly.

This app has made it so easy to scan photos from old photo albums and keep them organized - I did an entire album so fast!! And mind you, these albums are from the 80s and earlier when people took pictures of every single thing on the planet so not small! And every page had like 6 pictures - the app separated them really well and bam! Done! And they look even better in the app than they do in the album!!

Easy to use, scans multiple photos at once, allows you to add a note to each photo if desired and easy to organize once scanned. We had over 2,000 old family photos, and this app made the job easy and relatively quick. We had spent hundreds on a Cannon Photo scanner and it was horrible, photos scanned blurry, bad cropping, tilted, etc >> this app saved me from going crazy trying to use the 'professional scanner'. We use Android and did the yearly paid version-- absolutely worth it.

After my dad passed away, we found 24 photo albums. Because we don’t want to store that many albums. I have started digitizing all of the photos. It’s an ongoing process, but Photomyne has made it much easier. So far I finished one album so it’s going to be a long process. I would really recommend Photomyne too quickly and easily digitize your photos with details about times and places. My mother wrote on the back of all the pictures so it is nice to be able to scan the back of the picture onto the front of the original. The restore option works relatively well however, sometimes I have to do a second restore to get the right quality. Other than that all features work really well.

I had many photo
albums full of pictures. It was so very easy to scan them into Photomyne albums on my I-pad. It was fast, efficient and restored old photos to look like they were just taken.

Great quality and affordable method for digitizing slides! I got nearly 1,000 slides digitized and saved quickly without paying the high dollar amount for mailing the slides to a company for digitizing. The color correct feature was nice for a couple of slides that were overexposed.

I love this site. And, I am amazed at how well old photos from the 1930s-1950s clean up- fading is restored to look like the original. you can sharpen the photo and add color to black and white pics. I use this site to restore old photos and make new albums.

This program is amazing and always improving. Having the ability to easily scan photos and documents with the phone in your hands. The scanned photos come out sharply and can even be cropped or improved if you want. This is a very excellent product.

Photomyne enables me to digitize photos and sort them any way I want: by favorites, by the individual(s) in the photos, by location, whatever. I can also crop the photos to zoom in on the details that are most important to me. It's an excellent service. Thank you photomyne!

I have 10 pre-digital picture era albums. Was drudgingly pulling out pictures and scanning them in on my trusty, but slow scanner. Then, and I have no idea how (but scary) a reel came up on FB about this app. OMG. It actually does what it says! One album page at a time, less than a minute (I quickly learned to merely take the plastic sheet off to reduce that minor glare); the saved photos are enhanced just a bit and great. And I can download them to my PC, don't have to pay some subscription fee to save in the cloud if I don't want. Pictures are scanned wonderfully (I do have a Galaxy S26 at the high end, so I'm not sure if its camera has any impact). Now, I will tackle a huge tub of older pictures. Note I will save all pictures to at least four different separate HDDs and/or USB sticks (one wrapped in lead).

I’ve been using the app and website for several years. I particularly appreciate the app’s ability to digitize 3 pics at a time - makes it much easier when trying to capture an old photo album. I also like its ability to digitize in the scrapbook mode - helps in preserving kids artwork from school or other irregularly sized items.

This app works as promised. It is so very easy to scan my photos.
I love the improvements made to each digital photo as they are scanned.

Love saving older photos on my phone because my kids will not want the photos

Before digital imaging I took a lot of slides. So many that I stopped buying carousels and bought a stack loader. When I decide to digitize the slides, I found out that I could line them up on a slide viewer backlight and use my phone to capture up to 6 slides at a time. So great to revisit so many old memories by scrolling on my computer now. Line up the slides, snap, drop the old slides the trash. Sad but otherwise they'd probably soon be lost to me.
Old photo albums and framed photos can also be captured quite easily. The automatic color enhancement plus the photo editing is also a great feature. The best part is capturing multiple photos at once. Many are faded and can be refreshed using Photomyne. They even have a "sharpen" feature which works pretty well ob grainy pictures. I used an autofeed scanner to scan stacks of old photos but ran into difficulty trying to take apart old albums. Photomyne solved the problem. Find an angle with little or no glare and snap away with the phone. The photos tend to be as good as or even better (with enhancement) than the old snapshots.
I also have some of my dad's old negatives and they come out nearly perfect using Photomyne.
