What a ripoff! We went to Cheshire oaks to do some shopping and decided to have food here as we don’t live locally. The prices were through the roof and portions small. I had lasagne £18.95 pretty small portion my wife pasta dish was even smaller. Service was poor, very understaffed. Food tasted fine and that’s why I gave it a 2 star. I also used the toilet while there and it could do with a good clean! I certainly won’t return to a pizza express. 1st and last time for me.

Street, Somerset. Eye wateringly expensive and very average food. I had one small square of lasagna (£16.95!) 1 piece of plain garlic bread (£6.25!) 1 Diet Coke (£5.80!). I was in a hurry and stopped off for a quick lunch. Huge mistake. I don't know how they have the nerve to charge these prices! One positive thing to note is that the staff are great, although there are too few of them and they're rushed off their feet.

Watch out for a waiter called Zim. He was overly friendly and hands-on with our 19-month-old daughter, repeatedly crossing boundaries that any parent would reasonably expect to be respected.

He physically interacted with our baby, picking her up and walking around the restaurant without permission, which made us extremely uncomfortable. He also made comments such as “bye daddy” before walking off, and “don’t get jealous, all the girls love me” in reference to our very young daughter.

As parents, we expect staff to maintain professional distance and to respect parental authority at all times, especially when children are involved.

This was a very disappointing and alarming experience.

Pizza express, Dorking: Nice staff and good food (especially the pizza), quite busy though but this was on a Friday evening so makes sense. Only problem was we were never offered water and they were so busy we couldn’t order drinks. Would still definitely recommend though.

Ashford Outlet last night.
Food arrived in stages and with attitude. Felt like one waiter resented having to bring us some limp, undercooked polenta chips, despite having finished most of our meals.
No draught beer only bottles.
Waitress didn’t understand ‘light tonic water’.
Sat with empty glasses and were being ignored.
No offer to clear plates or offer desert.
Effort just to get the bill. Then dumped on table and ignored again so has to go to the till.
Said that we were not impressed and would not return, waitress just shrugged shoulders and didn’t even comment.
Mentioned this experience to friends today and to no surprise they had same experience recently.
Won’t be returning, but I don’t imagine they care.

Worst pizza ever.
It looks like dog food when delivered .
I ordered through Just Eat contacted them to make a complaint was told we are unable to do anything.
The pizza smells bad and looks messed up.

Love this place.

It was great service and good food, plus lovely gift in the end.

Pizza express Belsize Park. Waiter added £30 to our bill. We had ordered from a set menu. He snatched the bill back and yelled at us before returning with the correct bill. No tip

Very impressed that the gentleman serving us on greeting actually asked if we would like our regular table and knew exactly what one that was. Even though he has only served us a couple of times and we haven't been in for a month or two.
However, not impressed that there doesn't seem to be rewards for being a gold member compared to anyone who walk off the street when it came to the festive set menu. If you are able to split the bill on the app, and one person orders from festive menu, and the other 2 order the usual stuff, if you have loyalty,(as that should be rewarded) you should be able to use it. The saving on the festive menu was only £7 so not a massive amount, but still one that should be able to be combined with gold rewards. As, since not, then anyone who is not a Tier member gets the same savings as gold member. Also I do not know why we couldn't split the bill, where the person who ordered the festive menu paid theirs and I paid the other 2 patrons bill, which we asked to do. They were very polite in refusing. Even so we will be back, but the festive menu won't be the reason.

Peter and Phillip were amazing, the service was really good, and the food was just spectacular! Totally recommend for people looking for really good food and ever better people.

Pizza Express - Banstead, Surrey.

Visited Pizza Express for lunch today and had such lovely, smiley, friendly service from Roxy.
Shame that the 40% discount offer for App holders has been removed for Half Term (disappointing but unfortunately not unexpected) but food was good. Made a difference having a genuine and friendly waitress.

Tried to book a table for 2 at Pizza Express Albert Dock Liverpool. Was told that the restaurant was fully booked. Walked past the restaurant 60 minutes after the time of my booking and half the restaurant was empty. Seems like they don’t want bookings after all. Won’t bother again

Called into Pizza Express at Macclesfield last night as we were working on installing the towns Xmas lights. Great Service from Tatiana. She was so attentive, kind and friendly. We weren't too sure about some of the menu and she was able to guide us and described the food very well. She made sure we had plenty to drink, offered us the desert menu and coffee after, we didn't want that, but nevertheless, everything was offered to us. The pizza was delicious. Tatiana made us so welcome and we would definately go there again. Many thanks.

Pizza Express has reached a new low, selling a 10-inch pizza for £16.75, and they no longer mention the size. Plus, it arrived cold, again. Initially, I thought I got the kids' pizza by mistake as it used to be a normal size last time I ordered. This is the last time I am ordering pizza from them.

It took 1.5 hours to get some doughballs and a pizza. In Stirling.
Pizza was very oily. Had ordered extra anchovies. They were there but you could barely see them.
Very poor visit.
Wouldn't go unless you don't mind a long wait.

Just eaten at Pizza Express Cobham and had the worst service experience ever. A dark haired Italian waitress was extremely rude twice. I have never been spoken to like that in a restaurant before. We also asked for some crayons for the two little girls we had with us and was told we’d be brought some when there was some available (by the same We never got any despite seeing some people who came in after us get some crayons. Service was very slow as well as rude. I’ve always loved pizza express but will never go back to this branch.

We arrived at a door of the Centre MK branch, that enters the restaurant from an open area, to be told(v politely) that the entrance is at the other end of the store. Fair enough, no biggie
We stood at that entrance for 5 minutes before a lady even acknowledged us. We had walked past her as she was sorting cutlery. My daughter approached to ask about being seated, to be told bluntly that there was a 15 wait. We counted at least 7 tables that were empty from door. There was another area we couldn’t see that was presumably as “full”.
We ordered via a machine, which amazingly asked for a tip!!!! Astonishing.
Two groups in our party, and I received my food 10-15 minutes after the first half of our party, and only then because I asked for an update.
Really really disappointed

Pizza Express Maidstone - My friend and I arrived at 19:40 and waited to be seated. After 5 minutes, a waitress came over and seated us. She firstly had to find a table as 7 tables had still not be cleaned down.
After we were seated, about 2 minutes later, another waiter came over and said they were no longer serving and we needed to leave. I should point out that another table arrived about 3 minutes before us and were seated and orders taken.

I have never experienced anything like this before in my life. Why were we seated if they weren't serving? What restaurant stops seating guests at 19:45?

While the hospitality industry cries out for help and bemoans the current climate, Pizza Express staff couldnt care less. Talk about taking your customer base for granted.

Please don't support these guys. Fix up your act or do us all a favour and close.
