Our Christmas ski trip to France was cancelled and we had initially picked Powder White as they had good COVID guarantees that would be dealt with quickly

Disappointingly, 10-weeks since we confirmed we would like a refund, we're still waiting to receive the money. No detail in the contract suggested there would be a large delay in receiving a refund in the event that would be necessary and we're still awaiting confirmation when we may also get it. I do have sympathies for businesses who have been impacted by travel restrictions, but the complete lack of clarity, constructive customer service and delays after 10-weeks is not very good.

Even more annoying is that having come on to Trust Pilot today, it looks like other customers who had a similar experience received their refunds extremely swiftly.

We won't be using Powder White again in the future.

Where to begin with these Ar**holes:

1- The accommodation was not as described.
2- The staff are poorly rained and non responsive.
3- The Resort manager was rude and incompetent.
4- the catering was next-level bad. I mean, Fawlty Towers level of baaaaddd.

Do, NOT BOOK with PowderWhite.

Thank you Powder White for your fantastic service. Our holiday was cancelled because of France not opening up ski resorts to British. Powder White have been amazing and have refunded our holiday in full. Will definitely book again - great value company and fantastic friendly, knowledgeable service.

Unlike a lot of people we were able to take our holiday despite flight changes. During all the upheaval Duncan at Powder White was patient and helpful. We would use them again without hesitation. Our accommodation was excellent as well.

I can’t believe that this company still exists?! After stealing hundreds of thousands of pounds, it truly is a disgrace. They even stole our skiing pass money, though they promised to reimburse us, that was over a year ago!
Stay away from this company at all cost, think about how they treated their (once loyal) customers in the past. DO NOT BOOK YOUR SKIING TRIP WITH POWDERWHITE, THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!

I had a family trip booked. We Had to cancel for Covid reasons. Full refund given only 2 weeks prior to departure. Will be rebooking with powder white to show our appreciation of their great service. Thanks.

Both Victoria & Duncan at White Powder are awesome and their customer service if fantastic. No hesitations using this company again and again for future skiing holidays.

Great company - with regret we had to cancel our upcoming ski holiday to France and they have been very understanding and processed a refund without delay. Would definitely use again.

Powder White have been great throughout booking our holiday, with a lovely selection of very reasonably priced properties and a helpful attitude. They worked very hard to resolve the issues surrounding our planned trip to Austria in light of recent announcements, ensuring we received our FULL refund within 2 working days of requesting it, before the end of the month when our credit card bill was due. Couldn't recommend highly enough and will definitely be booking our next trip through them.

A great booking process initially, followed by excellent communication and support to claim a refund after 18 months delay.

Excellent service. Sadly we had to cancel our booking due to a change of circumstances but there was no delay in issuing us our refund

Powder white stole thousands from our group claiming insolvency yet they continue to advertise on social media about their flexible cancellation policy for next year's ski season. Won't go near these thieves with a 10 foot ski.

In response to PowderWhite's reply below, by 'claiming insolvency' I was referring to Claire Freeland's email to me on March 18th, 2020 in which she justified not refunding us any money by expressing concern about whether PowderWhite would be able to "come out of this in one piece". Well, congratulations, it seems that you have come out in one piece after stealing money from your customers and also stiffing your housing providers (I've had outreach indicating that chalet owners were not paid by PowderWhite for accommodation provided - so PowderWhite were both pocketing money from customers and also not paying your chalet owners.)

Yes of course my reviews are an effort to damage your reputation. But the review is 100% truthful and your reputation should reflect the amount of money you've stolen from your customers. How do you justify issuing zero refunds or travel credits when that was the standard practice for other travel providers? You even refused to refund us money we had prepaid for taxis to transfer us to the chalet from the airport - costs you clearly never incurred.

I know plenty of people who had ski trips or other holidays canceled as a result of COVID but haven't heard of any provider being as cruel under the circumstances as PowderWhite.

It’s been a difficult year for all holiday companies with all the covid cancellations. Powder White have been absolutely brilliant since our ski holiday in Feb 21 had to be cancelled. We are now booked for Feb 22 through them and I had quite a few questions about our booking and they have been so responsive, helpful and professional. Brilliant team of people we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Powerwhite are a very good company to work with. Victoria handled our ski trip very well and got us a very good deal. She even booked a car park space with a EV charging unit for us.

Excellent service in what must be an incredibly hard time for powder white. They first of all allowed us to defer our holiday that was cancelled in 2020 with complete ease. When we realised that our 2021 holiday wouldn’t be able to go ahead we were given the option of a refund or to defer. We chose the refund option and got our refund back very quickly. The team at powder white made what could have been a stressful situation completely hassle free and were always there to answer any questions and nothing was too much trouble for them. I’d like to thank everyone there for their help and we can’t wait to book our next holiday with them.

If there were no stars this would be the company to have none. For all those poor people, who between you lost hundreds of thousands of pounds last year please be assured that as a chalet owner renting to PW we saw none of your money. This means that PW took your money and kept it. For them to claim they would take a double hit if they refunded you your money is a complete lie. I am very sorry that you have been cheated and lied to. We were left out of pocket by some E70,000. To rub salt into the wound I was not told that PW had put all their resort staff into my chalet when lock down happened using all the facilities and utilities. They left the place in a filthy and disgusting state with damage and some furniture missing. I would not touch this company with a barge pole, they even write 5 star reviews for themselves! They will NEVER get the opportunity to rent our 20 bed chalet again. I hope all those disappointed customers (yes believe it or not that is what you are despite being treated like vermin) will get on the snow next season and put your dreadful experience behind you and find a reputable company who value your custom and have the happiest holiday ever.

Not too bad, a friendly servicer, I would give 5 stars, if good from the beginning!
