Fantastic UK based company with super quick email replies and an excellent approach to handling the Covid pandemic crisis.

As you will no doubt read from the below comments, Powder White has willfully taken a lot of people's money and profited from the pandemic

This is horrendous.

After a number of critical reviews, Powder White have created fake reviews.

This company, or any others run by the directors should not be allowed to operate. Frankly the directors should be struck off as this goes beyond customer service - they have shat on the concept of corporate ethics.

Hopefully the business is ruined - it deserves nothing less.

I have been going on Powder White holidays for years and have always had a wonderful time. Staff have always been very professional and helpful when I have booked and in the resorts too and I would book a holiday with them again and again.

I do not rate this company at all, do not book with them; they refused to refund the money to us when we paid in March 2020 for a chalet that they then cancelled. They refused to provide any refund, credit note or alternative.

From 13 Oct 2020 they say '100% refund' on their bookings. Would you trust them when they have had no qualms about keeping our £5,000 from last winter? My insurance company did not pay out despite the cancellation.

Do not be fooled by the latest 5 star ratings on here, they are clearly fake.
Powder White owes a lot of people a lot of money from last year.
Utter crooks, avoid booking with them, there are plenty of other reputable companies out there.

Duncan at Powder White was very helpful and communication was timely as well as accurate. Would not hesitate to use them for my next ski trip.

Very professional, responsive, friendly and helpful, despite the difficult covid-19 environment. We will certainly look to Powder White first for future ski holiday bookings.

Booked an apartment in France through Duncan for next January. He was really helpful and easy to deal with. He arranged with the apartment provider for a full refund (less £75 fee) in event of cancellation up to a month before the trip. Have just had to cancel it due to Covid situation in France and UK quarantine rules. Money refunded within 48 hours. Excellent service, and will definitely use PowderWhite again.

I booked a ski holiday to France with Duncan. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with in every way. He was extremely professional in all interactions we had pre & post making our booking. I can certainly recommend powderwhite / Duncan. We will definitely be using them again for our next ski holiday.

Still no refund on ski holiday accommodation

We have just had to cancel an expensive holiday for 7 people due to a corona virus lockdown in our area. Powder White were fantastic, no quibble or attempt to sell vouchers instead. Money safely back in bank account within a week of sending bank details. We shall try to book again with them again if and when restrictions disappear.

Another case of the cancelled, non-refunded 2020 ski trip. Not only have they stolen our money claiming costs were 'sunk', despite offering to refund the costs of our tourist tax and transfer, they have still not done so and have ignored all further communications from us. As such they have literally profited from cancelling our trip.

Skiing holiday cancelled 1 week before we were due to because of Covid-19 closing resort. Powder White offered a voucher which was unacceptable due to other commitments next year. Simply told not their problem, claim agains your insurance. Insurance won’t pay as a voucher is deemed the same as a payment. What I would like to know is who has my money. Powder White the the French Chalet. I know who my money is on. Also if it has been paid to the Chalet owner they must be loving it. No cleaning or maintenance cost. No electric bill, where have they lost out. Bottom line DON’T USE POWDER WHITE

Nearly £10k spent and not a penny in refund after Powder White cancelled our holiday. Can't really believe it, this cannot be legal. No remorse from company whatsoever. Avoid at all costs.

We had booked a chalet ( fully paid up GBP !!with Powder White in Courchevel 1650 from 14th March -21st March .Fully paid up GBP 11,600.00 in advance for full board of our extensive family.
We were in the resort that same day and were advised not to go to the chalet as they would be closing under instruction from the Ski Resort which was closing.
We had to return to England and upon requesting PW's refund policy we were told that there was none and that we should contact our travel insurance.
A discourteous ,disgraceful and totally unacceptable response to our seemingly simple request to get back the money paid for service which we did not receive.
We have tried several ways of persuading PW to give us fair consideration ,even writing to The Times Travel Doctor who was also unable/unwilling to help. PW even had the temerity of accusing us of going to The Press in an attempt "blacken their name".
From other reviews on this site it is clear that PW need no outside help to blacken their name.
We should all form a cohesive group and pursue them through legal channels.
I for one will be contacting maples89 at their gmail address as suggested.
To others out there do not consider this company as anything other than an unprofessional outfit with no thought of providing any form of value.
It is interesting to note that thousands of complaints to Competition Markets Authority (CMA) has resulted in refunds by TUI to customers who had holidays cancelled due to Covid. We have already lodged a complaint against Powder White and would urge all other similarly treated customers to join us and provide a united front.

When the pandemic hit and our April 2020 ski holiday was cancelled Powder White would not offer us a refund or postponement of our trip. EVERY OTHER provider we have encountered - from ski guide, to airline, ski school and other travel agents - during this sorry mess of a situation has done their utmost to help, whether through refund, partial refund or postponement to next year but NOT POWDER WHITE. Despite repeated emails to the director, she maintains that our insurance - we have a full and comprehensive travel policy - is at fault for not covering the claim which is patently not the case. The response of the directors of Powder White is staggering and I would certainly not trust them with any booking in the future. We will be bringing a claim against them to attempt to recover the cost of our holiday.

Avoid Powder White. No refund while they cancel your trip (based on their general terms and conditions). Terrible service. Do not book via Powder White!

As with others, they are trying to use the French law to hold onto our money from our cancelled ski trip in March. Outrageous behaviour, lack of compassion and holding on to so many customers cash. AVOID AVOID AVOID .. This company has caused me 6 months of stress
Still no monies received. Was ill advised to go via travel insurance, travel insurance say its on PW.. Scandlaous
