EDIT Sending a stupid reply just about sums you up. I am reporting you to the Office of the Information Commission for breaching the GDPR Regulations by failing to act on my NUMEROUS requests to remove ALL my details from your database…my RIGHT TO ERASURE and for trying to take a membership fee on more than one occasion from my bank account despite me saying I do not want a membership you are being reported to the FCA send to the media who help people who cannot get responses from awful companies such as PRELOVED. EVERYONE, REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCE
They persist in trying take a membership fee without my consent even though I do not use PRELOVED. This year my card had changed so my bank blocked them and my bank told me they could continue to try to take my money. I have several times requested that they remove my details from their database. They have failed to do that and have breached the GDPR Regs and I am reporting them also to the Financial Conduct authority. The CEO does not reply and numerous links on their website do not work. AVOID

Unimpressed. As a seller you want people to be able to respond to ads but it seems that free members, which I would expect most to be, can't interact with listings that are less than 12 days old.
Pretty poor way to run things, definitely not worth bothering with

No point in paying membership. They are not publishing adverts - I have asked for a membership refund but no reply. As a point of principle, I will request a refund from my bank.
Also reporting to Trading Standards as preloved are taking money for a non existent service.

Pointless website,they dont bother approving posts or replying to messages

Interesting how you have time to respond here but no time to respond to customer messages on preloved website?? Countless other people complaining about same issues
Incidentally my adverts posted several weeks ago still are sitting awaiting approval and no messages to customer service (cough cough) have been responded too....

What has happened to Preloved?
I’ve been a regular advertiser with Preloved for many years and, until recently, have always found them professional, reliable and prompt when responding to queries.
Unfortunately, this is no longer my experience. I’ve placed two adverts which have now been waiting weeks to be reviewed, and neither has been published. I’ve also sent emails regarding the issue, but have received no response whatsoever.
What is particularly disappointing is that my subscription payment has been taken without any problem, despite the service I’m paying for not being provided.
I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and the apparent decline in customer service. I hope Preloved will address this and explain what has happened to the service that used to be so professional.

Ive had adverts pending approval nearly 2 weeks,no response to any messages sent to customer services.
Would reccomend people use pets4homes and freeads instead.

*edit in response to reply,there is no reference or order numbers on my STILL pending adverts or account! You should be able to see all pending posts and messages!!

I have been a preloved member for several years and it worked really well. This time I placed 2 adverts on 4.8.2026. Both are not listed. I paid for membership, as it pro.ised immediate listing, that seemed to make them go live for about 24 hours and now they are back in 'needing approval'. I have contacted preloved no reply. I have just sent another message. In my opinion if there is a problem with the advert at least have the decency to contact customers, not just take their money.

This site used to be so good until the past couple of years. It's August now and I still have adverts waiting editorial review since June, I must of sent 20 emails to customer service via the site and literally not one response. I've been a member since 2003 and just cancelled my auto renewal with them and deleting the account. There are so many other ways to sell items now such as FB, freeads, gumtree..................

So I got a reply from preloved the day after this, just asking for more details and so they looked interested to others reading this.
Even now no personal reply and adverts still awaiting editorial review since June.
THEY ARE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME

scammers, liars, going out of business and desperately illegally taking money from previous subscribers that no longer want anything to do with you,
pretending to answer reviews as if they care and you do not hear another thing from them
Your business is finished

I would give no stars if possible. This company have zero customer service, they don't reply to messages, there is no log of messages sent to them and no other way of contacting them. I paid a £6 membership fee as had several items to sell. The 1st item I listed never went live, I asked several times for help with this and got none. I then asked for a refund of my membership fee and to close my account, no response. £6 might not be a lot of money but how many other people are being ripped off like this? Shocking!

UPDATE: Following the request from Stephen on 11th August to respond to the request sent to me via my TrustPilot account, which I did immediately, I have still had no communication from them and my advert from 28th July is still waiting review. They are scammers.

Preloved used to be a great website. However, as many others have reported, some of my adverts have been in 'review' for months now, and I've sent 6 separate emails requesting assistance without receiving a single reply.

I will remove this review if I receive some assistance, but at the moment this is the only means I can think to try and prompt a response from someone at the website.

What shockingly bad service from this site. Placed an advert and after 8 days it's still 'under review'. Does anyone actually work there?! Ads used to be approved within a few hours, which now appears to have gone to a few weeks. Waste of time and effort trying to sell anything on this site. No replies to multiple emails either. Sent further information they requested on trust pilot still no reply from them, as a silver member i will be cancelling my account very shortly and advertising elsewhere this company is an absolute joke. Still no reply from preloved, can not recommend them, don't even reply satisfactory to Trust Pilot.

Agree with the majority, Preloved used to be great but something changed a few years ago and the search feature doesn't seem to work, ads and videos appear in the middle of an advert and whereas it used to take a few hours to get an ad approved, I have been waiting 10 days, emailed after a week and no reply to this either. I'm guessing it's all just left to AI and chatbots to run it now.

Absolutely very bad service my advert still pending for 2 months now I tried to contact them but no response at at all

All I want to do is contact Preloved Uk. Ive got a paid subscription but my advert has not been put out for weeks, no explanation, service is so poor. I tried going through Facebook and was given a bogus email.

This used to be a great site to use , however this past year my adverts go into review despite following correct wording etc. my last 2 adverts are still in review 3 weeks and 7/8 emails later with no communication / response from Preloved.
Such a shame that this is now a terrible site to advertise on

Hi Stephen, its now August. Once again I provided you with my information yet still no reply via your contact us links, emails or on here?? Just as before it seems u reply on here so your response looks good but never via your website but then nothing ever gets done anyway. WHY?? Your site takes payments from buyers & sellers for a service that does not exist. WHY? Ads never go live & if they eventually do the site repeatedly tells sellers to renew & then ads don't go live again for months. WHY ?? As I said, what is going on as this is happening to many users so please kindly respond & please kindly renew & make my 3 ads live as requested on 14th June. Thanks. You have my email via website & now via here wks ago at your request yet still no direct reply??? Email me please??

*******.Hi Stephen since my previous issue on here I replied & also gave my full details yet never heard from either of you again. WHY?? Very strange that you initially both always only reply on here just the one time yet never reply when contacted via the actual preloved website contact system? So my last 2 ads took months to renew so ended up deleting them even though all I did was renew the original live ad as advised they never went live again? So I've listed something else & renewed existing ad as advised & again both never go live nor any replies to my emails via your contact us system?? So here I am just trying to get a reply to make my ads live on a site I have paid for full membership for several years for absolutely nothing. Other sites check & post your ads live within minutes & hrs once verified yet preloved never renew, post nor reply to emails when contacted via their website contact us link? So what is the point renewing my annual subscription next month when all year you never post, renew or respond via website & even when you both did on here twice months ago there was nothing ever done?? What is the point in a website if ads never go live? Never get renewed when told to renew? Never get a reply when contacted via your "contact us" on your website?? I was told a while ago my account could not be found yet they have no issues taking my annual subscription full member payment??

Here I am again unfortunately. So after being a paid full membership user on preloved who leave reminders to keep renewing yr ads yet then never actually renew them for wks or months so absolutely no point even having a website at all. They take yr membership fee then don't put your ad live for wks or months so by that time they need updating then told to renew & hey anther 4 wks , months pass & still mot gone live. They reply on here so they look like they respond quick but then don't even fo anything?? I posted 2 ads on 14th June same ads went live without any issues on other sites but even after contacting them on repeat via email to make my ads live & on here, my ads r still not live. This site seriously needs to be investigated. The only time they get back to anyone is via trust pilot then they do nothing to help ir say they can't find your account yet they can take subscription fees off you no problem. So anyone on trustpilot or preloved please can u get in touch & make my ads live. Thank you.

Rubbish, ads dont get accepted and no one replies to emails. A waste of what used to be a good selling site.

Zero stars if it was available,48hrs plus yet again and no ad approved,messaged and no reply,been like this for a few years now and usually I give up and delete ad,and they want you to pay them... no chance

I'm very disappointed with my experience using Preloved. My advert has been stuck as "awaiting editorial review", so it isn't visible to buyers, and I've already contacted customer support but haven't received a reply. I also had the same issue on another account, which makes this even more frustrating.

I understand that adverts need to be reviewed, but there seems to be no indication of how long this will take, and there is no customer service phone number to speak to anyone directly. If there is a problem with my advert, I'd appreciate being told what it is rather than being left waiting with no communication.

I hope someone from Preloved can investigate my account and help get this resolved as soon as possible.
