Mechanic did job at appointed time ,job done efficiently .

Following a flat tyre that couldn't be repaired, I contacted Island Tyres before 9am. Premium tyre fitted at 10:30 the same day at a first class price. Staff were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended. Thanks chaps!

The job was done how I expected it to be done.

In previous experiences having tires changed, I always dreaded knowing the car was going to be raised using a trolly jack under the chassis seam and not by a proper support stand where the weight is meant to be supported. So on that point alone, a more pro approach. The company was offering a better tyre option for the price, so I got upgraded to a higher efficiency tyre for the same price. Also the wheels were handled thoughtfully and not just yanked off, thrown into the machine and processed like a tyre changing race.... It was orderly and considerate... no unexpected surprises or upselling anywhere.... How it should be done really

Protyre looked into the issue and clearly instructed what needed to be done.

On arrival at reception the person who unlocked the doors, was the same oerson who checked me in for the car service was quite rude. He had two doors to unlock, he unlocked the door I was waiting at and walked away to the other door, unlocked it and also opened it for people waiting there. I could've passed this off, but he then promptly told me "that man was first" not pleasantly and no eye contact no smile nothing. This continued whilst he checked in my car. Never seen him before, don't know him and never offended him in a prior life🤷🤦‍♀️. Basically have a bad morning on your own time. Especially when I eventually ( dropped car off at 08.30am and picked it up at 2.45pm)got the car back the bill was £500 . So much for "just" a service😫🙄.

Where do I start on the 28/07/25 I had pre booked mot and service dropped car off at 8.45 as asked they done mot straight away went back about 2hours later see car out front spoke to customer service they said they have still got to service car and it needs 2 new tires told them ok just do what you have to do went back again 2 hours later car still sitting in work shop not been touched everyone just walking round like headless chickens eventually they started service and changed tyres I eventually got car back at 2.30pm when I got the bill oil filter not changed nor air filter witch I have never heard of what is the point in changing oil without oil filter. Plus I had special offer £10 off mot but noticed been charged for it my grandson used to work there so I know the the place fairly well but it just seems nobody cares at all absolutely no enthusiasm in the place .sorry for such a long rant but not impressed at all so will be taking my car elsewhere in future yours mr Michael Warren

Great service

Went to procure in Lake, Isle of Wight to change tyres. Good price and very helpful technician put me at ease. Later the pressure imbalance warning light came on so went back. Staff were straight on the case and discovered a damaged sensor which they replaced at their cost, eventually the warning system was reset with absolute determination of a group of staff and I left a very happy man at the end. Well done all and huge thanks for all the efforts.

Booked my car in for MOT had to reschedule it twice finally got it in and failed but got the free retest the following week and passed , the staff were friendly and helpful will be using them in the future

Professional scammers. Charged me £40 for a set of wipers that cost £10 in the shop that’s without a trade discount. In addition to that, charged me an extra £4 to fit them.

Did a very nice job, office team were pleasant to deal with, job was finished when it was expected to, car drives noticeably better than before the service.

No issue with the work done, other than turning up in the morning with a pre-booked appointment, only to find they’re running 40 minutes late.

REPLACEMENT BRAKE DISCS AND PADS 30-07-25 PROTYRE, LAKE, I.W. After an initial hiccup with parts the team recovered well, keeping me informed of the situation and completing the work within their revised timeline. Still worth five stars.
