Senseless decision by Pukka to discontinue its most prolific tea (Tulsi Clarity). When questioned Pukka said: "it is a unique blend, consumer popularity is much stronger for other teas in our range." However, I venture to disagree, as the Tulsi tea was routinely low in stock on-shelf compared to other Pukka tea varieties thereby indicating immense popularity contrary to Pukka's verdict. The rationale for discontinuation was not reflective of the reality on the ground. Therefore, I question if this was a strategic decision to channel customers to purchase the less preferable teas. Surely, consumer satisfaction remains paramount. The Pukka agent suggested the Ginger or Turmeric tea as substitutes, yet these flavour profiles are unlike the Tulsi Clarity. In my experience, the Pukka Ginger is too sweet and I have no requirement for the latter when my diet already contains turmeric. With all due respect, Pukka should reconsider its decision and reinstate the foregoing without delay. Just compare the sales data for Tulsi against the production level to verify its demand. In the interim, I am ordering all surplus stock of Pukka Tulsi from authorised retailers/distributors, as I am suffering withdrawal symptoms.

Der Tee schmeckt gut, aber obwohl ich es als Kundin inzwischen gewohnt bin, dass Verpackungen vom Hersteller nicht mehr komplett und bis zum Rand befüllt werden, war ich beim Öffnen empört ... Wer so riesige Teepackungen macht und sie dann nur knapp zur Hälfte gefüllt verkauft, ist für mich der Teufel, auch wenn noch so oft "Bio" draufsteht.

tastes like someone dragged a teabag across the floor of a spice warehouse and let it go stale for a year.

let it steep and instead of tea you get murky water with a heavy aniseed flavour and an artificial creamy texture to mimic vanilla

This tea is tasteless , watery, and unsettles the stomach. I bought the tubers, ginger, orange tea. Wishes I’ve ever tasted in my life. Zero stars is more appropriate!

wife insists on pukka,,,and for years get regular splitting of the tea bag,,,,,,finally and hopefully the last,as we just had a box and three of them were split one after the other,,,Iv'e insisted we look elsewhere,seeing the reviews,obviously a problem and still is do they care

“Pukka Supreme Matcha Green” 30g for £5. You would think this is Matcha, wouldn’t you? But it’s only 2% Matcha for £166/kg.
This is totally misleading, and I only bought it because I was mislead and stupidly didn’t question what it says on the front. Is this legal? It should be called “Pukka Green Tea with a hint of Macha”.

Very disappointing.

I bought the 'gourmet' selection. 14 quid (on offer) for 30 tea bags. I was attracted by the packaging and box they came in. The tea itself, every flavour, is utterly tasteless apart from a hint of liquorice that seems to be in every bag. Twinings are far superior. Even Aldi fruit tea bags at under £1 are loads better. Feel like I've been conned.

Very poor quality tea.

I don't know what they use to glue their ridiculously designed boxes together, but it's almost impossible to open the box without destroying it. Not worth it for a mediocre tea. Won't be buying this brand again.

I contacted them to ask what the 3 different types of chamomile in their 3 chamomile tea are. Message I got was a bit vague (probably intentionally so), but what I manged to gather was that get chamomile grown in 3 different regions. Doesn't warrant calling it a 3 chamomile tea. When I queried further they did not reply,

I used to be able to get two cups out of a Pukka teabag. Now I can barely get one. The decline in quality has been very marked indeed. In the same period the price has doubled. When I first came across Pukka teas their boxes of 20 were about half the price of Teapigs’ boxes of 15. Now they are about the same price.
The only thing that they seem to be investing more in is the packaging, which is beautiful, but the product has gone down the pan. Very, very disappointing.

very interesting blends and herbs, i just would love to have some options without liquorice .

I’m halfway through a packet of ginger tea and so far every tea bag has split or disintegrated- leaving a very unpleasant drink full of bits - I won’t be buying again.

... in their dreams! This is a false trade description - there is nothing 'gorgeous' about this weak concoction. Total waste of money - and thank goodness I 'only' forked out £3 rather than £5 as it was on offer - but not worth it even at that price!

The teas are weak with no flavor.

I have bought your Pukka Ginger & Lemon with Manukau Honey tea for many many years. Sadly though, your latest formulation of this tea has noticeably changed in recent months in as much it is now much weaker in strength. Could this be a form of "shrink flation" I wonder! I think I'll be trying other alternatives that can give me that stronger taste back to how Pukka used to be! 👎😏

Quality worse,price higher and less tea per bag.no more pukka for me.
