Pure Gym great and good value.
Love the gym from kit to layout and great location. For £25.00 per month what more could you want.
One moan and this not about the gym, but the people who can't live without their mobile phone. Please have some courtesy and leave the phone in the locker. You should be working out and not on social media blocking the machines. Try without it and see how fit you'll get.

Plenty of space
Plenty of space, Great setup,Fantastic support team,changing rooms spotless well the whole Gym is spotless,Good showers,Easy parking with loads of space.Plenty of bookings available with instructors Group and individuals. Drinks machines free.Security cameras everywhere inside and out for everyone's safety.

Just an update on a couple of things…
Just an update on a couple of things and being honest................
1. The whole experience of joining and attending has been very positive.
2. Chloe "The Manager" was very helpful.
3. The gym is clean and tidy. Just watching Andrew (one of the staff members) today while working out, the guy did not stop, sanitising and cleaning the equipment, running the vacuum around the place, talking with members, constantly doing something.
4. All the staff seem helpful and personable.
5. Even the members I have met and talked with seem friendly. There is little evidence at the moment of it NOT being filled with wannabe Instagram influencers, which is a big positive.
6. Does it feel a little warm inside the gym at times? yes, but that's maybe because the air conditioning was being serviced. Would today's temperature be suitable for the colder winter months? probably. Would today's temperature be suitable for the hotter summer months? probably NOT.
People that complain about the flow or equipment or lack of equipment are just not being honest. Be patient and work around others using the equipment. There are enough things you could be getting on with. (see other reviews)
People complaining about parking, of course that is an issue if you get a parking ticket, but speak to the staff, especially if the tablet in the front door area is not working, they maybe able to help.
But to cancel your membership, without speaking to the staff about it and not trying to resolve the issue and throwing your toys out of your pram seems dumb to me. (see other reviews)
If it is such a big deal, then walk to the gym.
PureGym does exactly what it says on the tin and for a very resonable price. Less than a £1 a day if you use it everyday.
Is it a David Lloyd style club? No, but you are also not paying stupid David Lloyd prices (around £90) each month, especially just to sit around in a cafe and people watch over your Matcha Latte, which no doubt will cost you an arm and leg. No disrespect meant to DL Clubs or people that can afford DL Clubs, just too look pretty.
Go to a local PureGym, workout, go home, maybe pick up a coffee on the way home if you want. You will still be quids in and another reason to feel positive about yourself.

Come to the gym because a friend asked…
Come to the gym because a friend asked me to come as a guest.. wasn’t told anything about parking.. trained for a hour left.. and received a car parking fine of 60 quid

We are sorry to hear that you received a parking fine whilst using the gym. The car park is operated by a third party company in which we do not have any affiliation with. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cancel such tickets. Information regarding parking is available on the home page of any PureGym which offers parking. The correct parking procedures must be followed, to avoid a parking ticket. We would always advise that you appeal the fine and explain the circumstances. If you get in touch with Member Services, we can also provide you with an appeal document which will be an official letter from PureGym Head Office, stating that you are a member of PureGym and your attendance log for the date in question, will also be provided as proof to show you were in the gym. If your appeal is rejected, we would suggest submitting a case with POPLA. POPLA are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service. They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park; whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal. On the rejection notice, there should be a 10-digit verification code, and you will then be able to submit an appeal with POPLA via their website: http://www.popla.co.uk/poplaappealprocess. Although we cannot guarantee they will cancel the fine, we do hope for a positive outcome.

First time back in the gym after nearly…
First time back in the gym after nearly 2 years. Very friendly atmosphere, lots of equipment and free space for core workout. Very clean, and toilets and shower rooms spotless. Made my anxiety lower Very quickly after not going to the gym for so long.

Excellent equipment & helpful staff
We took our disabled adult son to the Caerphilly branch this afternoon where we were given a tour of the facilities by a member of staff. He was friendly, taking time to understand our son’s disability issues & advise us of how routines can be used to improve his health.
Another positive is that membership is monthly so as you are not tied into a lengthy contract, you can leave at any time.

Fantastic experience glad I’ve joined
Brilliant, staff very helpful especially Kian White and as it was my first time he made me feel very comfortable and showed me around and made me feel welcomed to the gym, thank you Kian 👍 so glad I have joined and will recommend to all my friends

This is the second time this has…
This is the second time this has happened. I have no communication and they cancel the class. I only go to the gym for classes so at least the decency to tell me before I get there that there will be no class that day

Positive experience from the begining
I visited the gym at Caerphilly, receiving a warm and inviting welcome from the assistant manager (Tom). I was unsure due to my age 67 and not having visited a gym for a number of years. He immediately put me at ease and took his time to walk me around explaining every aspect including the benefits of the various pieces of equipment in relation to my goal (which he enquired about at the start). He provided me with every assurance I needed, without any hint of sales pressure. I left uninterested in visiting any other gym came home and completed the simple and straightforward application online.
