staff started taking photos around me on 1st day
I joined the Worcester town gym, the first I went to gym after years, just as I started my workout: staff member came and started taking photos of the floor and weights near me. He said the floor was uneven. I was in his photos because there’s a mirror on the wall. Can he have not done this when nobody is using that area? Or close the area off for a short while. Made me feel so uncomfortable. Will never ever go back and would not recommend PureGym only because the staff are so unprofessional

Didn't really care for this gym which I…
Didn't really care for this gym which I found to be cold, smelly, unattractive and therefore uninspiring. I shouldn't have to wear a coat inside in the winter, because heating should be adequate. It was not. That's why I am no longer a member there. I may try another PureGym if I move to a different area. I quite liked the App which had lots of information.

No faff, just what you need!
The transparency in showing membership pricing on their website is part of what made me join PureGym. I had looked elsewhere, but they have no prices listed (which always feels shady) and insisted on calling me to have a 'chat' about the different memberships on offer. I've just moved home, now knee deep in boxes and don't want to sit on the phone for half an hour, while someone on the other end is trying to upsell to me... just give me the prices! In stark contrast. I'm really happy with the information and ease of joining PureGym. Everything you need to know is on the website, including the pricing structure! I will definitely be recommending PureGym to friends and colleagues. Thank you 😊

Seamless booking and got to workout…
Seamless booking and got to workout straight within 5 mins of making membership. Gym was large and felt airy, certain floor areas were too soft but hasn't been much of an issue for me. This gym works for me!

we frequent Worcester PureGym between…
we frequent Worcester PureGym between the hours of 0330 and 0530 very frequently there is very loud interference coming over the speakers that represents white noise a couple of our colleagues no longer train with us as this noise is that irritating it is considerably louder than what the music has played

The gym is either cold or hot which…
The gym is either cold or hot which make it difficult to exercise properly. I spoke to few times the managers on site but nothing has been done which is not good customer service.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym
A Little bit tricky…
I tried to join with the no joining fee code. It didn't work. Then I got and email asking me to rejoin and save half on my membership for first month. But something was wrong. Emailed for info and help but it was a no reply email. Finally managed after getting another email invite and went for first time today. May just have been me. But it was a bit tricky

Hard joining experience, not welcoming
I was unable to join online as I did not have a bank account so I went to the club to join in person.
First it was incredibly hard to get in or even speak to a real person and when I finally got to speak to someone it was as if they did not want me there as a member and were not lenient on any of their rules which is good for business but not good for customer experience especially when signing up. I was told I can only do a day pass or sign up to membership (I only wanted a month pass) . I then found out on my own that there were 30 day passes available
Overall experience was - big barrier to entry, not welcoming and not lenient.
Gym itself looks nice but lacking variety of equiment and good quality machines

As an online company, we don't have receptions. However, we have the cylinder POD doors that act as both an entrance and security system.
The POD doors monitor entrance with individual 8 digit code.
Any queries regarding our memberships please reach out to our Member Services team who can look into this further.
With regards to equipment we always aim to provide a broad spread of kit to cater to a range of fitness needs and meet demand as it changes through the day, getting the balance right between weights and cardio.
If you have any other/specific suggestions please approach the Gym Manager or leave a note in the feedback box, which is regularly reviewed. Thanks, PureGym
