I received my order but was not happy with it. The description said lace and I got sequins instead. I dealt with Raven and my experience after was superb. Emails answered promptly and I was offered a partial refund. The customer service with Raven is why I’m rating it 4 stars

Returning an unsuitable item has been unnecessarily difficult

Unfortunately, my experience trying to return a dress to QueenDancer has been very disappointing.

The dress didn’t fit, so I contacted the company to arrange a return.

Rather than simply providing the return instructions, I received an email asking me to explain exactly which parts of the dress didn’t fit and suggesting that I find a tailor to alter it.

I was then offered either a £12 coupon or a £7 partial refund towards the cost of having it altered.

I don’t want the dress altered and I don’t want a coupon or a small partial refund. I simply want to return an unsuitable item in accordance with the company’s published returns policy.

Their returns page states that if a customer is unhappy with a purchase and contacts them within the specified period, they will process a return/exchange request and provide the relevant return instructions.

I have therefore asked again for the return to be authorised and for the return address to be provided so that I can send the dress back and receive my refund.

Buying clothes online inevitably means that sometimes an item won’t fit. In my view, arranging a straightforward return shouldn’t involve repeated attempts to persuade a customer to keep and alter an unwanted item.

I will update this review if QueenDancer now processes my return and refund promptly.

I had a really great experience with QueenDancer Shop. The service was excellent, and I really appreciated how helpful and supportive they were throughout the whole process.

They haven’t been great, ordered an outfit for prom, may have cut it close but was within the 3-8day window which I’d paid for. Upon checking on the 5 th day to follow up, my order still had remained unprocessed, after back and forth, ended up at should they refund me according to policy, figured since I’d spent what I considered a lot for a one off outfit let them continue with the order I’d find something else for it. But the gods weren’t with me, order got lost with Evri and after what weeks, it got delivered, and surprise suprise, I may have been better off ordering from Temu because what I received kind of resembled what I ordered if you squint in dim lighting.

If you purchase from this company be prepared to not be refunded if you choose to send it back.
Poorly made clothing at ridiculous high end prices.

I’m not sure I’d recommend this Company….

I ordered my wedding dress and I paid nearly £20 for delivery as they had an option to pay more for delivery within 3-7 business days!

Three weeks later and my dress arrived, it’s a beautiful fit and holds me in all the right places.

The issue….. the dress is absolutely covered in blue pen marks (looks like a bic), it’s a satin ivory dress and I’m now trying to find someone to help me remove the stains…. With only a few weeks until my wedding, I’m not happy!

I am absolutely appalled by this company. Save your time and money and do not buy from them. They have submitted false evidence to my bank in attempt to avoid honouring return laws.

I ordered a suit for a wedding from here as the pictures on their site and on the reviews looked amazing, however what I received felt more like a cheap costume of a suit. I was disappointed but decided to just return it and buy one elsewhere.

I emailed them the same day I received it with pictures to prove it was in the same condition and asked to initiate return. A week later I had no reply giving any information of a return address so I emailed again asking for an update. A further two weeks passed with no response so I opened a dispute on the charge with my bank to get my money back, as they clearly had no intention of upholding their end of the returns agreement.

Almost a month later, they have responded with fake evidence of an email with return instructions that I never received. I have been able to challenge this further and won the dispute as I was able to justify that their evidence was fake (no time, date or email addresses on their screenshot as well as the subject heading not matching the one I sent).

I am just very shocked and frustrated that they would be so disingenuous as to submit false evidence to avoid giving me a refund. Please don’t give your hard earned money to these scammers.

they didnt even try to send anything. penalized me for allowing THEM time to get their shit together. to the queen dancer team once someone hands you money, they expect a product or service. it's not a favor.

Presents as a uk webpage. Actually China with returns to the US. Massive con and offer you £24 to keep a £95 crap quality item if you wish to return. So basically they scam everyone by taking money for crap goods and refunding you a tiny portion back

Ordered from here because the website looked great and their online reviews looked good, with photos of, what looked like genuine people, wearing the dress.so went ahead and ordered my ‘mother of the bride ( groom’) dress.
I Instantly regretted it after reading the reviews on trust pilot and resigned myself to the fact that I’d just wasted over £100
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! I received my dress today, took about 8-10 days to come and I’m shocked! The quality is actually great, it has TWO layers of underskirt and then the over skirt making it weighty and gives it a feel of quality.
It has a hidden front. Bra and after close inspection of seams, hem and zip, I can literally find nothing wrong with it at all.
It looks the same as the photo on the website, maybe a little more material on the top part but when put on, looks and feels great.
I’ve given it 4 stars because it’s on the small side. I’d say a full dress size small but having said that, I had read the description on their website and it literally tells you to size up so the other reviews on here saying their dresses are completely the wrong size is due to them not reading the description properly in my opinion. All in all my experience with this company have only been positive and I would genuinely buy from here again.

this company is massive scam dont use them!! i arrived back off holiday and they said i only get 7 days to return the dress even though it took them four weeks to send out. over priced, the quality of the dress is poor NEVER USE THESE MASSIVE SCAMMERS!!!! NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS!!!

Garment arrived yesterday, far too small. Emailed them and requested the return address, they have suggested that I get a seamstress to make amends so it fits me! Still waiting for the return address, was not aware that this was a US based company and that I have to pay for the original delivery and the return and also a deduction for the return! Check their return policy before you buy, I won't be using them again.

If it were possible I would not give a one star rating. I received a dress that was not fit for purpose. One of the seams was partially sewn right side facing which suggests it had to be mended. Moreover the company knowingly sent out a dress that was of a poor mercantile standard.

The company declined liability consequently, I was liable for postage totalling over £90.00, including initial postal fee out to me.

Really disappointed with my experience.

Nowhere was it made clear that this is a US-based company, which led to unexpected issues with shipping. The refund/returns information is also very unclear, and I would end up having to pay additional costs just to get the item shipped to the US.

I paid £72 for a dress, and after raising these issues with them, the best they could offer was a £25 refund. That doesn’t come close to resolving the situation.

Overall, poor transparency and not a great customer experience. I won’t be buying from them again.

Terrible!

I ordered a UK size 14 2 Piece Light Pink High Neck Pleated Business Suits. from queendancer.co.uk on 27th of February, 2026 for an important event, paying £108.08. The dress arrived late but to my surprise it was not as described and completely the wrong size.

I immediately contacted the seller, sent photos, and explained the issue. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, I was offered three unacceptable options:

I requested for an address to send the package back to them but the address they sent to me to send the package back to was USA not United Kingdom address. I took the package off to post office and the fee to send off the package was way higher than the purchasing price. I wrote to them to tell them about the outcome and they sent this to me: “Furthermore, regarding the refund issue, without receiving the returned package, the maximum refund amount we can apply for is 27 pounds. Please understand this”

This is unreasonable and violates UK consumer law, which states that when a seller sends a faulty or incorrect item, they must cover the cost of return and provide a full refund.

I requested a UK return address to facilitate my refund, but the seller refused and continues to insist I pay international postage for their mistake. The lack of professionalism, accountability, empathy, honesty, and integrity has been surprising to me.

I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from this site. My experience has been stressful and disappointing. The product was not as described, and the customer service was unprofessional, disrespectful dismissive and unhelpful.

i ordered a mother of the bride dress in my size which is 16 but it arrived in a totally different size it arrived in terrible flimsy packaging i couldnt even fasten the dress! the contact is terrible with the company, asking to send photos, why you want to return, endless emails then i finally got authorised to return the dress! £42!! if i am refused a refund after doing everything they have asked i will be claiming a section 75 from my credit card provider!! avoid this company! shop in the uk!

Avoid like the plague. Terrible returns policy - they don’t tell you that you have to return items to the US. Terrible customer service.

Terrible! I ordered for my wedding, and the top was way too small, as 4 sizes smaller, I could not fasten. Tried to arrange return to a US address (def not UK based as web address would suggest) and even spent £30 postage, only for them to refuse to accept the return (pay $tax), and so the item was returned to me. I paid £200 for an item I can’t use, £30 to return and they are still asking me to return after refusing to accept it in the US. To me this is fraud. Return and refund made impossible. Stay well away!

Ordered a dress for my vacation and I was little worried because their reviews were bad. Today I received the dress and it looked exactly the same as picture and I love mine. It came faster than I thought. (Like a week)
