Does not refund even when they have a monster truck.. The only one out of order. Refusing my money back and only offering me to go to another event. DO NOT BOOK

Absolute scam of a company.

I bought tickets to this especially to see the monster truck. I’d heard rumours via social media that the monster truck was out of action the weekend before we were due to attend but RA monster events kept peddling the attraction via their social media presence. The owner of the truck then posted on their own socials that they had withdrawn from all events going forward. I received no communication from RA regarding this or regarding a change of schedule (which was essentially a bike show now) so I requested a refund for false advertisement. It took over a week for RA to acknowledge my request but did eventually say i was entitled to my money back. I filled in the form that they sent me and waited 30 days to receive an automated response to say my refund had been refused. I also did a charge back with bank - who also refused it because RA said they were dealing with it. They were not.

I have noticed that RA have also updated their terms and conditions to state that no refunds will be given in any circumstances and they have the right to change the schedule. It seems to me that this is a professional scammer. I wish I had researched before parting with my money as there are media reports about this company going back years.

Market Rasen event, cancelled Monster trucks in week leading up to event. Posted on social media that they knew people would be disappointed and if you wanted to not go and message for a refund they would understand. Messaged before event and replied to all messages quickly. The agreed refund on message and then refused refund 6 weeks later.

Warning to all!!! Don't book event tickets through this scam company. They cancel events due to completely poor organisation (basic failure to actually tell the local authorities the event was actually happening) and then refuse refunds. To everyone trying to get refunds, contact trading standards and initiate a charge back through your bank. Do not let them get away with scamming people!!!

My family and I had booked for the Monster truck show in August. We were offered a refund on the tickets due to the show not being as advertised, the monster truck was out of action. After many messages to the company via messenger, I filled in a refund request form and waited over 1 month to hear anything. Today received an email from them refusing the refund, despite previously offering it. I am currently £190 down.
Would not recommend this company.at all.

We booked a family ticket for an event at Market Rasen earlier this year. This event was cancelled without any notice and it was only by chance that we found out a week earlier that it had been cancelled. We could not get any information as to what was happening until after the actual date of that event had passed. Then we received an email saying our tickets would be valid at an event at the same location in August (3 months later) this was no use to us as we were away on holiday. So we asked for a refund several times with no response! Today 5 months after the original event
was cancelled I received a
response .

Really disappointed with how this was handled. I booked specifically because the Monster Trucks were the main reason we wanted to attend. When it became clear the show wasn’t going ahead as expected, I contacted RA Monster Events before attending and explained that we would no longer be coming.
They confirmed to me in writing that, because our tickets were unused and we had not attended, I could have either a full refund or future entry. I chose the full refund, completed the refund form they asked me to fill in, and was then told it was being processed.
Communication throughout has been extremely frustrating. At times I was waiting weeks for a response, having to chase repeatedly just to find out what was happening with the refund.
After waiting all that time, I was then told the refund had been refused and that their decision was “final” — despite them having already offered me a full refund in writing and me accepting it.
It’s not even about the money anymore, it’s the principle. If a business tells a customer they can have a full refund, the customer accepts it and follows the refund process they’re given, I don’t think it’s reasonable to make them wait weeks and then go back on what was agreed.
Really poor communication, unnecessarily drawn-out process and an extremely disappointing way to treat a customer.
Many other customers are having the same experience. DO NOT BOOK

Had a email to say they are not showing the monster trucks due to technical issues but can have a refund ..
After countless of messages and some not been responded .
Finally got a email saying no refund as part of there policy ! I say false advertisement and lack of compassion to people who have payed and not returning money in a rightfully manner .
Reported as scam and talking to small claim ..

Dont go to this over priced and false information event ...

If I could give less than 1 star I would. After changing the advertised event I was messaged and offered a refund which was gratefully received. 4 weeks later I was contacted to say that the refund was no longer being processed as I was not eligible and I can go to another event (nowhere near my area has an event) and not to reply or message them. Dreadful customer service would not recommend.

We booked a family a monster truck ticket for an event with this company. We then received an email to say that the monster trucks would not be available for the event and were advised that if we wanted a refund, to contact the company. After at least six weeks they emailed back to say that in line with their terms and conditions they would not issue a refund.
Reading the reviews about this company appears that this is common practice

This company deserves no stars at all. Went to a Monster truck event and was told after entering that the Monster truck would not be on. We not long after left. Extortionate prices for rides. No other entertainment as described and the characters werent even the correct ones. Dont admit fault when I told thwm I never received an email to let me know the Monster truck was not going to be there. Waste of time and money. After asking for a refund was told the final decision is they wont give me a refund but offer me to go somewhere else to get mugged off yet again. No thanks. Dont waste your money or your time...

Shocking event not as described, a very expensive fair at £5 per ride. There is only one monster truck which gives rides. The stunt show was poor and kept breaking. I would never recommend to go to this show. It was supposed to be a nice family day out and ended costing a lot of money that was after the queue outside the event for over half hour. I would not waste time engaging in the event. I have asked for my money back to be told this doesn't warrant a refund. Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY find a genuine event to take your family to.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Cancelled the event last minute and changed to a date that we could not attend. When I contacted them for a refund it took them 35 days to contact me back to tell me a refund can not be given. Absolutely appaling service. Disgusting to steal hard earned money off families looking for a nice day out in this financial climate. Never ever again will I book with them. Disguting

Event stated Monster Trucks but they did not attend. Email sent by them offering refund if customers didn’t want to attend due to advertised main attraction not being there. After requesting refund - 6 weeks later - they have refused and no appeal process. Just do not contact further as decision is final! Terrible customer service and even worse going back on email.

We booked this event specifically to see the monster truck, only to find out that it wasn’t going to be there. What’s even more disappointing is that we were not contacted directly about this important change.
We had already set off on the 1½-hour journey when we happened to find out through a Facebook post from someone else who was unhappy. Had we not seen that post, we would have travelled all that way without knowing.
We were told that if we were unhappy with the change, we could request a refund if we chose not to attend. Based on this, and after reading further reviews about the event, we decided to turn around and go elsewhere.
We have now requested the refund we were told we could have, only to be told they won’t refund us and instead are offering us a free ticket to another event.
Why would we want to attend another event when our experience has already left us completely put off? We booked this event for the monster truck, it was no longer attending, we weren’t properly informed, and we relied on the information given to us regarding a refund.
Very disappointing customer service and communication. We simply want the refund we were told we were entitled to.

I wish i could do 0 stars! DO NOT USE - We were due to attend a show in August however the show was then cancelled and moved to another date unfortunately we couldn’t make this as we were away so i emailed back to let them know that we would like a refund as it was no fault of our own. I then got a response to ask for our ticket details etc. i sent them straight back and didn’t hear anything for a few days so chased. They then responded on the 14th August to allow up to 10 working days for the refund. 10 working days on and we still hadn’t received anything so i chased again. To this day i still haven’t had a response and are now being ignored. I have emailed multiple times, messaged them on facebook, commented on facebook posts (along with many other people asking for responses!) and then found an alternative email on their website and forwarded the previous email thread on to them. Upon more investigation i am now seeing bad reviews and more and more comments on social media from customers asking for responses or not receiving their tickets after paying, do not bother!! I am absolutely disgusted that we aren’t the only people who are being ignored and are having trouble even getting a response in regards to getting our money back! I can’t believe they are getting away with this, it’s also extremely infuriating that they continue to post multiple times daily on social media but cannot respond to anybody because they know they’re in the wrong! Will never ever use them again. SCAM

Do not waste your money. Booked this for a day out with the kids who were looking forward to seeing the monster truck show for us to receive an email a couple of days before to say the ONE monster truck had broken down. As my children were no longer interested in going due to there not actually been a monster truck show, I requested a refund.
Communication was responded quickly in the first instance, I was asked to complete a form after providing all the information via messenger, I was then asked to provide it again and not heard a word since.
Suddenly email address is unmonitored and tells you not to expect a response, although they replied from there to start with. An automated message tells you to message on Facebook but you never get a response from Facebook.
Stay well away from this scam.

Terrible company postponed the show and didnt tell anyone we found out on there website to check the timetable of the day we have sent multiple emails and messages since august and haven't received one reply to give us our email do not book with this company they are terrible

Would say this is more a motorbike show, monster trucks were there however after the initial show went back to motorbikes etc again. Went on the truck ride and seatbelts were not checked ended up with a sore stomach where I kept sliding into belt strap.
Vendors over priced glorified funfair. Motorbike rider from isle of man made sexual comments towards women language not great in front of children. No bumblebee or Optimus prime wandering about. Most people had had enough by lunchtime and left. Very underwhelming shows not worth the money
