SCAM! Please do not part with your money! They havefrom us WE CANNOT get back… they don’t answer any messages, emails! The reviews are awful and Peter the CEO looks to be involved in several low rated companies! We have sort legal advice now and done a charge back. Seriously do not trust this company.

Very disorganised, the event was late opening as half (2) of the trucks were stuck on a lorry...however watching them unload was quite entertaining albeit nerve wracking and did result in questioning the whole events health and safety.

The stunts were underwhelming, largely bikes pulling wheelies and a few simple jumps. The monster trucks spent most of their short show getting unstuck...and you couldn't really hear what was happening as the narrator appeared to be using a bluetooth speaker rather than a PA system!

No trucks, bikes or vehicles that you can walk around either...it's basically a very expensive fun fair with some people riding bikes around in circles.

Most of the "attractions" were cash only and very expensive!

We left early after the monster trucks finished driving around in circles...most people had the same idea and we actually had to queue to leave the event because presumably soo many others were bored.

This is the first review I've written in 34 years of life...I just don't want anyone else to drive two hours there and back as well as pay the admission to watch what you can see in most supermarket car parks! Kids riding circles on bikes.

Honestly we have had an absolutely fantastic day! Ignore the negative comments. Yes the schedule changed, these things happen! But we still got to see all stunts and they were fantastic! Husband and wife show was hilarious! Food and fair rides a little pricey but thats the norm for any events like this. Something always going on, wrestling, live acts (my 2 year old loved Miss Rachel), stunts, foam party. Honestly we thought it was great and worth every penny. We paid £45 with the discount code for two adults and a child and we thought it was well worth it. Would definitely come again!

Disappointing day all round.
Very expensive food and fun fair. Coffee was undrinkable. Parking staff were flustered and getting into arguments with customers from 10am. Last minute, uncommunicated change to the schedule meant no monster truck displays in the morning at all. Husband and wife bike performance was frankly more sexist than entertaining. Wouldn’t recommend. If you’re planning this as a day out, think more shoddy travelling funfair + toy guns than wholesome family fun.

Motorfest was the most disappointing event I’be ever been; extremely overpriced, smaller than they make it look and the shows are not even shows. More like a podcast in real life, host would speak and speak but nothing would happen. Is more like a tiny fair for kids and the right plce if you want to waste time and money.
If you complaint, they will never return back to you. We left 1h after arriving and waiting 30min on a queue

If you are looking for great family fun for all ages this is the place to get booked into, we had the best day watching live shows, foam party, rides, food music and much more we loved it!

After buying tickets there was a whole explosion of comments on Facebook from customers complaining that the monster trucks would not be at the show. The company with the trucks refused to work with this event organiser so like many others who had not had any of this provided to them we set out for a refund.
This company basically by many of the reviews are a very expensive fun fair with high prices for the rides and a very poor show. I Would definitely look up all the reviews first and save your money. Also if anyone does book tickets with them be advised to check your bank account as this company put a subscription on my card so would be able to take money off card when they wanted. Don’t get coned.

Absolute con. Advertised heavily - even noted on the tickets - as a Monster Truck event.... it most certainly isn't. It's a travelling fair that you get in most towns with a single Monster Truck doing 3 minute rides for £12pp after an hours queue.

The only difference is that at this event you get to pay £75 for family parking!!! - complete rip off.

Rides are incredibly expensive.....

Dont waste your time or money.

Really wish I checked here first. This isn't a monster truck event at all, it's a very expensive fun fair.
There is one monster truck, and it's a ride along that cost £12pp.
Not exactly sure what the expensive entry fee is for.. but expect to pay a further £50+ on the day..

Massive waste of money.

When I buy a ticket for an event titled Monster Truck Motorfest I expect to see some Monster trucks! There was a single Monster Truck giving rides at £12 each - no monster truck shows or displays. I essentially paid to go into an overpriced fairground. There were motorcycle and mountain bike stunts, but that's not what the event was advertised as.

Advertised showing lots of monster trucks but only one at the event which you had to pay £12 per person to experience a ride on. Everything was overpriced, hook a duck £6! Rides 4 to 6 pounds. Drinks and food very expensive too. The Arena 'shows' were completely underwhelming. Don't bother.

Underwhelming. Essentially an overpriced fun fair. Parking control from the main road was poor. The events were ‘ok’ but not fantastic. Fairground rides were rarely visibly priced and all were expensive. Had entry been free this would have been fine, but paying the ticket fee atop overpriced food / rides etc means we won’t visit again. You could get a day out at a theme park for less.

Very poor, They advertise FREE parking, infact thats all your paying for, I visited St Albans today, one monster truck on site giving rides and an over priced fun fair, the arena had some poor displays that only used a small part of the arena, if you were the wrong side then you saw very little.
All in all imo a waste of money.

No monster truck show in a monster truck event -.-!! But ok i can understand that monster truck is broken unfortunately was the main event! No email at all to advice that the show is changed.
To ride the red dragon on the website was advertised as 10£ per person, surprise when is time to pay os 12£ per person.
No mrs rachel show on Sunday.
A lot of funfair scams.

No monster truck shows
When you arrive everything is a paid extra, when you arrive it’s basically a fun fair with a heavy entry fee

The only thing we enjoyed was a few motorbike displays however they were very short shows!
Very disappointed

Had no Monster Trucks at a Monster Truck event in Birmingham and offered everyone full refunds.. great? Except they won't respond to any email at all... over weeks. Had to charge back from my bank. Absolute scammers

Event was postponed with 2 days notice as they had not organised safety certificates. We couldn’t attend the new date so requested refund, 1 month later still no refund. Ignore messages, when they do reply they ask for personal details and order number over and over. Keep asking are you sure you want a refund. I’ve asked over and over politely and been patient and considerate but they are using delay tactics and I don’t believe I’m ever getting my money back. Dispute filed with bank. Such a shame they made it look great, looks like they’ve done this before under a different name. Actually glad our event got cancelled as this is a scam they pull over and over all around the country.
Edit: dispute with bank successful

Shocking. No monster trucks just a very expensive fair! Family ticket over £70. I feel totally ripped off.

Awful Experience. Scam company. AVOID!!

Not informed no monster trucks at the MONSTER truck event. Not told this via email before, nothing at the event to say this either. So we entered event to find this out later.

Also found their FB post after we had been saying no monster trucks but to make up for it could have a ride on the one working truck and rides all had 50p off. None of the ride operators honoured this - completely dishonest and deceptive.

Whole event seems to be less about giving customers and kids a good day out but more just about how much money they can make.

False Advertising and Setup Rigged Scam.

Going to keep this as simple and factual as possible. I attended the Birmingham event on 16th August. The monster trucks were cancelled. I was not informed about this prior, or at the gates.

I contacted them for a refund. They refused refund on the basis that the tickets were scanned and claimed all customers were informed of the monster trucks cancellation prior. This seems to be untrue when many customers are complaining they were never informed.

Having scanned tickets isnt a basis to refuse refund, its only proof we attended. We attended on the pre-tense of monster trucks - which there wasnt. They claim that there was other activities around so we are charging you partially for this. This is a get out of jail card because that isnt the pretense as to why customers bought tickets.

I had a long back and forth with them over facebook, they just regurgitating the same generic responses without directly tackling my objections or questions.

Its like talking to a brick wall.

Let me leave you with a simple analogy;

If i sell tickets for a theme park and the rides are cancelled. I fail to inform my customers prior or at the gate. Then, my customers scan their tickets under the pre tense of a theme park as advertised. Is it fair for me to only offer them a 50% refund on the basis of there being a few other activities and stalls around when the main advertisement was theme park rides?

Please answer with a Yes or No.
