I sent my payment in plenty of time to be rec'd after checking with both postal services-Canadas & US BUT it took a month for payment to be rec'd & posted to my acct. Apparently payment has to be sent to Florida & held in lock box in Georgia for who knows how long before being forwarded & posted @ Berkshire Mtn. Resort. Even Well Fargo horse & buggy was faster! As a result after all the BS I'm charged $7.95 for late fee. I guess they're building up their coffee fund or Christmas fund!

es de lo peor del mundo, llevo 41 cuotas de 48, llamo solicitando un descuento desde el 29 de mayo del 2025, hoy han pasado 7 días y nunca dan respuesta de nada, solo ganando tiempo para cobrar intereses sobre la deuda, ni siquiera diciéndole que les va a llegar plata que tanto le encanta quitarle a la gente, porque ya libraron el dinero que desembolsaron de este crédito y llamar al servicio al cliente es aún más deprimente porque te hacen esperar, te transfieren del uno al otro y nunca dan respuesta, la misma carreta de siempre que ya se la sabe uno de memoria. POR FAVOR NO CAIGAN EN ESTA TRAMPA TAN TERRIBLE ES LO PEOR QUE PUEDEN HACER Y SE VAN A LAMENTAR SIEMPRE. Como lo estoy yo 😞

RCI the WORST
Every 2 years you have a fee, which really isn't that big of a deal, however just booked a vacation for October on May 21st, I went to ask about moving my date for hotel by 2 days and they want another 300-exchange fee because it has been over 1 day since booking. ONE DAY! most hotels you can change the reservation up to 24 hours before check in.
They literally try and nickel and dime everything.

I have tried for an hour to get basic information out of this resource with absolutely no success. It is quite apparent that the search engine, the options provided are antiquated by modern standards providing unsatisfactory results.

Feel free to try and get frustrated.

PESSIMO dal mio punto di vista. RCI non è più la stessa. Da quando hanno messo i punti anzichè le settimane per lo scambio vacanze, non si trova più niente. Molti soci si sono cancellati per questo motivo e si sono iscritti con altri scambio vacanze. Segnalato più volte, ma inutilmente. Era meglio prima con lo scambio settimane perchè trovavi sempre quello che volevi. Chi ha deciso che la tua settimana vale X punti?. C'è disparità con lo scambio vacanze. Wir sind gestern in Playa del Ingles ( Gran Canaria) auf der Promenade angesprochen worden, angeblich haben wir mit einem Los eine Smartwatch oder eine Woche Urlaub gewonnen. Dafür müssten wir im Atlantic Beach Club eine 90minütige Führung mitmachen, müssten aber nix kaufen, wir sollten nur mitspielen. Wir waren leider zu naiv und haben 90Minuten verschwendet.
Franz führte uns durch die Anlage, die man angeblich nirgendwo buchen kann, außer man ist im Besitz der Stammkundenmitgliedschaft. Diese könne man aber nur erwerben, wenn man bereit sei 1 Woche im ABC Urlaub zu machen und danach 3Wochen in den 4100Anlagen von RCI. Dieses 4Wochen kosten 5400€....2700€ Anzahlung werden sofort fällig. Das Hotel sei ausgebucht und man wolle sich die Gäste aussuchen, deshalb seien erst 4Wochen auf Probe notwendig. Entscheiden müsse man sofort. Wir haben in der 3minütigen Entscheidungsphase gegoogelt, ein Glück!!!! Das Hotel ist übrigens ganz normal bei Booking.com zu buchen, billiger als der angebliche Schnäppchenpreis.
Finger weg!!!! Wir waren heute nochmal bei den Losverteilern und haben ihnen den angeblichen Gutschein für 1Woche Urlaub überreicht mit unserer Kritik , die sachlich vorgetragen war. Natürlich gab es kein Einsehen, aber das haben wir auch nicht erwartet. Dennoch wollten wir das nicht unkommentiert stehen lassen.

Getting Hotels through RCI is a joke. You can get them cheaper through one of the travel sites. By the time you "save" $5.-$10. on a room and pay the transfer fee you are paying way to much. When I first got a timeshare I was able to use unlimited points towards flights, car rentals, Hotels. Now they only let you use a minimal Amount of points that's not worth the time. And a lot of the resorts you use to be able to go to you have to pay more plus your points, unless you want to upgrade. So the membership you joined is no longer the membership you signed up for.

From Sweden: I became a member some months ago just to try it out, and so far I cannot see any advantages. First of all the website, on a mobile phone, is a disaster, and in Sweden we apparently cannot download the app. Every time I try a search, it takes ages to reach a site, it is impossible to make multiple choices and suddenly the site is totally frozen or you are kicked out from the it and must start the login process all over again - only to go through every step again. Second, with RCI weeks I must say that there are not so many offers anyhow. Many are far away and flights are super expensive, others are only with all inclusive, not making it cheaper than a regular charter trip. Many locations are also a bit “off track” and to reach them would still cost a lot. I only paid a two year membership, which I honestly do not know if I will be able to use at all. I should rather have kept my own accommodation. Will give it a chance, but so far, nothing I would really recommend.

One star is more than this company deserves. We paid to become Hyatt members, were promised two free weeks as part of our RCI bonus days and have not been able to use our free travels days whatsoever! The Contract does not specify that our RCI days could NOT be used on international resorts, and we were told during the presentation that we could use our days for Interntional travel- we've tried booking to no avail. Additionally, I advised a UVC representative that a travel agent quoted an amount less than we received as members and he informed me that because the quote was not published on a public website, they would not price match. Complete waste of money and would not recommend!

The biggest bunch of shikesters you can imagine awful problems cancelling a deceased relatives account..
Please, whatever you do avoid this rip off like the plague

I wish I could get rid of my timeshare. By the time I pay the maintenance fee, RCI’s membership fee, exchange fee, plus other RCI extortionate fees, I end up with a far worse deal than I would get from Airbnb, booking.com etc
RCI sell timeshare holidays as extra, for extra fees, instead of releasing them for the exchange pool.
Timeshare was probably a reasonable idea 25 years ago when I bought it, even though RCI exchange system has proved to be a big failure. But nowadays, we have much better and cheaper options online ☹️

I declined the service and told them they can not call me. They called about 10 times after. I called them back 10 times to show them how it feels to be annoyed. The guy called me back and was reading my Facebook posts to me. Then he calls now daily from blocked number and sometimes I answer to hear the voice Same guy calls. Usually about midnight east coast time. I think retaliation for not accepting their package vacation is pretty foul. 95% of the calls I push through. I only usually answer to record the call with an external recorder. Pretty pathetic.

went to site for help about getting 6-8 calls a day, was gave the run around.
called and was hung up on, recalled and was told go to web site that told me to call

Te lo pintan todo muy bonito pero es todo mentira. Un vez quieres usarlo y estar pagando cada mes, no tienes los descuentos que te dicen, ni los hoteles, ni beneficios... Estás pagando una cuota cada mes en vano. Llamas atención al cliente y te tratan de tonta y que esto es así... ES TODO UNA ESTAFA/FRAUDE. Lo llevaremos por vía judicial.

This is horrible well at least the Representative did not do well to inform us we can’t even use it where we told them we wanted to travel to. Somerpointe sold it to us at Tajiti Village and they ripped us off because this is a $10,000 membership we can’t even find use for. We don’t want it anymore and can’t even reach customer services for this problem we have. Nobody will help us. They need to take their membership back we don’t want it its no good for us and if we would have known we wouldn’t have bought it!

Bad deal, fee after fee, all confusing (intended?).

Stay away, and if u can, get out of your timeshare.

Wyndham is a good name; they should drop RCI like a hot potato.

RCI didn’t get us the exit they promised . Signed up for our exit process for 9 months and nothing progressive was done. Wasted a lot of time and money with this company. I would not recommend to anyone !. We offloaded our timeshare obligations completely December 2024 with the help of a private investigator team named forexfraudteam. They helped us look into our timeshare and found legal faults in our contract . They used this information to request a full cancellation of contract. We got documentations to that effect 3 weeks after and didn’t have to pay near as much as RCI charged us for nothing. If you’re looking for a real solution to timeshare hostage situation, I’ll recommend you share your story with ForexFraudTeam at gmail com.

This is a waist of money and time, you are given points & can't use all of the points when you want, customer service is horrible & none of my questions were answered Biggest regret of my life. Be warned, do not use this company!!!!!!!!! You save absolutely no money, but have to pay thousands to get out of the contract.
