This is the worst app I’ve ever used; it’s very difficult to submit receipts. And when I finally reached $50, they cancelled my account and didn't give me the money. They just sent me an email and cancelled it; I appealed, but they cancelled it anyway.

I hate it when they say that my receipts are duplicates im only using ONE card in all my purchases hahs

Leider kann ich auch nur bestätigen, dass die App seit ein paar Wochen immer schlechter wird.
Bons werden mit falschen Beträgen gelesen oder auch mal gar nicht angenommen.
Punkte aus Umfragen oder Kontoverknüpfungen werden gar nicht erst gut geschrieben und der Support antwortet entweder mit vorgefertigten Mails oder es kommt gar keine Antwort.
Neu-Installation hat daran auch nichts geändert.
Schade eigentlich.

Been trying for months to get a confirmation text or call to confirm my phone number, nothing happens. I have points to redeem. They learn a lot about you with these receipts.

It's been an OK receipt reward app, but becoming less useful over time due to failure to update. For Android phones, it is designed to be compatible with versions 4-9, all of which are ancient. I have version 15. Scanning paper receipts still works, but it won't connect to online merchants (like Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.) with modern Android phones anymore.

Haven't cashed out yet but it does seem to credit very little for each reciept you take a picture of on the app (Just to make $5 is a high mountain to climb). I also noticed a lot of my reciepts don't go through. Will see if it gets better, if not i'm deleting it and i have many accounts connected to it (Grocery stores, Amazon etc.)

PS Nice that it's a Canadian app

Anfangs alles super, aber jetzt...ca. 3 Wochen nur noch Probleme und wenn man den Kundensupport kontaktiert, kommt nur eine automatische Antwort

Ich bin echt mega enttäuscht!!

Ich kann mich hier nur den Leuten anschließen die davon berichten das Kassenbons nicht anerkannt oder falsch gelesen werden. Die ersten 1000 Punkte waren okay, aber jetzt seit 14 Tagen nur noch Probleme! Ich kann teilweise nicht mal melden das Kassenbons nicht korrekt verbucht werden! Einfach ärgerlich und Zeitverschwendung! Schade denn die Idee an sich ist nicht schlecht.

A while back I had put my points toward a 40.00 dollar gift card and never received it.
Please help me.

Receipt hog is terrible. I took time to scan my receipts only to get response by saying store threshold which I don't even know what that means. If you buy multiple times in same store and forgot few things then go back same time they don't include the other receipts and mark it as store threshold and use the smaller amount than bigger amount for more points. Sometimes the store receipt date lable in number as supposed to month for example, May 4, 2026 ( 5/4/ 2026) it will read it as April 5, 2026 and mark it as expired date.

Lately they keep trying to give tickets instead of points for purchases. They keep marking receipts as old that are brand new. The vibe is becoming scammy and dishonest. I will be cancelling soon if it doesn’t change.

Doesn’t process receipt timely, e receipts never gives credit unless the transaction was through the square, and doesn’t always recognize dates on receipts. I don’t recommend.

Receipt Hog is terrible. They got the wrong name and whenever I have it correct and it say it duplicate. Receipt date was on 3/28/2026 that it had the wrong name in it and it should be Sno Cafe for $19.65. Also, there's no customer service to contact to have this correct except through the app itself.

Der allerletzte Mist, wollte Punkte einlösen und bekomme seit etlichen Wochen auf angeforderten Code weder eine sms noch einen Anruf, das stinkt dermaßen nach Abzocke!!!

Not pressednwith Receipt Hog! So tired of submitting receipts to only end up being rejected when another receipt app is use [accepts them. Now I'm getting e-receipts rejected because they're illegible and a receipt rejected for store threshold.

Cheating me out of receipts. Bad customer service. Awful.

I cant go to customer service if the service is simply an email with vague answers. You guys just don’t care.

Horrible App and Horrible Support. You have to be a Software Engineer in order to link an app or an email account. The rewards are horrific...

This app absolutely sucks. I have scanned well over 3 thousand receipts and I never get any points to be able to cashout. The app is 100% a scam and a mkney farm for the creators of the app since they never wanna be giving cashouts.
