Excellent service

The Eddinburgh branch of Richer Sounds is a great shop. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff and good selection of kit.

I was only 'browsing' in the store, when my eye caught a Magnetar Blu Ray player on offer.
The colleague gave me a detailed description of the players video quality and more importantly, its audio playback, highlighting the DAC. If that wasn't enough, I was treated to a little 'viewing session' in the onsite bespoke cinema room!! That sealed it for me.

Great advice on getting started with a turntable.

Hi picture quality superb but the sound was poor but Paddy from customer service solved the problem with a free soundbar 5 star service from Paddy from Richer Sounds.

First time in shop I asked for QED speaker cable but told it was not in stock but the guy would sell me another different type but didn't look that good, so helpful good. What was not helpful was not to mention that I could order it for click and collect - bad. Having resolved that I would buy loudspeaker wire from B&Q I had another look at the Richer Sounds website and discovered that I could order which was good. When the acknowledgement email arrived I did not see any details of expected delivery - bad. I received an email from DPD/richerSounds confirming they were awaiting uplift of the parcel - good. Received aphone call from the store to indicate that the parcel was ready for uplift but I missed the call - good. Immediately I received an email informing me of the same - very good. I have changed the star rating and moderated the review following a discussion with the company. they do take customer satisfaction seriously and are looking to tidy up some of the points raised. I also think that with this occurring over bank holiday it made the defining of a delivery date a little difficult. Overall I got the cable I needed and the the very good attitude to ensure I was notified that the cable was ready for me are strong positives

Excellent service all round. The website experience was easy, the price I paid was the best available and the store pick up was painless. This was my first purchase from Richer Sounds - Edinburgh but it wont be my last.

First, you shouldknow that I never give scores 5 out of 5, or 10 out of 10, so the 4 stars I gave Richer Sounds is for all intents and purposes is an excellet score.
Selecting the item was simply done. Paying for the item was likewise. Arranging delivery to the UK address, especially when the order came from Australia was, again, simply done.
The item was delivered well before the indicated date on the invoice. Thank you for that.
All in all a seamless, trouble free, pleasant retail experience.

Enjoyed going into the store to be welcomed by music (not overpowering) and a great team. I have very little technical knowledge about anything that the store sells and here I feel they really know about their products and the technology involved. It took me back to the days when you could go into a store and know the advice you were given could be relied upon and was backed up by thorough knowledge. There was no pressure to buy and I was able to ask as many questions as needed to understand about the equipment that I was buying. Bowie was an excellent advisor and I am so pleased with my purchase and will be back for more. I won't go anywhere else and it is so great to be able to deal with a person and not just make an online purchase.
