Had a very satisfactory conversation with a polite and considerate member of staff who was able to use his considerable knowledge to reassure me regarding the TV I wanted to purchase

I recently bought a Hisense TV 75U8QTUK and Hisense sound bar from Richer sounds at Maidstone store. Having looked at same TV elsewhere, Richer sounds were the cheapest. Ben the store manager was very helpful and explained the details and different brands very well . The picture and sound quality of my TV is just amazing. I highly recommend this TV and also Richer sounds 👍

Friendly, knowledgeable service. Demonstration of equipment was arranged at fairly short notice, very important before spending a few hundred pounds. Also very quick delivery arranged.

Staff in the Maidstone store were very helpful and knowledgeable. They sold us what we needed without any attempt to upsell to something else. Really good service, would definitely recommend.

Very much enjoyed exploring all the options with the sales guy. He didn't do any sugar coating and gave me good honest facts about the product, so that I could make my decision without being pushed.
I would certainly recommend richer sounds as I have always experienced a great service when choosing a number of items in the past and more recently.

Greeted on entry to the store, left to browse until I was ready to ask questions. Staff very knowledgeable in all brands and a good technical understanding. Never felt any pressure to buy there and then. Phoned my order through the next day. Staff well spoken and patient. Got an amazing set up exactly for what I required. Good contact delivered to store. Even helped me load up my car.

Great service from 3 members of the Maidstone team. I was originally served by Ben who price matched and sourced the product I wanted from another store.
Followed up by Simon when I called into the store a few days later as I'd not received them. After phoning the other branch, it transpired that they'd erroneously sent them to the Maidstone store, which were quickly retrieved.
I couldn't then get them to work and phoned Maidstone and spoke to Joe who was happy to order me another pair or offer me a refund. In the event I went into the store and was again served by Ben who immediately identified I'd not removed the transparent plastic ear protectors!

When I had trouble setting up my new system Ben the manager at Maidstone was extremely helpful and didn’t once get cross with all my questions. Piers who I originally dealt with at Maidstone was extremely helpful and also struck me to be very knowledgeable and intelligent. It seems that your team at Maidstone work exceptionally hard and for that they deserve a great deal of praise. I would definitely recommend Richer Sounds to friends and family and I believe Richer Sounds to be far superior to their competitors; for example Currys or Seven Oaks Hi -Fi. Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to everyone at your Maidstone store.

Able to order online to collect from store. Staff very helpful. Great customer service on the phone & in person. Steve helped me carry the tv out to my car & guided me how to carry/place safely.

staff pointed out the differences about the two produces i was looking at.

I went to the Maidstone store to get a upgrade cartridge for my teac tn 350 turntable , the team advised me to upgrade the turntable to the argon TT 3 plus , a bit more expensive than a cartridge but I am glad I did, it was a massive step up and the sound was an amazing difference. Thanks team another happy customer.

We were planning to buy a large TV for a long time. After lots of research and thinking we decided to buy a TCL 85 inch. I got a price match and at no extra cost, Richer Sounds provided 6 years guarantee while all other dealers had 2 years.

I ordered the TV & a wall bracket through phone. They also gave a £20 discount on the wall bracket

I had a generally positive experience at Richer Sounds. The staff were knowledgeable and inspired confidence through their expertise. I asked a lot of questions and received thorough, detailed explanations, which was especially helpful as someone who is not particularly knowledgeable about the products.

Initially, I felt slightly rushed, but this was later addressed and the service improved significantly.

The only disappointment came after I had purchased two products. I was informed afterwards that the second item was not actually in stock due to a supply delay, which I had not been expecting. I was also told that there was one unit available in the back, but it had been reserved for another customer despite no payment or deposit having been made. In my view, that item should have been made available to me. As a result, I now have to wait around a month for delivery.

Despite this issue, the staff were very professional and accommodating throughout. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily shop there again.

03/06/26 – I received a call from an employee at Richer Sounds informing me that my other order was available in Southampton. I was given the option of either collecting it from the Maidstone branch, where I was advised it would be available from approximately 12:00 pm on 4 June, or having it delivered to my home address. As I was due to be in the area, I agreed to collect the item on 4 June.

04/06/26 – After contacting the store on three occasions, at approximately 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm, I was informed each time that the item had still not arrived and that DPD deliveries were delayed. Naturally, this was both disappointing and frustrating, particularly as I had been assured the previous day that the item would be available for collection from around midday.

Naturally, this causes disappointment and frustration and in my circumstances a poor use of time when you are informed that it would be available from 12 pm today. The information provided did not meet or effectively manage reasonable customer expectations. Following further discussion, I was advised that the store would contact me once the item was in stock in Maidstone and arrange delivery to my home address on a mutually convenient date and time. I look forward to what could possibly go wrong next. I fully appreciate this is beyond the control of the company and they did consider alternative options. I’ve no alternative but to now reduce this experience down to two stars. My other positive comments above still stands.

I’m delighted to report that I have successfully received my CD player which although took some time has finally got here and I’m entirely happy. I would recommend richer sounds for their customer support and knowledge.
