We've just had a Rockdoor fitted by TL window services whole process was fantastic from start to finish. The door ( we chose the vermont in light oak )i is completely amazing and has excelled our expectations. The locking system is really fantastic with numerous locks for added security. Absolutely love this back door for my late mums house the stunning Cottage View Light with Cat Flap, after 26 years of having an old wooden door that had gaps in and was letting all the cd in. my late mums partner is very pleased with it and highly recommend Rockdoors 👌☺️

I was a little reluctant if I’m being honest. They look like a great door and the security is supposed to be excellent. But they’re not the cheapest door and whatever you choose you’re stuck with. Decisions, decisions

I did my research and I still always came back to looking at a Rockdoor. So I went for it.

Super impressed, the difference it made to the noise level’s from outside, that cold spot you get behind your door disappeared and when you close and lock it, it just feels secure and the look on the neighbours faces, when you know that they know you’ve just upped the game

So impressed I got myself a back door too and my mum popped one on her house too “Best door on the street” she says proudly

Recently had two Rockdoors fitted to my property and I must say the difference in Quality compared to my UPVC doors is amazing. The noise reduction too is great.

I have just had fitted the 'Newark' Rockdoor after having issues with a composite door that was fitted 9 years ago. The quality is amazing compared to our last door. It opens and closes easy and looks incredible.

Really disappointed with our door and service from this company. We have been complaining ever since it has been installed that it expands in the heat. They tell us it is a problem with the installation- which we have checked twice. Installation is perfect! The door is not fit for purpose. We want an exchange and this company will not supply one. Their warranty is worthless. Avoid.

Had Rock doors fitted to the front and back of the house , really pleased with the excellent quality and fit of the doors.
We used Broadview Windows ( one of their recommended fitters) and they were absolutely brilliant.
Nothing was too much trouble for Terry and Steve, they overcame an unforeseen problem and resolved the issue with minimum fuss.
They cleaned up behind them and left everything spotless ,would highly recommend.

Recent Rock Door fitted by approved fitter Gary Parker. The door is gorgeous and fabulous quality, the fitting was exceptional. Very pleased.

I paid a lot of money for a Rock Door, to be fitted, and had nothing but trouble with hinges, alightment and the latest it the draft excluder fitted under the door required changing, fitters took it off to order the new part, 6 months ago, Rock still not proving the part, even when I said I would pay for it, we are in our 70s and we have 1" 1/2 gape under door, our living room is like living with a door open, the draft cuts right through us, our heating bills are over £220 amonth due to this, and we still can not get the part,
This company is the worst I have ever bought from.

We've had a new rockdoor fitted about 6 months ago now and continually have problems with the bottom hinge where it seems to come loose and drop the door so it's out of alignment. We've had the hinge replaced three times now and the hinge drops 2-3 times a week leaving us unable to shut the door and from a security point of view this is dreadful. Rockdoor won't speak to us so we are reliant on a very busy and short of time installer and in the meantime we are left with this continuous problem. I really regret buying a rockdoor now which is a shame as it is an attractive door and sold to us as being of high quality.

I bought a rock door approximately 3and half year ago recommended by my builder who renovated our bungalow. We thought we bought a door with a 10 year warranty but turns out not everything has a 10 warranty as our builder did not pass on the warranty leaflet to us. We have had issues with the door opening after being locked and the lacquer on the door handles chipping and discolouring.we contacted our builder who is next to useless at adjusting the door he has fitted on as an approved fitter for GAP.
I contacted GAP about the issues who just told me to contact my installer or as they called him , their customer.trying to contact their customer DBHuntley Ltd my installer is harder than speaking to King Charles.i have found out that the door needs adjusting which is down to their customer,my builder and the door handles called furniture only have a 2 year warranty unlike the door which is advertised with a 10 year warranty.So I am left with a bill for new door handles which I didn’t know only has a 2 year warranty and a door needing adjustment that my installer who has been allowed by GAP to fit their rock door so I assume he is approved but it appears he isn’t he is just a builder.He is not on their trusted installer list .
Nobody at GAP branch or the installer told me about warranty limitations on the components on the door .

So I own a house with a Rockdoor front door. (Installed before I purchased the house) The glass has smashed in the front door and I've just found out that due to Rockdoor's ridiculous S-Glaze technology I am unable to just replace the glass and will have to fork out for an entire new door. This won't be another Rockdoor.

Fitters turned up on time, fitted the door within the day and left the site as they found it. I made various Add Hoc requests re the old door all accommodated. Perfect well done GAP !

I purchased my rock door in 2015. Due to bowing, warping etc I have had it replaced a few times I am now on my 5th. The last was fitted in 2019 by Gap themselves, change of style and a new frame. I was assured that this one is the ‘Rolls Royce’ of doors and there wouldn’t be any further issues.
This has now bowed and is cracking, basically I have been told by Gap customer services I need a new front door.
My original door was sold by Gap to the retailer in 2013 therefore they have now stated I am no longer under warranty, obviously only buying the door in 2015 I wasn’t aware of this. As Gap fitted the current door in 2019 I now have a door that is only 5 years old and needs replacing! As a goodwill gesture they have sent an engineer to try to adjust the door, this has caused issues in Itself. My advice is do not buy a rock door! They are very expensive and not fit for purpose I thought I would have this door for the foreseeable not 5 years.

We had a Rockdoor fitted a few years ago and it has got worse and worse to close, I thought it may have warped and tried to contact the company that installed it who had ceased trading therefore meaning I had no warranty. I contacted Gap, the door manufacturer. They confirmed I had no warranty but Jason from Gap took on my case and arranged for the issue to be rectified by a local installer. Contact from Jason was excellent and he kept me informed of the situation with my repair throughout. The door was fixed and fits better than when it was new.

This is an update to my other posts about my Rockdoor. I took Gap the retail part of Rockdoor to the small claims court. I won the case in full as I proved the Rockdoor they supplied me was not fit for purpose. Jason at Rockdoor told me I could not claim as I bought the door in my business name and a business to business contract isn’t covered by the consumers rights act shame he couldn’t tell the truth. Gap/Rockdoor did attend court to defend the case but lost. I have had a new door fitted called comp door and I have no problems with the door. In my opinion the comp door is by far a superior quality product. They claim that they have solved the problem of their doors bowing but I proved in court they haven’t as mine bowed twice. They hide behind the fitting of the door but mine wasn’t the fitting it was just a very poor product. Just as I thought Jason still cannot tell the truth. The rock door was not fitted by myself but fitted by professional composite door fitters. The judge made the decision on an independent inspection by by a professional expert who expressed how poor quality the door was. Rockdoor/Gap took there expert to court but he failed to answer some very simple questions the judge asked. Jason just admit the truth the door was of extremely poor quality

After previous issues and mishandling my issues are now resolved, and I have a door to be proud of.
