Nat is great, super friendly and gave us all the information we needed!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nat from Rooms4u to find a house to rent, and I must say that the entire experience was exceptional. Nat’s professionalism, dedication, and knowledge of the real estate market made the process smooth and stress-free.

From the very beginning, Nat took the time to understand my specific requirements and preferences for a rental property. Nat was incredibly responsive to my inquiries and consistently kept me updated on new listings that fit my criteria.

Rooms4u have been awful since the start of my tenancy. When I first moved in I'd been promised that my flat had been "professionally cleaned" but when I got there the oven was dirty along with the stove and the microwave; my fridge freezer was dirty and the drawers of the freezer were frozen shut. The shower was also mouldy and after a few weeks of living there the sink began to get blocked in the bathroom and long blonde hairs starting coming up through the plug hole (I had red hair at the time). I had a parcel stolen from outside my front door and reported it to rooms4u and absolutely nothing was done about it and they also did nothing about a neighbour having their bike stolen later on in the year. I've had staff members come in to my flat on a few occasions to fix maintenance issues or to give viewings without letting me know prior or not giving me 24 hours notice like they are legally supposed to. I also had silverfish several times throughout my lease and one of the solutions to fix the problem was to reseal my shower rather than killing them. During my lease I also had an email that was allegedly sent to all residents of the building (I know it wasn't as I knew a few people who lived in the building at the time) that singled out me and my partner thag occasionally stayed of using drugs in my flat. This came after they had several complaints from a friend of mine about another flat further down in the building. There were also several hazards in the building including a main door that never shut and locked properly so members of the public could just come in at any time if they tried to push the door, the cupboard that contained everyone's gas meters always had a ridiculous amount of rubbish in it including ladders, a hair salon stool, microwaves and exposed wires and light bulbs left on the floor and nothing was done about it until the last week. As well as this the maintenance team would leave rubbish from flats in the hallway including broken fridge freezers, mattresses and TVs. I had a friend unknowingly register to view a flat in my building and rather than showing them the 2 bed flat they had registered to view they were shown my 1 bedroom flat without me knowing until they had told me they had been in my flat as they recognised photos of me and my friends. Luckily I wasn't in at the time but again, this is breaking the law as I was given no notice and they had shown someone round without my knowledge. After mentioning this to who was showing them around they were told they couldn't be shown the correct flat and were offered a house share in another part of the city. All in all they are not a well ran business at all, sometimes I would have to email 2 different people the same thing to hear a response or they would take days to solve maintenance issues or just completely ignore emails. With saying that, Nat is the only person who works there that is helpful. She came out to my flat to assess maintenance issues that had been on going since the start of my tenancy and reported all the issues for me to get them sorted and ensured me that I wouldn't be charged for any of the maintenance and decor issues that had been there since before I'd moved in and she's the only reason this review is 2 starts.

Nat did my viewing and was very polite and took her time to show me around and was very friendly! Would recommended 💯

Great experience viewing properties, Harvey was very knowledgable about the houses and quick to respond to any questions we had (which was a lot)!!! He tried very hard to get us the best deal we could which was much appreciated especially as we were looking so last minute.

Great experience, great landlords

Before moving into my property with rooms4u, I was faced with three days of having nowhere to stay due to my previous tenancy contract with a different company. I explained the situation to rooms4u and they helped straight away with my issue and were able to accommodate my issues right away. They were so helpful and never made me feel like a problem. They also responded to all of our emails and questions so quickly and helpfully. I’m looking forward to live with them this year.

I have been with rooms4u for second year and now third year they have been very helpful and informative, any maintenance issue is delt with efficiently the response time is really great. The landlords are really lovely and nice.

Natalie had been extremely helpful in the hunt for a house for my third year university accommodation. She has gone above and beyond to find everything I was looking for. Rooms4U has been a great experience!

Sam Harrison was particularly helpful in showing me the possible options and quickly sorted out a contract to suit my requirements. He was a huge help throughout the whole experience.

I went for a viewing at 11am. The occupant thought the viewing was at 1pm so I was asked to come back in 2 hours. I waited around and came back went for the viewing. I said I wanted to rent the property after the viewing and was told to phone the office. Phoned the office and was told that they would send over the contract when the guy came back. Then got a phone call saying that the person after me said they wanted the property on the viewing and they would be getting priority. Even though I was firstly meant to be viewing the property two hours earlier and I had also expressed at my viewing I wanted to rent the flat and was told to call the office. Overall just a really frustrating and disappointing experience, I would definitely never go back or recommend them.

Jo was amazing throughout the whole process of me and my partner viewing the property and signing the contract! She was very helpful and communicative throughout. Everything was done promptly after deciding to take the flat and made very easy for us. A real credit to the company!

Sam was really helpful and provided all the information we needed. The viewing was pretty easy to book and we were guided through the next stages of the process making things much easier.

David was really helpful, and contacted me through the entire process, great service!
