I worked with Kira, a specialist for Latin America, on a trip of a lifetime in Patagonia. I usually am a “self-sufficient” traveller, and I am typically happy to research and plan on my own. I knew I didn’t want to join a large tour group, and I had very specific dates I set aside for this trip. Kira took all my asks and requests into account and built a perfect itinerary around my budget. The experience was hassle-free, I felt so relaxed knowing all I had to do was wake up, show up and get whisked away. There was no need to coordinate with anyone - local teams on the ground reached out to me and made sure everything went smoothly. I’d highly recommend Scott Dunn to any type of traveler - young, old; solo, group; adventurous or not. And I would love to work with Kira again — I really appreciated that she had first hand experience with everything on my itinerary so she could recommend the best hikes to sign up for, and talk me through what to expect once I got to Argentina, even outside my planned itinerary.

The trip planning was perfect, we new exactly what to expect and there were only nice surprises during our trip :-) From the first stages of the planning until we returned home the service from Scot Dunn was impeccable!

1. Everything you promised was delivered. You heard what we wanted and you crafted a trip that met our goals.
2. The logistics of the travel were flawless. Every pick up, every transport was right where they said they would be at exactly the prearranged time. This made for a totally worry free trip.
3. The accommodations were superb but I would like to highlight some things. The locations were truly perfect. All four hotels made sightseeing so convenient. The service was all that I could have expected. But let me single out La Bandita and Hotel Monti. The staff were extremely solicitous and eager to make our visit spectacular. La Bandita rolled out the red carpet for sure and Monti staff were all smiles and helpfulness. Naples Michelin starred hotel was what one would expect—one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. The Florence hotel staff were also very responsive but it wasn’t guite as exceptionally personal as the others. This is less criticism of Florence than a resounding accolade to the others.
3. Activities were well planned and very well orchestrated. Each of our guides seemed to immediately appreciate our level of sophistication in history and archeology and raised their bar. All guides have some trouble going off script, which we encourage, and some did better than others but overall they were very good. My favorite was Michaele in Naples.
4. The sites we visited were excellent choices for us. Pompeii and Herculaneum were wonderful. Hadrian’s villa was also great. Villa d’Este was a little disappointing. I knew ahead of time the villa had no furnishings and didn’t have high expectations but I chose it based on the gardens, especially the famous water fountains. Through no one’s fault, the water was turned off that day. The Vatican was special but probably would have liked to cut loose from the guide to explore more off script. Pienza was a special place but the town really was low season. Tuesday the whole town shuts down apparently but Nick rented a scooter and explored the valley on his own so it worked out fine.
5. The food was on our own except for the included breakfasts. Each hotel did a great job but Naples stood out as one would expect a one star restaurant to do.
All in all a nearly perfect trip. Your planning and expertise was very evident in every detail. Good Job!!!
I will not hesitate to use you again.

Traveled to New Zealand, and Lucy Rudgard with Scott Dunn did a terrific job in making suggestions for where and when to go, and then arranged everything including transportation and activities.

We took two SD trips in 2025. One to Spain (May) and one to Italy (October). Both were interesting, different, beautiful and well-coordinated. We will never forget the quiet solitude of the Alhambra. Or the breathtaking ancient ruins on the Amalfi Coast.

Both required a lot of planning and attention by our trip coordinators - Grace Bunker (Spain) and Livia Angelini (Italy). Both required last-minute flexibility, too, as our interests and expectations evolved over time. Both were more than up to the task.

We are so grateful to them for giving us the gift of two trips of a lifetime. Could not have done it without them.

We have just returned from our holiday and have to say it went so smooth without a hitch . Travelling 3 flights to arrive we were kept informed every step of the way . Met by a chaperone from airport to hotels and everyone was prompt and easy to find .Eli did a great job putting this together we feel so grateful , Thank you so must our Galapagos dream was just awesome .

All arrangements for pick-ups, transfers, flights, and our stay at Mala Mala Rattray were superb.

We enjoyed a truly fantastic holiday at Daios Cove in Crete, using Scott Dunn. The food is exceptionally good at every restaurant; absolutely every meal was incredible. The setting at Daios Cove is idyllic, and the childcare team at the Scott Dunn Explorers club were fantastic (a particular shout out to the marvellous Nikos who was beyond brilliant, and the lovely Zoi too).
Booking the holiday was also made very easy with the help of Pete, who ensured it was all exactly as we needed it to be, and advance booking of the restaurants (which was key) was expertly done by Issy too.

This was our first Scott Dunn holiday and we have been very impressed, so we hope to use them again!

A great travel agency. We had certain expectations (focus on food experiences, more active than passive ways of spending time, etc) and the trip was perfectly tailored to our needs. Whenever I travel with Scott Dunn I know I don’t have to worry about any logistics, the quality is always there, and if I have any ad hoc requests, questions etc. I’m going to get help immediately. Well planned time and well spent money with activities and attractions that created memories I could not design easily on my own.

I travel with my wife and two kids extensively. We spend 8-10 days every month traveling the US and around the world. We decided to try Scott Dunn and we were very dissatisfied with their service. We had to follow up over and over with Lucy, the rep that gave us.
She gave us very limited options for traveling to Mexico so we did the research ourselves and sent her the travel dates and resorts we wanted, both of which they have a relationship with. She said she would send a proposal and never did, even after we followed up with emails and phone calls. Very unprofessional and very frustrating.

Amazing vacation with every detail taken care of by the wonderful team at Scott Dunn. Ashley, Sabina, and Olivia really made the vacation of our dreams a reality. Courteous professional, expiditious and caring planning and execution. Livia and Sabina listened to our travel preferences including physical limitations and economic boundaries to plan the itinerray.
