The delivery team were brilliant. They had both sofas in the room and assembled in no time at all and took away all the packaging. They apologised for being early (as in it was 0810 on a Saturday morning) which wasn’t a problem.

we ordered our new sofa at newport in January and the lady in sales at newport was very helpful throughout the process.
the issue came with planning delivery we had a text in March saying delivery was 2nd April. then several saying the same . so on 1st we had our old sofa taken away. later on the 1st we then had another text say sofa not being delivered until 5th - not even the curtesy of a call. I tried intermittently for 4hr over 2nd to call scs but just got put in a queue. the queue last until they called back on 4th. in the mean time I got so worried about it we drove back over newport as we would not be available on 5th- then to be told we had to wait until the 8th.
on delivery day the two men that delivered the sofa were fab. very helpful and sorted everything. they I must admit were the light at the end of a tunnel for scs . I would definitely recommend them for delivery. thank you both .

Fantastic service from the very beginning . Wonderful service from the sales team and delivery drivers. The service team were quick and efficient in dealing with the sale of the sofa all paperwork was completed in 10 minutes . Delivery was less than 2 weeks . The delivery team were absolutely wonderful asking where the sofa was going to go they put it in place , removed all packaging and even arranged the cushions they were marvellous .

Amazing sofa at a great price too. The team at SCS were incredibly helpful in helping us find our new sofa and without been pushy. It was delivered with perfect care by Simon and Huw who kept me updated with text and phone calls while on their way to the house.

Evan was very helpful in the store when I first saw and decided to purchase my recliner. Trying to pay the balance however was more problematic, SCS only have a generic number for contact and the waits on this number are ridiculously long, even when choosing the call back option. When I was eventually able to pay and organise delivery everything seemed to work as described. The day before delivery I received an email as promised with a time slot. This was 10-3. The next morning as promised this was narrowed down and I was provided with a tracking link. This is where the problems began. After waiting until 2.5 hours after my time slot I tried to contact the national number. This was greeted with a voicemail saying the contact centre was closed due to staff training. In the end I emailed the store and Evan called me back. Evan was again extremely helpful and advised me that he was aware of an issue and had been trying to resolve it all day. I informed Evan that a phone call earlier might have eased some of the stress. Evan informed me that my chair would be delivered the next day. I have to say that the next day everything went smoothly and the delivery guys were amazing. Getting the chair through my front door was not easy and they persevered to make it happen.
I am very pleased with my purchase.

This review has received the stars I have given for the excellent service I have received from Evan and the delivery guys today, not for SCS as a company. The national helpline and the service they provide has massive room for improvement.

I was really pleased with my sofa I purchased from ScS. I was able to negotiate a good deal with Damien the salesman at the Newport branch. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was for a problem with the delivery which ended up a day late. Delivery guys were great looked for the best possible route through the house to get the sofa in my desired position, they then assembled and tested the functionality before leaving.

Excellent service from scs and the delivery guys. Took excellent care delivery my sofa and placed it exactly where I wanted it.

A really helpful assistant, never felt pressured at any point, she showed a very good knowledge of the furniture in the store. Lots of choice for the type of settees we were looking for. A good experience, I usually walk out from shops if I'm pounced on but did not feel in any way awkward. Excellent service.
