We purchased two leather sofas from this company and were delighted they were delivered on time. However, the two delivery men could not get one sofa in the room, and one said he had 15 years experience and could categorically say that it would never go in. They left it on its end in our hallway, and gave us a number of someone they said would remove the side and then reattach it later. This person, who we had no knowledge of wanted £200 to do this.
We went away on holiday very worried, we didn’t know what to do, and even considered having our lounge window removed, it was very stressful.
My son, who works from home asked me if he could try, and I agreed, providing he didn’t hurt himself or damage the sofa. Ten minutes later he sent me a photo of the sofa safely in the room.
Obviously we were relieved, and delighted, but then furious, we feel that we were not treated fairly.
We emailed poltronesofa on 3rd July and to date have received no response.
We went to the shop, where we were told we should have been offered a second attempt at delivery, otherwise, they weren’t interested. I phoned customer (no)service on 17th and 28th July and promised a call back but have heard nothing, clearly this company are only interested in your money. My next steps are Trading Standards and Social Media to get the message out there to never purchase from these people because they will try to rip you off and simply DO NOT CARE.

My husband and I went to the Hedge End, Southampton branch to view potential sofas. We were greeted by John who was extremely friendly and polite. He allowed us to look around at our own pace but when we had questions he was close enough to ask. When we decided on a sofa he was helpful to give us the best option for us. When we got home and after some long discussions, we felt we needed to change our choice so we went back the following day and spoke to John again. He was really helpful once more and tried to work out our best option again. Can’t rate him and this store enough. All the staff were very friendly because after spending so long in there over 2 days we began to have a laugh with them all.

The delivery men went above and beyond to get heavy large sofas up a flight of stairs, they worked very hard

It has arrived with a stain, looks like it has been put together like patchwork, and some quality issues with some of the material. Difficult to get through to anybody on the phone to report. Have had to l report through the online portal and still awaiting any kind of response 24 hours after receiving the sofa.

Very welcoming, took time to explain everything the company offers yet at no time did the staff appear to be pushy in trying to obtain a sale. The products on offer were very well laid out.

The delivery was ahead of schedule, quick and simple.

The communication throughout the delivery process was great. I knew the date and time slot in plenty of time. Notified the evening before with a more accurate time slot, then received a phone call 30 minutes before arriving. The two guys doing the delivery and putting the sofa together were very professional and minimal disruption. Very happy with the service and the sofa.

we bought a setee unit from scs earlier in the year and was very happy with the salesman Sean he was very knowledgeable and very helpful, after delivery that was carrier out by your delivery guys that was very well done bringing all the units up the stairs on a very hot day, we decided to add another unit so went back to your Hedge End store and found Sean who was again very helpful in finding what we had bought and ordered the unit, very pleased with Sean and the store and the delivery guys. great service all-round.

your sales assistant Diane was very helpful when I was choosing my sofa and went out of her way to supply sample materials to choose and was very informative regarding styles of sofa and how we could change them. I was very impressed with her knowledge and would definitely recommend your store at Hedge End as very welcoming.

We had placed an order for a sofa and chair but on getting home realised it may not fit through our front door. We got in touch with Poltronesofa Gedge End where we had placed the order and spoke to a lovely lady called Diane. She asked us to go in and ask for her and she would help sort our problem out. She was the most helpful member of staff at Hedge End and took the time to go through all our problems regarding size and explained our solutions. We left the store feeling relieved that she had removed all our stresses and found a brilliant solution. Well done to Diane who is a credit to Poltronesofa. Sales person was very helpful and gave sound advice when choosing our two, three seater leather settees.
The delivery crew arrive on time and we were advised in advance about the delivery window. They took great care unpacking and assembling the two settees and removed all surplus material. They were polite, courteous and efficient.

The service was personal and very professional, the staff took their time to listen & assist in choosing the right sofa & colour scheme.

The two people that delivered our furniture were very nice they messaged me to let me know when they were on there way and kept me notified right up to the delivery very polite people couldn’t fault them at all great service from beginning to end!!
