I recently changed my WIFI Hub with Virgin Media to improve the signal. This meant that the WIFI changed and was dropped from my SDS Alarm system. When I called SDS for instructions on how to connect my system to the new WIFI they insisted that only one of their engineers could carry out this task. Apparently it is impossible for residential users to do this themselves. Only an SDS engineer can complete this very difficult and challenging task which would cost over £100. Not a bad business I think charging customers over £100 to enter a new WIFI password!!

I contacted SDS this morning to reschedule my alarm maintenance visit and was greeted by Donna who dealt with my query quickly and efficiently and with good humour. My appointment was in 48 hours' time but, as I have been shielding for the best part of 11 months and will be getting my first jab in a day or so, I did not want to run the slightest risk of undoing all my 'good work' staying locked-down, locked-up and locked-in for the sake of waiting for the alarm to be seen two or three weeks later, although it has been perfectly reliable anyway.
I have every confidence in SDS's Covid19 safety protocols, but always better safe than sorry (indeed, why else do you get an alarm system - fire or intruder?!)
Donna was very understanding and rescheduled my appointment with good humour gave me no grief so the short notice.

I am very pleased with my dealing with SDS Security. Being new to having a security system I found Ola to be especially helpful, informative and patient with all my questions. Would highly recommend.

Knowledgeable, friendly, informative and a great first home security experience. Professional advise given for what type of security system would work best for my house and the install was quick and easy. Highly recommend Ola and the team. Pleasure to deal with and really on the ball.
