Mouldy bread months inside bb date.
Can echo that bread slices pack has not lasted anywhere near the best before date and went extremely mouldy. There’s clearly a problem with the packaging process.
Customer service have no phone number and took days to reply just to ask for the same details to be sent again.
Will register feedback with Waitrose and claim a refund from them.
Best avoid Seedful I think as it’s a terrible waste of food.
No bread, no refund
Placed 2 expensive orders from the US, the bread never arrived. Followed up 3 times with customer service, who kept fobbing me off with the same "a report needs to be started..." No refund. Basically, this company stole my money.
Mouldy bread every time
I keep buying the bread in Waitrose The expiry date is always three months away. I keep it in the fridge.
It’s going mouldy within a few days even the packs that are not open.
Such a shame.
Dreadful customer service
Sadly my experience has been like many other reviewers. The product is good but the customer service is appalling. I reported mouldy bread well over a month ago and the customer service has been dreadful. No replacement or refund.
Product & customer service still terrible
I’m sorry to say the customer service has not improved. I loved the original product from Waitrose but was disappointed when I ordered direct after my local store closed 3 years ago. The bread was mouldy and no amount of emails etc generated any response. I have tried again recently and the same problem occurred. Such a shame as the actual product is great
Mouldy Old Dough Seedful Slices
Like many others leaving a review for Seedful, I have had moldy seedful slices with 4 months left on the use by date, as well as 3 ignored emails that I sent to them with photos attached. The only thing I can think of doing now is approaching Waitrose in the hope that they will discontinue using this unprincipled company. It's so disappointing that the company making this tasty product has this apparently uncaring attitude towards its customers. Maybe we should contact Dragon's Den and expose this unscrupulous behaviour :-(

Mouldy Bread FOUR Months Before The Sell By Date
I’m sure I’m not the only one that foolishly believes people who make healthy products and who care for the environment are going to be nice people. Obviously I’m wrong.
I recently purchased some of The Heart Of Nature bread out of curiosity and for the possible health benefits. Though I was also baffled as to how bread could have a sell-by-date four months ahead. What would make it last without additives?
Two weeks after purchase I opened one of the packets of bread and was shocked to see really thick mould all over it. I wish I could attach photos.
I immediately took photos and sent them to Seedful and thought I’d get a polite reply. Far from it. Customer service accused me of storing the bread in a damp place for a long time. I couldn’t believe what I was reading! I have no idea who wrote the email as they didn’t bother to add their name. But to immediately blame the customer? Bad Public Relations!
Perhaps foolishly I’ve purchased a batch of more of the bread as I really like it. I presumed I just got unlucky with the one packet of mouldy bread. But to now
come on Trustpilot and see how many other people have been in the same situation is utterly shocking and disturbing. I’ve paid by credit card, so if there’s anymore mouldy bread I’ll take up the matter with my card provider.
There’s really no point in a business giving the public a nice story about being supported by the Dragon’s Den TV show, and some very minor celebrities (I only
know one) if the business cannot supply healthy goods not covered in mould. I want to protect my health, not ingest rotting food. And I’m quite sure the Dragon’s Den panel and the minor celebrities feel the same way. And at nearly £4 for only 8 small slices of bread you really don’t expect to be paying for mould.
Ultimately it's really sad and annoying that someone has created such a great product such as The Heart of Nature bread. I absolutely love it. And I want to buy it and eat it most days. But I'm not not prepared to buy bread that has mould on in it within days and have a continuous battle for a refund. The Seedful business really need to figure out what's going wrong as they have a big problem.
Dishonest and Unethical - AVOID
Bread didn't arrive as promised - I chased and chased and eventually cancelled and asked for my money back as I had had no choice but to buy the bread from elsewhere. A couple of days later I got an email saying my bread had been dispatched - I told them it was too late as I had cancelled! They said it was too late to cancel as they had already dispatched it - I reminded them that THEY had chosen to dispatch it after the date I cancelled. So they said they would send me some vouchers to make up for this - I have chased these twice but never received them and now they have ghosted me. Appalling - avoid at all costs
Their bread goes mouldy shortly after purchase. Avoid.
We buy their seedful bread from Waitrose. It is very expensive, but it forms part of our lower carb diet, replacing ordinary bread. Twice now, it has gone mouldy well before it's use by date. I wrote to their customer care email address, but received no reply. Clearly, they don't give a monkeys. Avoid this company and it's products.
Third time unlucky

This is the second time my order has arrived incomplete. The first order arrived with a bread package missing and many broken protein bars. I wrote three or four emails without response, but ordered a second time to see if things had improved.
My second order was complete and very well packed. So I ordered a third time with confidence. It has just arrived.
Of the 30 x 40g cranberry protein bars I paid for I have received 20 in total. Plus 4 maple crunch bars I did not order. I am missing 6 bars. Please send them or refund me.
I did receive the 2x 500g Heart of Nature breads I paid for.
Please respond to this.
Mouldy product
For the third time in two months, I bought their Heart of Nature seedful slices from Waitrose and they are mouldy. Complaints to Seedful Customer Care go unanswered. They must be able to sell a product that doesn't go mouldy in the sealed packaging but it seems not. The lack of concern from them is not good
This company is a total scam
This company is a total scam! They don't deliver everything that you have purchased. I have been chasing them for over two months to get my missing items delivered. Their response was that they were having some technical issues. They just simply received my money and didn't send my items..
Tasty and delivered as promised
I received my bars within 4 days as promised. I ordered both the maple and cranberry and both are really tasty and will make a healthy addition to my packed lunches. I know there have been a lot of negative reviews but I can only speak about my own experiences which has been positive. I will order again from this company because my experience has been good and the bars are really nice.
Avoid!
Thought these products looked great so ordered my first batch and set up a subscription as I wanted to ensure we had a regular supply of healthy breads and bars. They took the money but received nothing for weeks! Chased it up and then my subscription parcel arrived before I even had chance to try the products. I asked them to cancel my original order as it hadn't arrived but they wouldn't. So I ended up with way too much of it. The bread I find inedible as each slice has hard bits (like pieces of Olive stones) even the slices with no olives so I am going to throw it all away before I break a tooth. The seed bars are a bit better. I asked for a refund on one of my two orders (happy to return the products) but this was refused despite their money back promise. Terrible customer service and poor product.
LONG wait poor experience
I ordered on 4th Oct 24
The order was almost four weeks before delivered , two out of three of the flavoured bread slices were inedible due to mould and broken seal.
On my email complaint I sent photos and photo of order details.
The reply was I'd get a refund in 5-7 days as id asked not to be replaced as took to long to arrive.
The seed bars are nothing special with very little flavor.
It's now been two weeks and I've not had my refund.
So like lots of others I think it won't happen now.
Won't use this company again and considering they supply Waitrose with the pre sliced bread I'm surprised the customer service is so bad .
My advice is don't order !!
Positive delivery experience, product poor
Received my order very quickly and items received as expected, so a very different experience to many others.
I do find the product pretty bland with no particular taste of cranberry or maple so won't be buying again.

I made an online order in early October, 2024. I chased the order for 4 weeks and then gave up because the company openly lie and are clearly not interested in sending customers their orders or giving people refunds.
I have reported them to Facebook as fraudulent and also reporting them to Shopify.com who provide their e-commerce platform.

Ordered these to try as not very into healthy stuff. but Dr says now or never. Arrived on time and very well packaged. I found the 3 flavours Seedful slices I ordered tasted great, lasted really well as I only ate one per day. The second order I reordered the slices but also tried the bread, found each slice to have too much eaw four on them and to be rather flavourless, they also went mouldy pretty quickly, I don't see it on their site anymore, so seems to be a newish company trying things but responding quickly and sorting out any issues. I will be ordering the slices again.

Not sure what had happened to them as it was really good products and good communication just a year ago.
