Had a very smooth experience from my first assessment to the end of titration and passing on the details to my GP. I would recommend first getting a referral from a GP if possible as this made things much smoother for me. I also had to confer with the admin team initially due to a concern with my health history but this was all sorted very quickly and I'm grateful for the trust. Private mental health care is expensive but the prices at SEIK were a lot more affordable for me than a lot of other places, with a good quality of care and highly detailed report. My diagnosis has changed my life for the better and I am very happy with my experience.

SEIK were really good at the start with the diagnosis. But all downhill from there. The titration process was terrible. 9 months on and still not medicated. Continually running out of medication due to the time it took to get a review appointment (circa 3 weeks+), time it took for a psychiatrist to respond, time it took for a psychiatrist to write a prescription.
One time the psychiatrist went on holiday for 2 weeks after promising to get my prescription sent out. The medication i was being prescribed took time to build up in system. Continually running out and going unmedicated invalidated the whole process and was actually advised against in the drug instructions.
Was told that my psychiatrist only works part time and hence the continual delays. This really shouldn't be the patients problem?!
Fairly clear to me that SEIK have taken on too many patients and are now woefully under resourced. Interestingly, new patient ADHD assessments can be booked quicker than an existing patient can get a medication review appointment.
Cannot recommend i'm afraid.
