We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights in August, My husband and I and two children aged 18 and 20. We had reservations as we had always used hotels for city breaks but it was perfect, right from the moment we went to collect our keys at the desk in Schipol Airport where an extremely pleasant young man dealt with our booking, gave us a map and directions to the apartment which was spotless, comfortable and well supplied.. only suggestion is to maybe supply a few extra mugs as we had to wash one every time we used it. On arrival we recieved a lovely bottle of wine which we enjoyed on our first evening. It is in a beautiful location, very quiet and yet within walking distance of many of the major sights. We particularly enjoyed the canal life watching boats quietly passing the bedroom window. On the last morning my son got locked in the bathroom as the lock was faulty. when my husband went to the central office and reported this, we had someone at the apartment to fix it even before my husband returned. Very prompt service, I'm sure this is not a regular occurence and we were just unfortunate. I would strongly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone looking for a quiet location in this beautiful city.

We stayed in Den Haag at the Grand Place IV. The appartment is excellent and the location is just wonderful, with on the left side the train station and on the right side shops, and more shops. You are right in the center surrounded by restaurants, shops, and a supermarket (AH) around the corner. Everything is in walking distance. The appartment is very roomy and clean. We had some problems with the heater the first morning and when we came home at night it was fixed. I would recommend this to my friends.

The apartment was clean and well furnished. The location is perfect. The only negative is the" look" of the kitchen counter and the sink. Yes, it is clean, but it does not look like it is .
The service from the "office" was excellent.

We really enjoyed the Jordaan Westerstraat apartment. It was very clean and comfortable and close to all the tourist attractions. The neighbourhood was very quiet.

I stayed at the Louvre Studio apartments for a week twice and both times had a great experience. The apartment was clean and Short Stay delivered everything they promised including good service. I would highly recommend them with five stars.

The organization excellent, from check in, at the Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol), to the check-out.

Found everything promised and needed, even a little gift bottle of wine. Overall very clean compared to other appartments i have seen. Lower Groundfloor was no problem either - nice and calm.
Only a short walk away from the centerarea and cheap parking pretty close at the katenburgerstraat ;-)

The flat was clean and the team was supportive. The negative things are related with parking (quite far away) if you don't want to park on street and the internet wasn't available during the entire stay (poor signal)

When we arrived we discovered an appartment that was dingy, damp and very small in a back yard with three workmen renovating another flat just outside our window. We immediately contacted the short stay office and after discussion they relocated us to a lovely flat which was bigger with very little extra charge. The people were apologetic and helpful and after loosing a day trying to sort all that out we had a good time. The flat was clean, well equipped and central for everything. Only problem, it was situated opposite a popular night club so very noisy at night, not much sleep before 3am !
a tip : read the small print as we discovered after the fact that an early entry (even 1 hour !) has a cost that they do not mention when you ask for the keys.

We stayed in one of the ground floor apartments withing the courtyard. Kitchen and sofa bed on the ground floor with double bedroom and bathroom upstairs. This apartment appeared to have been built recently and has all modern conveniences, combined washer/dryer, dishwasher etc. The only negative is that the wall adjoining the next apartment is paper thin and we could here the neighbours TV clearly. Otherwise the location is close to Central Station.

Flat was nice and had everything needed.
Few remarks:
-the little garden shown on the internet was shut and not accessible. I was very disappointed.
- lots of ants in the kitchen
- no instruction for the washing machine

Potentially the place is very nice, i guess that it needs a bit of care from the landlord or the agency! If the garden was cleaned and opened that would have given a great uplift to the flat...a bit of effort, with a great result. Ants must disappear....again, a bit of effort...other than that, we enjoyed the place and the agency was good.

Everthing was excellent.


We travel to Istanbul - your colleges is not helpfull at all.

Nobody to meet us on arrival and no answer on the 2 telephone numbers we had..help given from a nearby estate agent.to contact someone.we found that very stressfull.the same problem occured to 2 other guests tha week.however we found the apartment more than adequate.

Bathroom is too tidy even for small people. The bad is very comfortable. Very suitable for smokers.

We fouund a few things wrong with our accomodation
1. The water pump would go off any time it liked often in the middle of the night.
2. The step to the bed was not satisfactory it should be stated how difficult it is to get into for dissabled people I have a bad leg was unable to get up the so had to sleep on lounge.
3. We felt that our clothes and personal items were not sucure while away from the boat.
4. It is not the boat on the web site or it hasn't had any upkeep since the photo.
5.very inconvenient for the fridge to be outside as we had non stop rain so getting milk and such was an effort.

Sorry, I think it is a nice trick! You send us a very nice photo with our appartement number 401, but our appartement is not the same appartement on the nice photo!

But it is not the only problem. When we open the very smal windows, it´s smells like a big kitchen and when we open the front door it smells like rubbish from the floor.

I think it was the last time with "short stay"!

Stayed for 10 days. Had a pleasant stay like home. Never felt like staying in hotel.

The personnel were friendly and helpful and the appartment good. The only little negative aspect was the narrow and steep staircase to the appartment which wouldn't be suitable for someone with mobility issues.

When our (my friends and i) flight got canceled due to an airline strike, shortstay and specifically a very nice employ called precious helped us a lot! If it wasn't for them, the money we already paid for the apartment would have been gone and the trip canceled. Instead we found a way to get there the next day and had a great trip. That wouldn't be possible without the help we got from shortstay.

POSITIVES: Nicely furnished and comfortable apartment in a good area near the Den Haag Central Station. Very courteous staff too.

NEGATIVES: Didn't have internet on the first two days but it was resolved. Water leaked downstairs when having a shower in the bathroom upstairs; this wasn't resolved for the duration of my stay.
