I found the shutters great,very good quality and easy to fit.

Excellent service at very reasonable prices. Excellent customer service.

Our order arrived a little later than expected by about a week. When it arrived we were a little disappointed to discover a corner of one of the panels has a piece damaged. We didnt notify them as we had waited so long for them we have decided to try and glue the piece back on as we needed the shutters in place as it’s in my treatment room. Other than this we really like the shutters and they make the room look much bigger

Shutters look fantastic and the quality is great!

The finish is superb and the price is so competitive. I would recommend Shutters Direct to anyone. Really easy to install only took about 30 minutes and they come as the correct size.

Slightly longer lead time of 13 weeks but this is to expect with the christmas period and well worth the wait.

Easy to install I did them on my own. Had lots of compliments of how nice they look. Very pleased.

The shutters themselves were excellent and so easy to fit. My only advice would be double check your measurements.

Excellent product, makes the home complete

We ordered oak coloured plantation shutters for 3 windows at the front of our house and had our fingers crossed that our measurements would be ok!
We live in Jersey, so had the additional problems of weather delays in early January 2010 caused a small delay and so we waited about 14 weeks for our shutters, which was was perfectly acceptable to us.
They arrived in perfect condition and it took half an hour from start to finish to put each shutter up and the fit was perfect ! (Down to my husband’s meticulous measuring !).
We immediately felt the insulation benefit of the blinds.
From an admin point of view, Channel Islanders have a different VAT arrangement and usually have to deal with claiming back from the Company once the products arrived in the Island. Shutters Direct deal with it at source which makes life so much easier ! And....their postage is reasonable too!!
We can only recommend using Shutters Direct and as soon as our other bedroom is plastered, we will be ordering another blind !

Company has several sister companies. Made 4 orders with wooden blinds direct and never had an issue so decided to use wooden shutters. They do take your money straight away. Promised 8-10 weeks and guaranteed Christmas delivery. Would give you peace of mind if you had the occasional update during the process. Over 10 weeks heard nothing. Emailed them. No response. Phoned 3 times, customer service polite enough. Got 3 different responses then started to panic as no one got back to me and I read all the bad reviews. Emailed again, got a response informing of despatch. The order arrived in just over 11 weeks. Day before Christmas Eve. Delivery info very good. Item well packaged. Shutters really good quality. Odd dink so would be good if they put in a tester pot of paint for any touching up. Shutter colour slightly different than sample but it’s a better shade. No raw plugs. Only 5 large screws. Needed 11. Lots of little bits in fitting box & we don’t know what they are for. White screw caps, would be nice if matched shutter colour. As we have no bottom frame the 2 inner shutters don’t quite hold together at the bottom. Would be good if there was a magnet at the bottom as well as the top to hold them shut. We are going to fit a latch. If communication was better I would give 4 stars. If all parts were all present then I would give 5 stars. Everything put aside we fitted them yesterday. Fairly easy if your in to DIY and we are delighted with them.

Two Issues:
1) The shutters were around 1cm shorter than measurement provided. However was able to overcome by laying a strip of wood.
2) The consignment came in two lots on different days (Frames first, then shutters) Which meant I had to take two days off work to accept both deliveries.
Aside from that, happy with quality of product.

I am extremely impressed with the shutters I ordered! The quality of them is fantastic and they were an absolute doddle to install!! I would highly recommend these and now that I've seen how easy they are to install I intend to buy more!!
