A great experience thanks to Jenny Merritt in the Widnes Branch.
Jenny couldn't have been more helpful, providing a number of samples so that we could match our previous supply. Our order of Thermawood was processed very efficiently...we knew exactly when it would arrive with text updates leading up to the delivery date and time. The driver arrived as promised and was courteous and respectful.
The timber quality is second to none so we will continue to use Sliva to supply the rest of our project. We highly recommend this company and Jenny Merritt in particular.

We ordered a quantity of black battens for our garden and they arrived earlier than expected - brilliant.
We were short of some coating for the batten ends and Kelly organised it and it arrived within 48 hours.
Received VERY quick response to my emails.
Can't fault the customer service.
Battens look great on our elevated platform too.

A few problems with my order but I called, they answered! No long wait in a queue being told call volumes were unusually high... and they fixed everything. Particular thanks to Robert.

Their 5kg nails packs is actually 2kg , total ripoff!
We have received 2 packs and we didn’t start the work until last week, sorry didn’t think of checking how many has arrived just assumed it would be correct

Very satisfied with the service received and the quality of the product. Also extremely helpful advice prior to placing my order. Delivery was excellent, on time and helpful driver.
My only quibble would be the minimum order size as I have under estimated quantities slightly so will need to find another supplier to top up.

I rang Silva Timber to ask advice how best to clean/treat my red cedar wood cladding. The gentleman I spoke to was really helpful and the products I bought have been amazing!! Very simple to use and very effective. Totally recommend their expertise!

We visited the Silva showroom pre-Covid and got a great deal of useful help and suggestions. Then came Covid19 and delays for our extension plans. It's taken the best part of a year to complete but Silva were helpful in first delaying the order and then delivering when I was ready for it (I think it helped them get through their own delays to be honest). The product is first class - 90 x 3 metre lengths of Siberian Larch and no damaged edges or scrapes at all. Just waiting for it to weather-in now.

My first time using Silva Timber as I tend to use timber Merchents near me for Cedar cladding, but thought I would try them as had a good review from a developer I do work for. There web site was by far the best I visited and the delivery service was top notch. The Cladding it self was of a very high quality so will be using them in the future.

I have used Silva timber for a few years now. I purchased a red cedar deck and it still looks good after 4 years. I always use their Samson stain and they always look after me with their excellent customer service. I really recommend their service and quality products

First class service and an excellent product. The Red Cedar Shakes look absolutely stunning on our Gazebo.
The guys who fitted the roof waxed lyrical about the quality of the wood and how easy they were to use.
After an issue with the local delivery of product, Barry did an excellent job in resolving this problem and overall the service from Silva was top class. Thoroughly recommend the company and the product.

Having trawled through numerous websites to compare the prices for the cladding I wanted, I kept coming back to the Silva site as it was the easiest to navigate.

Once I selected the product, the sales service I got was excellent especially considering the situation we are all in.

Delivery was delayed by a couple of days, but the help and assistance I got from the driver was well worth the dely.

On stacking the product, I quickly realise the quality of the cladding was of the highest, as each layer easily slipped together.

I would recommend Silva to anyone wanting a high quality product and the best customer service.

Great customer service, fair price, prompt efficient delivery and the order of Western red cedar cladding for our barn conversion was of top quality.

Silva supplied me with beautiful cedar cladding for my house. I asked them fir clear oil to protect it but they instead sent an orange stain to my contractor without telling me they had swapped clear oil for a colour. They say they told my contractor but conveniently that was the only call not recorded by them and my contractor says they didn’t. £1,600 of wood ruined by a stupid mistake and lack of communication. No offer to rectify their mistake. I asked them to pay only half the £720 bill to sandblast it back to the original colour and they ignored my email. I intend to seek legal advice to recoup the whole cost. Not the first time they’ve done this by reading these reviews and just like everyone else leaving a bad review - ZERO customer service. They literally couldn’t give a crap.

Having been referred to this company by my companies procurement teams as a reliable organisation with a quality product I have placed two substantial orders with them and have been very pleased. Thats where it stops the moment you want to buy less than there min order value but are still happy to pay the expensive delivery costs, is where their policies fail to promote great customer service. What a way to lose future recommendations and custom.

I struggled to find the best product in a complex market. Silva gave me a great product at a good price. I thought the quality was excellent, I used B grade so there were some losses due to knots, but not much and meeting expectations. The product looks excellent now it is up.
