Bought 2 stools. Returned them using Simply's own courier. Courier turned up with only 1 label, but couldn't even fit stools in van. He returned later the same day to collect both and said he would print the second lable at the depot. Advised simply bar stool of all this while it was happeining via email. 3 weeks later (collected on 1st June) still to recieve a credit, even after supplying video evidence from my cctv of both stools going into the van. Avoid these guys at all cost, criminals.

I've had a poor experience with this company. Firstly, they took a next-day delivery fee and then failed to deliver the next day, offering a date the following week. When the 2 leather stools (so quite expensive!) arrived they were clearly NOT new but most likely ex-display models, as the white leather had gone yellow on the backs. I made a complaint and sent pictures - whilst the emails are very nice, apologetic and assuring me they will send replacements backs (that will match the batch number) it's been weeks and nothing has arrived.

I feel as though I have been mis-sold ex-display at new prices and I'm very unhappy 1) with the mis-matched colours, so they look scrappy 2) being lied to about sending replacements.

Ordered 4 Allegro Signature Real Leather Bar Stools express. They came as scheduled by DHL. Unfortunately on arrival 2 has lifts could not be connected to the base as the one weld on each piece which connected the screw base to the pole obscured a screw hole and when you tried to insert the screw using a bit of force stripped the screw. I emailed with photos and they came back the same day and said they would send new parts which they duly did by standard delivery. One of the new parts still had an obscured screw but we managed to chisel off the small piece preventing the screw from being inserted. We now have 4 bar stools that feel like a sturdy premium product. Overall happy but can't afford 5 stars given the issue with the second set of gas lifts and it taking an extra 8 days to have the full set - 3 of 6 feels like a manufacturing issue.

I would not even give this company one star. Initially bought a barstool from them I only needed one. It was flimsy and cheap with no steadiness whatsoever unsafe I would say so when I complained they sent me one with a heavy bottom which I had to pay another £70 for the screws did not fit into the base and there were no alignment on it at all. Three more gas lifts were sent to me and screws which still did not fit. I asked to return this for a full refund not forgetting I’d bought two barstools but only one seat they said I would have to return the seat for a refund which I did and they have only refunded me for one barstool customer service is really bad. There’s a guy there that’s really quite formative but the female is absolutely horrendous and doesn’t know what she is doing half the time she has caused me so much hassle. I think I will take this company to court. There is a lot more to this story but I would advise you not to buy from this company you can get quite good stalls on Amazon much cheaper, try that.
Ok they have now refunded but it doesn’t get away from the fact that this company sell crap bar stools, don’t be fooled by the weighted one, if you get alignment at the base and able to attach the screws then use stool for a while and the screws become loose, be careful as stool becomes very dangerous.

I purchased a single and a pair of bar stools in March. The boxes they were delivered in were in a terrible state. I immediately sent images to the company. Sadly the barstools weren't suitable so I requested a return on 30th March. They were finally collected on 1st May!!! To say I've been to hell and back is an understatement! Countless emails and telephone calls. Multiple scheduled and failed collections. It's almost like they made the return process as difficult as possible so that I wouldn't bother. When the barstools were returned I had to chase for the refund. Over three weeks later I'm informed (only when I telephoned them), the refund had been delayed because the warehouse had told them the barstools had been assembled which is an outright LIE. Obviously I went ballistic and eventually the refund was issued. I will never use this awful company again.

This is the worst company in the world. Don't buy from them. I had extremely bad experience with this company. I bought a couple of bar stools which were not to my satisfaction. I emailed them requesting returning the goods. They never responded to my email. I called and they are asking me about the email address blah blah. Anyway, he claimed that he arranged for a DHL collection for me . I waited all day for the company to collect it but they never did. I called again the next day, they claimed that its DHL fault and rebooked another collection. I waited again all day but no one turned up to collect. I called again and they repeated the same lies it's their fault. Again they booked another day for collection and I waited half a day but no one turned up. The staff kept laying to me claiming the company couldn't get to my place or the collection not guaranteed. No manager called me to resolve the issue despite repeatedly asking to speak with one. I believe they're doing this so that they force me to keep the items. Avoid this company at all costs because they're crooks. I shall write a complaint letter to the ombudsman about the how awful this company is

All issues resolved swiftly and correspondance with customer support was efficent and easy to deal with.

Received the incorrect bar stool and arranged a return over 4 weeks ago. Constantly chasing refund which has still not been received. Finally I have raised a complaint via my bank and despite several requests to Simply bar stools customer service dept I am still waiting for proof of where my refund has supposedly been sent.
Extremely poor customer service as although responsive they do not actually address the issue in question.

AVOID BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY!
I returned 2 items together but in separate parcels and they have only refunded me for 1 item.
Told me their warehouse only received 1 parcel despite the 2 parcels being delivered together.
I’ve sent them the UPS tracking paperwork for both and the proof of delivery but they still want photographic evidence from the courier company before they refund me - which I don’t have.
It’s not worth the hassle buying from them. AVOID!

My order arrived damaged, so I contacted customer services and was sent a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement was also damaged and looked likes seconds/returns. I ended up having to call several times and send multiple emails just to try and get the issue resolved, often with no replies when promised.

In the end, I decided to switch to a cheaper version of the product and requested a refund for the difference. They then delayed sending out the new replacement, which I only received the day after I made it clear that I wanted a full refund if the items weren’t delivered.

Overall, the whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I had to chase them constantly, communication was poor, and the quality of the items was not acceptable. I would not recommend based on my experience.

Still no refund. I returned the barstools on the 8th April its now 8th May. 10 working days is what you said to process a refund and still nothing. I will keep writing reviews until you cease to exist. This company is nothing but a money trap!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! CHEAP TAT AT CHEAP PRICES!

I've called numerous times and told the same lies. Why so adamant to fix it online but not in person??? Lies again. Keep up the facade.

Super quick delivery from order to receipt. Bar stools are easy to assemble and of a very high quality. We did notice a slight issue and when raised there were no questions, a resolution happened immediately.
Higher recommend for product and also service.

Excellent service until you want to return an item. Then the process is horrendous and takes ages to get your money back. Be prepared for endless calls and emails and then they don’t return all your money !

Beware when when ordering from this company. I ordered 3 'White' bar stools. The box said 'white', so whilst I was out my son assembled 2 of the 3. When I returned home, I saw that the stools were clearly not 'white'. They are 'off white'. There is nothing in the description to imply these stools are not white. After I discovered they were off white, upon looking through the website again, I noticed that they sell some products listed as 'bright white'. They clearly acknowledge that not all products are white, but do not mention this in the listing.
The customer agent stated that as 2 of the 3 stools had been assembled they could only accept 1 back. Adding insult to injury, they want to charge me £15 to collect the item.
These items are clearly misrepresented on the website, white is white, not off-white. When comparing my picture to the one listed on their website there is clearly a difference in the colour between the 2 pictures. The items I received are not of the colour of those which are shown on their website.
The customer services agents obviously just follow scripted answers when dealing with customer complaints. There was no deviating from the script and the customer service agent terminated the call!!
Although the prices are very competitive, buyers should consider if they are willing to take a chance on the reliability/accuracy of the description and pictures on the website before placing an order.

Thank you for helping me when one of our stools was not perfect! Simply Bar Stools sent a new base and gas lift when we showed them that the welding was not as it should be on one of our stools. Really appreciate your helpful response.

I have just has a kitchen renovation with a breakfast bar fitted.I looked at many websites and then I found Simply Bar Stools. The price ,delivery and quality is amazing.It was reduced in the March sale and delivered free by the next day.Assembly couldn't have been easier.I am so happy with my cream Aldo stool,it suits the kitchen perfectly and has been much admired.

I am absolutely thrilled with the product and service I received from Simply Bar Stools and would not hesitate to recommend this company. I ordered stools in slate grey, but was a little worried as some reviews said they were more taupe in colour. I can confirm they were definitely grey and I am thrilled with them. I ordered them on a Saturday and they were with me on the Tuesday. Thanks Simply Bar Stools

Updated - initially disappointed with support but a fair explanation was provided and the matter fully resolved - faith restored, thank you.

I purchased 4 stools and had a problem with some of the components when trying to fit them together, I contacted customer service (Billy) who after I explained what the problem was arranged immediate replacement parts which arrived a few days later. The stools are now completed and look great in the kitchen. I congratulate this company for the positive way they deal with customer problems many other companies could learn a lot from Simply Bar Stools

Quick and easy ordering. Dispatched and delivered promptly. Product damaged during delivery but replaced immediately with no fuss or debate. Really good service.
