Great product, decent price and amazing customer service
I had a small mistake on my order I was connected by the company and resolved it very quickly. Customer service was very understanding and helpful.
The products were in my house next day by 10a.m.

Had a problem with FedEx lying about an attempted delivery ( nothing new there ) but the customer service team for SSL sorted it very quickly!!
Only reason for a 4 start and not a 5 is because there's always room for improvement =)

Great products. Great prices. Quick delivery. I purchased a DJ booth and a set of speakers. Everything was delivered within a couple of days and it was all in top condition. Would certainly use again.

first class service
I purchased an amplifier in January, which developed a fault in February (not SS&L's fault). I logged a call which was promptly dealt with. The amp was returned and replaced with a new unit in four days.
First class service and exactly what you would hope for.

Initially good service let down by follow up
Ordered a B-stock item which arrived broken and missing parts. SS&L were reasonable about it and offered me an A-stock replacement. Seeing as I didn't want to wait for the original to be picked up and them send out a new item I ordered a replacement and arranged with SS&L for the faulty item to be picked up. Refund to be provided upon receipt of original item.
This would have been fine except they did not put the house name on the address, which has led to so many delays with Fedex that I've given up and cancelled the order. When I told them about it they suggested I ring Fedex to sort it out myself... it's 10 days since my original order and I've stayed at home now to receive this thing a total of four times, with a fifth time on the way if I hadn't cancelled.
Fedex also absolute rubbish but SS&L's hands-off approach is just annoying at this point. It's their account with Fedex, their mistake with the address that caused the issue and them sending out a literal piece of junk in the first place. I've gone onto Amazon and ordered what is clearly exactly the same generic table for £5 cheaper, arriving tomorrow...

The worst company ive ever had to deal…
The worst company ive ever had to deal with re after sales. I wish I'd have looked at the reviews cause there's a theme to issues and them taking responsibility for things that are wrong, including the delivery/returns companies they decide to be associated with and whilst it with them its still classed as being with them!
I had 2 moving head lights delivered 2 months ago and tried everything to resolve the issues with linking them together from unboxing them, which is a feature that should be able to do. I then emailed to ask for assistance with the issue 6 weeks ago and this is still ongoing! Throughout this process i have always had to chase them and been passed about and couldn't/wouldn't make a decision until the manufacturer told them what to do! This took over 5 weeks which is absolutely ridiculous! I also advised that the boxes accidentally got thrown away, mainly due to the length of time they were cluttering up the kitchen waiting for a decision on what was happening! I had a reply to say just box them up the best i could and return them. The return was a nightmare as the list you are given dont all accept the return. I emailed the proof I had dropped them off at the return place with the evidence, plus the return company website comfirms this. I had a reply to say i still have to wait for them to be received and checked!! I have no control on the items once i have handed them over to who they have designated as their return option.
They then email to say because i didnt send the original boxes that it might affect the returns process! Make your minds up!!
These lights are for my business and part of the offering my business offers my customers and all the time this goes on my reputation is being affected.
Dont bother putting a condescending reply to my review like i see you have to other customers, just get me 2 lights that actually work asap please!!

Excellent experience. Great price, super communications, kept me updated via email as to when to expect delivery.
The guitar is superb. I have changed the strings for better quality items and this has transformed the sound. Very very happy with Simply Sound and Lighting. Would definitely recommend them.
