I’ve just finished my medication titration with Iftikhar, and he was amazing throughout the whole process. He was patient, knowledgeable and genuinely focused on finding the right medication for me.

The whole process was seamless, and I felt supported every step of the way. The positive impact it has had on my life has honestly been incredible.

Made what was a really difficult situation and emotional easier

Really impressed. Clear communication, delivered within predicted wait times, professional and empathetic staff (for all assessments). Given negative media coverage of RTC process, I have been pleasantly surprised and would def recommend Skylight.

I was referred to Skylight Psychiatry by my GP for an ADHD assessment. After spending many weeks completing their forms and questionnaires, I heard absolutely nothing from them. When I followed up with my GP, I was told that it was up to Skylight Psychiatry to contact me.

Following my message earlier today, I have now spoken to Skylight Psychiatry directly. I was told that I will not be seen before April 2027, and that even beyond that date, there is no confirmed timeframe for my assessment. Apparently, Thames Valley ICB has imposed a funding cap for 2026/27, and their allocated funding has already been fully used.

They also confirmed that nobody had contacted me since I completed their questionnaires and forms. You are dealing with people seeking an ADHD diagnosis, many of whom are already struggling with a condition that can severely affect their working lives, daily functioning, and ability to navigate systems like this. And yet, you cannot even offer them the basic courtesy of a response or an update? The lack of communication and consideration is genuinely appalling.

How is this considered an acceptable service? I am genuinely appalled and, honestly, embarrassed on behalf of every organisation involved. To leave someone waiting for weeks without any communication, only to discover that they may have to wait until well into 2027, with no guarantee of when they will actually be assessed, is simply unacceptable.

It is such a shame that a service intended to provide support for people seeking an ADHD assessment can leave them feeling so completely forgotten and let down.

I had a consulatation with andy it was quite difficult to speak about things but i was made to feel like i was in a safe space the consultation was handled with compassion and professionalism i would recommend skylight

My first impressions were unfortunately not great as the first clinician I met with was lacking understanding and his overall attitude was very poor. THEN along came Megan Fisher who is a nurse with Skylight and I have never come across a more understanding, professional and efficient lady. She made the rest of the process so easy and it really was a pleasure to have her as my nurse. As someone with complex health conditions I have encountered many nurses and I wish all nurses were like Megan Fisher.

The consultant I spoke with, Hannah Little, made me feel completely at ease and able to speak freely when answering questions. I also felt listened to and that Hannah had a good understanding of what I was going through. Overall I would say I received an excellent service and I would recommend Skylight to others.

I used Skylight psychiatry for an ADHD assessment through RTC - NHS. From the pre assessment to the actual diagnosis, they were very clear, helpful & friendly . My assessor was very understanding and patient throughout which was lovely as it was a daunting time! The process went smoothly & way quicker than expected. Very grateful for such a lovely experience so far :)

From the beginning to the end of the clinical assessment, the coordinator was extremely helpful and respectful in dealing with queries relating to my diagnosis.
I felt comfortable and safe sharing personal and confidential information with the co-ordinator, so she could give me the correct diagnosis.

A pleasure to talk to

Skylight have been brilliant. I’m a 42 year old lady and this is the first time in my life that I feel I’ve been listened to and understood. I had 3 assessments and each person I spoke with were kind, empathetic and took the time to listen to me and make me feel understood and valued.
My only criticism is that if you need to contact skylight in between, it takes a while for them to email back as I wasn’t given a contact number. Overall I am extremely happy with the service I received. From the time I put in my application to getting assessed was very quick and straightforward. Thank you Skylight.

Shamir has been wonderful in guiding me through the uncharted waters of this type of medication. We made some adjustments along the way and have come to a fantastic place with his support. He and Skylight have been so great in helping me manage the program.

Starting this journey at 40 years old has been genuinely life-changing for me. I didn’t go into the process looking for a diagnosis of any kind. I went into it wanting to understand what was going on and why I had struggled with certain things throughout my life.

I had my assessment in November 2025, my diagnosis was formally confirmed in December, and I started the titration process at the end of April 2026. Throughout all of it, the team at Skylight have been incredibly supportive. They’ve answered my questions, helped me understand the process and genuinely felt like they were there with me throughout.

Lara, who supported me through my titration, was incredible. She is such a kind-hearted person and it was always very clear that she genuinely wanted the best for me as her patient.

I’m also very lucky to have an amazing GP who has fully supported me throughout this whole process, as well as a brilliant therapist, and I’ve tried to use everything I’ve learned and been given to move forward with my life.

There is so much negative conversation and bad press around ADHD and diagnosis, but for people like me, this process can genuinely be a lifeline. Understanding how my brain works has changed so much for me. I’m achieving things now that I have struggled with my whole life, and I feel like I’m finally able to move forward and be the best version of myself.

It has genuinely been life-changing, and I can’t thank Skylight enough.
