Experiencing terrible issues from SDCI they cancelled insurance and demanding full payment, not helpful on phone or willing to sort out issue, not understanding so frustrated

Very confusing and corrupt

Smart drivers club asked me to install a tracking device not approved by the home office on my car so they could collect my data.

It seems according to their website they only track Muslims, Blacks and Asians.

They did not informed me when I was taken out the insurance policy the tracking device.

They've charged me a cancellation and unused days fees of over £100.

Becareful of this scam insurance company called Smart Drivers Club.

Great company that proactively monitors your driving delivering cost benefit and saving to your premium

Excellent service & the app is amazing with all you need as a reminder for insurance, tax & mot, so no worries trying to find them before they run out & also keep an eye on your driving.

A good experience the first time and I was offered the best price compared to other providers. What is even better is that they will reward my good driving during the year by providing an additional discount to renew (up to 40%)….not many insurers are really rewarding you like these guys.

Not great for people with automatic cars as they review how much you use the ‘brakes’ and think it should be the same amount of usage as a manual car.

Had a few problems and I had to get in touch with the ombersman

The app and starting the Bluetooth device is a bit of a struggle, and my phone says it has been recording a trip however nothing on my app yet.
Otherwise good price for car insurance , especially when brought straight from the company

I get more than 90 in speed, 88 in breaking, and 100 points in night parking. I wonder why I only get 74 out of them. Speed warning makes me always aware while driving.

Clear reminder about my renewal, and straightforward to do so. Surprised given all the tech that I had to call by phone to renew. I then had to chase the team as the documents weren’t sent to me/ the app as was promised. And the discount - 40% - wasn’t clearly set out and didn’t seem to be of that amount (so should have been more clearly explained in mathematical terms)
