Just had to write this Review, Im so grateful to Smiffys Customer Service, they were so efficient and responsive I cannot understand the negative reviews that have been posted on here I would not hesitate to Recommend them, and wouldgive more than 5 ☆ if I could thank you Smiffys

Great place to buy fancy dress online. I have bought from other online stores before but this was just the best.

Appalling. Costume arrived with a hole in it. Terrible quality. No response from customer services. And they clearly monitor reviews on their website to ensure no negative reviews are added. AVOID.

Ordered an outfit from the website which arrived in good time. When I opened it it was damaged in various places which made it impossible to wear the dress, very disappointing from a leading costume website. Would it buy from here again.

Received a product with a small defect and Tina at Smiffy's had arranged a replacement to come to me by the next day without any quibbles, very impressed.

Terrible service. Delivered 4 days after it should have been so arrived too late for event. Requested a return & they expect me to pay for this… emailed 3 times for a freepost … radio silence… I will not shop on here again

Ordered a cowboy hat which the advert stated was one size. Pictured with the ad was a large adult guy modelling the hat. So you would presume you are going to get an adult hat right? Wrong!! The hat I got was obviously for a child and in fact my 10 year old grandson just managed to squeeze it on. Sniffs apparently have problems with sizing which is an odd problem to have when your main products are garments. Other sellers who stock Smiffys products can tell you exactly what fit the product is, and yet Smiffys can't? This is a very poor company indeed and my advice is to avoid them.

I am always happy to be proved wrong when dealing with companies or organisations and how they respond in dealing with customer issues. In my case Smiffys went above and beyond in their efforts to resolve the issues raised by way of a full refund, and a contribution to my local charity. They did not have to do that as a refund is a reasonable response if an item does not fit. As I say it is always a pleasant surprise when a company shows a willingness to resolve a problem and not drag it out, and I am unable to fault Smiffys in how they responded and so well done Smiffys!

What excellent Customer Service offered by Niel & Tina. Truly impressed. No hesitation in recommending Smiffy’s. Wish more people would possess the same work ethics in the retail industry. It was such an amazing shopping experience.

Didn’t receive my order on time even their website said I will. My daughter was very disappointed cos was for her world book day. Communication via email very poorly and not helpful at all. Won’t be ordering again.

False advertisement and awful customer service.

The outfits are falsely advertised and the prices are outrageous for such poor quality. They do not respond to emails so I had to waste money on items I could have got for way less price however they make it seem as if you get the whole outfit in the description! Would never buy from this company again and I would never recommend anyone to order from them either, disgraceful.

I ordered an outfit for wbd and they sent the wrong item. I have since emailed and tweeted and had no reply. Poor customer service! I will not be buying directly fro them again

Ordered on Monday for world book day(thursday). Paid extra for express delivery, stated due Wednesday on website. It is now Thursday so costume not needed. Trying to contact company for refund with no reply to phone or email.

Watch out for the description. Just received a girls Victorian outfit, picture shows a brown dress with white apron and hat, you only get the white apron and hat. Not quite the 'Victorian outfit' expected. Go else where if you're looking for fancy dress, or make sure you read the full description and look past the misleading advert information.
Just looked on Amazon, exactly the same thing, people caught out by the misleading description. Just pre-warning in case you get it from there instead. However, Amazon is much cheaper than Smiffys.com - just compounds a wonderful first and last experience with Smiffy's!

Rudest company ever!! Don't trust this supplier THEY WILL DROP YOU JUST AS YOU BECOME SUCCESSFUL. PULLING THE RUG FROM UNDER YOU SHOCKING COMPANY!!! EVEN IF YOU PAY UPFRONT FOR YOUR STOCK. POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS. A BAD BUSINESS TO DEAL WITH.

Ordered my child a Ghostbusters officially licensed Costume that includes a Jumpsuit and Inflatable Backpack. The inflatable backpack was missing. The actual jumpsuit is really good but that doesn’t help when the backpack doesn’t arrive.

Very low quality costumes for the price. I paid $85 for the "Glamorous Lady Pirate Costume" and it is not worth half that. Very cheap fabric. Very poorly made. The lace skirt is very see-through. I am going to have to wear a petticoat. The garment is so itchy too. I would expect the same quality for something that cost $30-40 but not $85! The shipping was very fast though. I had no problems with the website or company themselves, just the quality. I received an email after my purchase asking to write a review about my items only to find that the website don't post reviews. That's dodgy! Why not give the customers the right to leave their reviews?? I only purchased from this website because of their fast shipping but i don't plan on buying from them again. I'll stick to Amazon.

ordered a Christmas sheep costume on Friday December the 4th was supposed to be delivered next working day as was a next day delivery order but I didnt even received nothing. As was a school recital costume think they can take it back want my money back the worse company I have never dealed with. Disappointed.

Contacted by company days after ordering, they didn’t have enough of the item I’d ordered in stock. I asked them to send what they had ASAP, 4 days later received a refund and a very disappointing message that only then they would begin processing my order to be sent, 3 days after that— no sign, past deadline of when I needed items and 2 weeks since original order. I’m not impressed.
