Fantastic products and outstanding customer service. I ordered a set of solar festoon lights and I received them the very next day! The quality of the lights is amazing. They light up my entire patio with warm lights. Thank you.

Please don't make the same mistake I made and buy from this company. They sell faulty lighting and will not except this even with evidence. Avoid, avoid avoid.
The fault is the lights flicker and have barely any lights on after the first 10 light bulbs.
The fact they turn on over an hour after our other solar lights is an added fault but one we can get around. The biggest issue is that the lights are very dull and barely on.

The products are poor quality, I suspect they have been bought from Temu or Shein and the prices have been doubled to make ultimate profit. Do NOT shop here. Don’t support ‘businesses’ like these. The company than unfairly reports the review even though many people have had the same complaints.

Don’t trust this company with your money.
Go to home bargains or B@M. Purchased lights £60 lasted a few weeks. No contact after my initial complaint!!

I purchased solar garden lights from this company in August 2025. The product was advertised as suitable for outdoor use and weatherproof.

Within less than a year, several of the bulbs have stopped working despite only being used seasonally outdoors. This is very disappointing given the product description and expectations for outdoor durability.

I have contacted customer support 3 times using the email provided and received no response. I also tried following up after finding a different company contact card included in the packaging, which appeared to belong to a separate business and gave conflicting information about the order. This was confusing and raised concerns about how the product is being distributed and supported.

Overall, I’m left with faulty lights and no meaningful customer service or resolution.

I would recommend others be cautious and consider the lack of after-sales support before purchasing.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Advertised as waterproof but within an 8 month period over half of the bulbs have suffered water ingress and no longer work. Contacted Customer Services but they have refused to replace or refund. Extremely disappointed having paid premium price for this product.

We ordered a set of these solar garden lights last year and were so impressed that we’ve just placed another order for more. The first set has been outside through all seasons and still works beautifully every evening, which honestly surprised us after bad experiences with other solar lights in the past.

The quality is excellent, they look elegant in the garden, and they create such a warm atmosphere at night. The newer set arrived quickly and looks just as good as the first.

Very happy customers and we’ll definitely continue adding more to our garden over time.

We always come back for our solar garden lights because they are the only ones we’ve found that truly survive a British winter. After trying several cheaper alternatives over the years, these are by far the most reliable and best quality. They continue working through heavy rain, cold temperatures, and dark winter days without any issues.

Another 1 Star rating! First of all the lights are NOT weather proof, neither are they “DESIGNED FOR UK WEATHER”. Purchased by my children as a birthday gift in June 2025 they looked great for a few months. I noticed over winter one or two light bulbs had water inside of them. Then gradually a few more until there were 10. I contacted Solar Garden Lights to see if I could get some replacement bulbs. I was shocked to receive the reply that “At this stage, the issue would be attributed to external factors or wear and tear, rather than a fault from the production line”. Wear and Tear!! When I questioned the reason for refusing any help I was told “We have already provided our position on this matter”. As abrupt as that!
It would seem that “The product description refers to the hybrid functionality of the string lights, specifically the inclusion of USB charging alongside solar power. This feature was intentionally designed to allow the lights to continue operating during UK autumn and winter conditions, when sunlight is often limited for extended periods. In that respect, the product performs exactly as described” and “In addition, if a customer contacts us regarding a fault within the first six months of use, we automatically treat this as an inherent fault and provide a replacement without issue”
So there you have it 6 MONTHS. After that you’re on your own!
To be fair they eventually said “as a gesture of goodwill, we would be happy to offer you a partial refund of £5. This offer is made without any admission that the product is faulty” Water inside the light bulbs isn’t a fault it would seem. In my opinion they are not fit for purpose and I have now replaced them with a set that are waterproof to IP65 standard.

I bought two sets of festoon solar lights around 10 months ago and have been really pleased with them. They’ve held up well in all kinds of weather and still work perfectly. Customer service was excellent, and delivery was impressively fast.

I’ve purchased solar lights from this company on multiple occasions and they’ve been consistently good. The quality is exactly what I was hoping for, and the lights give off a warm, inviting glow in the evenings. Delivery has always been on time and everything arrives well packaged. What I like most is the reliability, you know what you’re getting, and it matches the description. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I purchased two sets of festoon lights to decorate our house in December last year. The lights were defective as they were hardly ever lit and filled with water. Customer Service were appalling and even though I’d only had the lights for a couple of weeks refused to do anything about it. I now see several others have had similar issues. An expensive and frustrating experience. My order number is 13996 if you’ll let me have my money back for the defective lights. I was told I couldn’t send them back as I’d dared to use them! What a joke.

I bought some festoon outdoor garden lights last year, many are filled with water and no longer work. I cannot find any compatible bulbs anywhere else and I have just received a response from the company itself saying they don’t stock them and they haven’t been forthcoming about who does. Complete waste of money so go elsewhere

These are marketed as waterproof outdoor bulbs, yet within two months around 50% had failed. Several bulbs filled with rainwater and stopped working.

The seller dismissed it as “condensation,” which is hard to believe given the visible water levels inside the bulbs. Properly sealed outdoor lights should not fill with water and fail so quickly.

Very poor quality and disappointing after-sales support.

Sadly have sent numerous emails with regard to a remote control not working and received one response asking for photo. Sent this beginning of January and and further emails with no response...extremely disappointing.

As per their request sent details again and surprise surprise over 2 months on no response or resolution at all!! Avoid this company.

Ordered some fairy lights on 15th November promising shipping in 3-5 days and emailed on 26th to chase them up. On 27th Andrea in customer services assured me they had been “handed over to Royal Mail” (clearly untrue) with a tracking number that unfortunately related to a former order previously delivered. I wrote again, pointing this out to be told that an error had occurred and they could be dispatched next day, best they could do. In fact they cancelled the order with a huffy email. Their boast of fast free shipping UK is clearly untrue in my case and I find them both incompetent and unfriendly.

I would like to commend Andrea at Solar Garden Lights for her immense professionalism in handling my enquiry.

We’ve now purchased approximately 10 solar lights from Solar Garden Lights. They might cost a bit more, but the quality is on another level compared to other suppliers. We’ll continue buying without hesitation. A big thank you to Andrea in customer services for always replying promptly and resolving any queries. We wouldn’t choose any other company for solar lights.
